Am a diehard Man U fan, but I want chelsea to qualify today. Let it be an all english final. I also think playing timo werner will not help Chelsea today when you have Gitoud, pulisic and ziyach and also Abraham on the bench. Those guys mentioned above are way better than timo |

Thank you so much for your submissions. I fell for it big time but was surprised when the very next morning, watching Arise TV correspondent at the sceen of the incident, I never saw any blood on the ground that you'll ordinarily see in a massacre(mind you, Lekki is tarred not bare ground), and even when there was a drone view of the particular area. That was when it occurred to me that it was all social media fake news. Yes, there were injuries, but death, I doubt very much. Now my question is this, Why are people blaming Gov Sanwo-Olu knowing fully well he had no authority over the army. These same people never blamed Gov El Rufai when the army killed over 350 shites in Kaduna or nobody blamed Abia state Gov when this same Buratai took Operation Crocodile smile to the east to kill people. Why are they now blaming a Gov who identified with the protesters and also took their letter to the president who did nothing? Why blame a Gov who made sure no police harrassed the protesters. 2. Why the planned attack on Asiwaju Tinubu? I am forced to ask this particular question because we all know Asiwaju has been demonized by a particular section of the country since GEJ lost the 2015 presidential election. They don't know planned attack on Asiwaju's companies will not directly affect him but the thousands of Nigerians employed in those organizations. The ripple effect of this destructions are that million will go hungry very soon. |
LarrySun:Pls Larry, how can I get this updates. |
Op, please continue posting your stories. At least, nobody has cone out to say that he copied his/her work and moreover he never laid claim to be the owner of the stories. Why all this holier than thou attitude of some readers. For your information, writing is a special skill and not everyone has that gift. Some of us are also gifted in reading and we always appreciate the writers. The Op has done nothing wrong in my opinion. Its not as if it was a story by a nairalander, he copied it from a different blog and posted here for us to enjoy, pls spare him. @op, pls continue posting the stories, we are enjoying it. Thanks. |
You have a fantastic story but the updates are too short and the intervals between the updates are not encouraging. |
Is it manual or auto? |
@Topher, I think you need to put this into motion picture. It will be a great thriller. Good job abd thanks for the update. |
Thanks topher052 for the update. |
Ismaxx:You really did hit the nail on head. I think I must also add that the owner of this forum, Seun Osewa is the stingy one. This guys(I mean the writers on literature here on nairaland)has contributed so much so nairaland. They bring so much traffic to nairaland. I can't tell you how many times I log on juat to read some stories. I am always glued to literature section and spends close to 10hrs a day on this section. Seun makes so much from this guys and it won't take anything awqy from him if he shows appreciation to this guys. Of note is TBM(TheBlessedMan) who accomplished over 1million views on one of his treads and others too numerous to mention, who have gotten more that 300views. This translates to mega pay for Seun and he smiles to the bank but this guys gives their time, energy and resources to make millions of us happy for nothing, except the meagre 5k monthly for best writer. It speaks volume tge type of person Seun Osewa is. I am of the opinion that Seun should compensate those who takes their time to write and bring traffic to his site. We have sites that pays for just commenting on threads and also some that pays for writing, so @Seun should do the needful and encourage this guys. |
True, we used to be very tolerant towards religion because its in our DNA, but some Yoruba people of today are becoming strange. I have to firstly, complain about today's christians, most especially, the so called pentecostals. There religious doctrines are more or less like the islamic extremists. I could remember growing up in the late 70s abd early 80s in lagos, surulere to be precised, all religous festivities were celebrated by all irrespective of your religion. Our parents bought cloths for us to celebrate with our friends. I for one was born into a christian family, both parents, my maternal side are muslims while my paternals are majorly christian those in both there are some who are of different religions. We all celebrated together. But what do we have today, the christians, who were the most tolerant then are the worse today. I still remember the way we always wait yo taste the foods brought to our house during salah and taste the delicious ram(meeen, that meat is sweeeeet). Then, we don't throw away any food because of fear of being poisoned or because of some religious beliefs but what do you have today. Some pastors openly preaching that you should not eat ram meat on salah days or you should not mix with 'uneven yoke'. Meanwhile, marrying a muslim woman has always been a problem(especially in places like ilorin), though in lagos it was really that serious because of the 'civilization'. By and large, the religious tolerant has really helped us as a people and I will wish this generation will open their eyes and not allow fundamentalist or extremists who preach what fovurs or boost their ego allow some foreign religions to bring our culture to ruins. |
