Family / Re: They Want Me To Marry Her Corpse, I refused by adob116: 12:23pm On Apr 30, 2022
StilmaVsBorn2w:
Back
then when my mom was warning me not to go that far when our relationship started She kept on insisting I should go for the girls in my tribe, I thought she was just been a tribalist bigot. If only I had listened

She bore me a son, he's 3years now... though her people knows me well from normal visitation..but I haven't been able to pay her bride price yet due to the hardship this regime has on us. life happened, unfortunately she got sick since February, ever since then from one hospital to another..I took several loans from people for hospital bills to the point of me looking sick myself.so sad for us we lost her last night.

I informed her elder brother who knows about all thats happening, he called me back this morning to tell me that his people told me to be prepared to marry her corpse. He went further and said if I don't pay her bride price, my boy will be taken from me and I should be ready to withstand the consequences.
I was surprised, I called for the burial arrangements not for a marriage ceremony

I blantly told him, I won't, why would I get married to her corpse. He was angry and cut the call on me.

Am more concerned about my son, please lawyer's in the house do they have any right to take my son away from me?
Even if they do am ready to give it to them, but spending money to Marry her corpse I will not.

I only brought this here, if had chance for my son whose still in my custody.

Sorry for your loss. May her soul rest in Peace.
I want you to listen/read with an open mind.

Look at this from a different perspective.

You won't be marrying a corpse if you paid the bride price. Instead you will be paying a debt you owe her people. They won't bring the corpse there. You can also get your family to do it for you.

In life you must think win-win and not just my way or nothing. See things from the family perspective. They can't burry her if her bride price has not been paid. No matter state of the economy, if you make up your mind, you can negotiate a settlement for the bride price.

Lastly, you will be doing this to honor your wife even I her death. Also, to keep a key relationship for you and importantly, for you son.

Let the peace of God guide your heart.

In the potential title-clincher, the Greek Freak came up huge by scoring 50 and leading the franchise a 105-98 Game 6 win. Thus, leading them to just their second title in franchise history and first in 50 years

Behind a dominant 50-point performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks survive a tough fight from the Phoenix Suns and record a 105-98 Game 6 win.

Thus, winning their second title in franchise history and first since 1971. The Greek Freak also finished with 14 rebounds, five blocks and two assists while shooting 16-of-25 from the field and an incredible near-perfect 17-of-19 from the free-throw line.

Romance / Re: Masturbation Has Destroyed My Dick and life by adob116: 12:08am On Sep 27, 2020
Jesus can change your life. Pick up your bible or open one on the internet and start reading the book of John. God loves you so much that he wants you to fulfil your destiny. You are made for more... Do not give up on life. Call on Jesus to rescue you now.

TheOdd1sOut:
Sad stories has been my eulogy right from time.

I wanted to lose my virginity since I'm almost 30 and yet no signs of losing the cursed thing.

I hustled for a week and made out #2500 to finally bang one babe in my street since she said its the price for 2 nuts. 2.5k for 2 nuts is fine by me

She collected the money and pulled her clothes off. She refused to pull her blouse, claiming my money isn't enough.
I wanted to penetrate and my dick didn't even respond. It was just dead. The condom even made things worse.
I wanted to enter raw but she harshly rebuked me and claimed I wanted to infect her. That if I am not doing with CD, I should take myself out of her room.
I couldn't bring it up, and offered for Mouth Gig. She shoved me on a chair and gave me 1 handjob and I came in less than 30s. She was obviously disgusted and at that moment, I regret watching my first porn in 1995 till date
She just sent me out of her room, I asked for my money since she didn't serve me and she started yelling and making a scene. I left to avoid embarrassment.
I am sick

I'm tired of this life. Almost 30 and I have no life. I can't Even find some of my critical documents like DOB and original admission letter(I only see the photocopy), this is preventing me from getting a decent job.

I hope my death makes more money than my life.
Its only a matter of time

Politics / Re: Obaseki’s Edo Victory: Tinubu Failed To Learn From History - Premium Times by adob116: 7:01am On Sep 22, 2020
Nairaland doesn't need to remain toxic. We can make our points with strong emotions.

In hindsight, you would agree with me that the same internal politics that bedeviled APC in Edo coupled with the current frustration against the ruling party was also what played out at the National level in 2015 against Jonathan. No doubt Tinubu played his part by taking advantage of the situation but that alone would not have worked had the north not fielded their own candidate (Buhari).

This is the true lesson from Nigerian political history - no region comes to power without the north. It will remain this way until the southern regions come together.

NGpatriot:
What history are the ignorant people talking about?

Let me school you, this is the real history.

Tinubu fought and defeated OBJ

Tinubu fought and defeated GEJ

Tinubu all by himself wrestled SW away from the PDP, the ruling party and the so called largest political party in Nigeria

Tinubu ejected the PDP/Ruling party from power

Tinubu remains the most powerful and influential politician and Nigerian alive and this is the reason why you can not stop writing, lamenting and crying over him everyday.

PDP was a bystander, a mare tool, a means to an end for Obaseki, what happened in Edo was an outcome of APC internal disagreements which they eventually will settle, reconcile and move on.
Politics / Re: APC Presidential Campaign Council Rejects INEC Postponement Of Election by adob116: 5:03am On Feb 16, 2019
Hahahha....APC and staging... Condemn indeed. They are just acting out the script just so we think the presidency did not ORDER this. We are not stupid. We know better. Nigerians be patient...what is inevitable is inevitable
chieyine:
PRESS STATEMENT BY APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL ON POSTPONEMENT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL/NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND GUBERNATORIAL/HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS:

WE CONDEMN THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE ELECTIONS, BUT URGE OUR TEEMING SUPPORTERS TO BE PATIENT AND DETERMINED

We have just received with great disappointment and disillusionment the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of its decision to postpone the Presidential/National Assembly and Gubernatorial/House of Assembly Elections to Saturday, February 23, 2019 and Saturday, March 9, 2019, respectively.

We condemn and deprecate this tardiness of the electoral umpire in the strongest terms possible. President Muhammadu Buhari had since cooperated fully with INEC by ensuring EVERYTHING it demanded to conduct free and fair elections were promptly made available to it. This news is therefore a huge disappointment to us and to our teeming supporters nationwide and around the world, many of whom have come into the country to exercise their franchise.

We do hope that INEC will remain neutral and impartial in this process as the rumor mill is agog with the suggestion that this postponement has been orchestrated in collusion with the main opposition, the PDP, that was NEVER ready for this election. We note that all the major credible demographic projections have predicted a defeat of the PDP and it seriously needed this breather to orchestrate more devious strategies to try and halt President Buhari’s momentum. It did the same as the ruling Party in 2015, when it realized the game was up, by orchestrating the postponement of the 2015 elections by six weeks. Now, it may be up to its old trick again.

We have earlier raised the alarm that the PDP is bent on discrediting this process the moment it realized it cannot make up the numbers to win this election. We are only urging INEC not collude with the PDP on this. We are truly worried because as early as Friday morning, some known PDP Social Media influencers unwittingly announced this postponement, but quickly deleted the message and apologized to the public that it was fake news. We do not want to be forced to a situation of announcing our total loss of confidence in INEC, because we know where that would leave our democracy.

It is in the light of the above that we wish to appeal to Nigerians and our supporters to be patient, calm and resolute despite this temporary setback. Let us not give anyone, especially the PDP, the opportunity to plunge this nation into a crises, which is what they earnestly desire. Its imminent defeat is just a few days away.

Lastly, we wish to draw the attention of INEC and the world to observe that the PDP has clearly and openly said it plans to announce parallel results through some funny device it has procured or developed. We wish to re-iterate that it is ONLY INEC that is legally and constitutionally empowered to declare results and it constitutes an offence for anyone to do so. We urge INEC to SPEAK UP NOW and warn the PDP to desist from this ignoble act that is capable of plunging the nation into a crises of immeasurable proportions.

Thank you

use www.hellofax.com to scan your docs to this number -780-422-9734

however u should track your nipost to know if it has gotten there.

IQAS only sends mails when they have all your docs complete, which includes transcript from the school and the docs u sent

Thanks a lot. It's seems NIPOST tracking only shows up to when the docs are bagged. This was the status on the 30th. Since then, no updates. Someone told me it's like that for NIPOST, that my docs will get there.

I can't recall if its artmedia. But someone once said that NLNG is not holding anyone against his will. I agree with the person. I wish I could just ignore them till they finally come calling. I wish the lengthy recruitment process is not affecting my decisions. I am also one of those that believe irrespective of the final number I will be among the chosen. However, I have also realised that it is not a sign of lack of faith to start taking those key decisions that will help improve my life. Whether it is going to another country or spending the money to take those certification exams that might not be relevant to NLNG...we all need to start moving forward.

So, I will keep occupying and moving forward...thatz how I'm gonna wait.

Hello All,

Regarding the NLNG GT the resumption is going to be Q3 2016, this is from a reliable source.

Thanks for the info.
But I dont think anyone really cares about such info especially when it involves waiting for days, weeks and months. As artmedia rightly said they can change their mind anytime. All their decisions are circumstantial. Chances are that whatever inforemed Q3 decision (assuming its true) will also change. When that happens, we trust NLNG to change the date as well.

Best thing - let them call when they are ready.
