This is what happens when you sign funny looking contracts with dem Sony-Pony-Tony people... They insist you naked thyself against thy will.
|
Danaruz:Lol! Why you guys think everyone who uses night plan downloads only porn baffles me... Like do you think there aren't a ton of useful things to do with data at night?? I mean it's perfectly OK if that's what you do, but again there's a popular saying: "misery likes company", so you look for someone else to tag porn watchers because you do same... In my opinion, this is wrong, always-always learn to speak for yourself.

Every word In this article is 110% true, I am a living legend (I mean living witness) to this. Good job Op!

No go dey compare yourself oo! Dey-your-dey!! Could be a gift, hire purchase or some sort of two-way publicity deal, these people are into show business, no show, no business! Any which way congrats to him.

sugacoatedmouth:Haha!! They're welcome, I serve hot creamy-buttered popcorn and drinks when I'm in a good mood. Now back to the matter, all three have gone international, no doubt, kudos to them, it's not an easy feat, a few did it before them, folks will still do it after them, I only said I connect more with Burna's rise because it feels all natural and in my opinion is a direct representation of what he has stood for all these years. It's a personal opinion though that I feel is shared by many. Lastly you mentioned Olamide Baddo, I laugh in HD, Burna's success is success for the African-Nigerian music sphere as a whole, it's a huge Domino effect! It's a major major game changer for everyone, and for artistes that have stuck their ground and stayed loyal to their roots? they will be the major recipients of this goodwill, you have no idea. |
livebyday:My fellow intellectual.. I see you clearly mate.. People don't get that when you sign with these Sony, Pony and Tony people, part of the contract stipulates that you alter your style to suit their foreign audiences, hence funny-sounding tracks ft funny-people with sometimes funny-sounding track titles that do not usually see the light of day after their initial release. Critics will have to agree that even when Burna features with these goochi-woochi-ferragamo people, he sticks to his roots, it still sounds 100% afrocentric, he doesn't have to speak the most English, no tweaking of style, just same old afrobeat with an even better vibe; a feat not so easy to pull, some have tried but have never achieved it. I mean have you seen the tracks on the album? Just flipping through you can tell and feel its 110% African, I'm really proud to be African, this to me is a major game changer for our global brand as African-Nigerians. |
You know what's exciting about Burna boy's rise to success? It's a combination of sheer hard work behind the the scenes, razor-sharp ambition, an amazing team/management and raw talent... What's sweeter is the fact that his growth has been very organic. No forced features, no gra-gra foreign interviews, no forming accents on foreign events to sound accepted, nothing forced whatsoever... Just plain hard work and consistency over the years ... And then boom! his time is here.

leomarz007:Haha! My haters from another network!! Don't want me to be great but always D.O.A.. Anyways, I did all these yesterday amongst other things and I still have approximately 2.6gb left as I type this. I'm pretty sure if this was an MTN line, I'd have been doing about 4 GB plus already.

chimdi101:Very welcome... |
mrMeen:oops! Didn't see that part, well I don't know about that... Offline or online, what difference does it make.. I'm currently living the life. ![]() |
chimdi101:nothing difficult, bought a new 4g LTE airtel sim pack from those young roadside sim card agents for N300, took about 5 minutes to get my bio data and set up sim on my phone, was asked to recharge N200 (you can recharge N100, your choice) to make a call in order to activate the sim, of which you get a short but cordial pre-recorded thank you message from their MD when you call, so don't be scared, lol! No 24 hour activating delay B.S, no stress!.. Got my free 4gb for 7 days as well, and Internet speed has been delicious since yesterday. As we speak I still have 2.9gb available data after watching tons of YouTube and IG videos to say the least. Life is now chill with airtel.
