That's huge, from my experience it is easier to get a US/ Asian/ European visa than some African visas. by the whole of Africa do you mean the entire 54? including islands like Seychelles, Madagascar, Cape Verde, and Sao Tome which you can't just drive to. Sapasenator: I am planning a similar road trip, my objective is to tour the whole of Africa by road. Kindly keep us posted with pictures please. I did not realize Senegal does not accept Ecowas Travel certificate, my Nigerian passport is expired or more than 3 years now and I was planning never to renew and use the Ewcowas passport for trips, I may have to renew my Nigerian passport at last. |

Hi everyone I'll be posting updates on my preparations here and sharing details of the journey once we're on the road. Exciting news: I've purchased the domain travelwithadisa.com.ng. I'll be hosting my live location on map, and other content there—things I can't put on Nairaland . To make the trip smoother, I'll be applying for an ECOWAS travel certificate instead of using my almost-full passport. I will be visiting - Benin - Togo - Ghana - Côte d'Ivoire - Liberia - Sierra Leone - Guinea - Guinea-Bissau - Senegal - The Gambia I have been told (not confirmed) that Senegal doesn't accept the Ecowas travel certificate, so I will still be with My passport and National ID. If you have any tips or heads-up about the route, please share them! Your advice would be greatly appreciated. |

What are you coming to do in Nigeria? Valdo24: Hello everyone! I'm a Cameroonian residing in Yaoundé. I'm planning to travel to Lagos Nigeria in the next days while in Douala. But the issue is I have only my Cameroonian Id-cart. I would like to have guidance on how to have a safe road trip. Please I want to know: 1) if it is possible using only the Id-cart; 2) how to proceed once I am in Douala; 3) what to do when I am at the border; 4) and how to proceed, once I have cross the border, in order to reach Lagos safely. If possible, mentioning the various financial modalities will be of great help to me. Please, I will be very grateful receiving your help!
Thank you in advance! |

I meant that you should wear joggers instead. Passing through security requires taking off belts, shoes and watches. Bringing out laptops and tabs, to me this is the most stress part of traveling. Uniqueaccountant: why please....I love sports wears |

It’s show option for tourist visa sir. The right website is https://visas.immigration.go.ug/1. always apply using the right link (with govt extension eg .gov, .go.ug, . gov.ng etc) 2. You don’t need an agent, it’s straight forward 3. Have you yellow card (if don’t have it get it ready immediately. It’s usually invalid if taken within 10days of travel) 4. Uganda as at 2021 had a visa on arrival option also. Not sure if that still works, you are safer doing the evisa tho 5. If the platform is glitchy, look for an official number to call on the platform 6. Ugandan airways flies directly from Lagos, it’s govt owned so you can reach out to them for info on not just travels but visa 7. I am not an agent, non an authority on this. Just helping out, Do your own research

Travel › Re: Travelling To Aruba From Nigeria – From Visa Processing To Arrival by AdisaMighty: 5:05pm On Apr 28, 2024 |
But netherlands has an embassy in Nigeria. Starx: hi everyone, I recently received an invite from my boss to join a group vacation in Aruba in June, 2024.
I looked through a couple online forums and didn't find a lot of useful information from other Nigerians who have made this trip. So, I will be detailing each process of my trip preparation, from my Visa application to my arrival in Aruba, in the hopes that it helps somebody else.
A couple of things to note: 1. I am a Nigerian living in Nigeria. 2. I work remotely for a company located in the U.S. 3. I'm in upper management (which means my trips are company-sponsored). 4. I currently have a U.S. visa from an earlier trip this year. 5. I am a woman.
What I've found out so far: 1. What I am applying for is a short-stay Caribbean visa. 2. There is no Aruba Embassy in Nigeria (Aruba has no diplomatic missions in Abuja, Nigeria at the moment). 3. I am required to apply in person at an embassy or consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for this visa. 4. The closest place to make this application is at the Netherlands embassy in Cotonou, Benin 5. I will have to
Documents to be provided for my application: 1. Purpose of event: Trip flyer + schedule 2. Letter of invitation from the company. 3. Letter of sponsorship from the company 4. Employment Verification Letter 5. International passport (with US visa page) 6. COVID vaccination card 7. Yellow fever vaccination card ***(I'll include any additional that I cannot think of right now)
Next steps: 1. Confirm how to make a to-and-fro trip to Cotonou for my application 2. Travel for application
I'll be back with feedback. |
