All of You that commented forgot to investigate properly what could have lead to their decision not to allow her to go for the job. Well, I checked her Dp and what I saw was an extremely beautiful and sexy babe that could drive any oga for work crazy. What I would say is that it is all about the osu syndrome which is real in igbo culture. So they are not to be blamed at all because they take adequate precaution in choosing a spouse for themselves and their children and this shouldn't be something to drag about.

From what I Know about fasting. Fasting is not a Form of spiritual gratitfication it is simply an act of punishing our body because it is the only thing and its actions that lead us into sin thereby drawing our soul away from god and so if we want the full blessing of God, we have to punish it by 1.fasting 2.wearing rag clothes for weeks as being done by the jews 3.floging oneself as being done by catholic monks and not talking to anybody for a length of time etc. So the purpose of fasting is using hunger as a form of punishment to our body and if you drink water there is no problem about that as long as the hunger is there.
