Fear is a fuel, it either propel you towards positivity or negativity.

We all are scared of the unknown, we listen to people ahead and hear different lamentations and different success stories, different sad stories and different good stories. Our mind mostly feed on negativity because that is what sells in our today world. Waking up to a typical Nigeria news blog you are sure to see doom news, WhatsApp status with bloody scenes. It makes you don't want to do anything,don't want to make you go outside. In the school premises you hear stories of failures and you hear stories of victories.

Here is a good news, in all this happening there is a choice you can make. It is either you choose life so you can live or you choose curses so you can live. No single one person who is successful that didn't pass through what you are passing right now, that fear.

Embrace the good side of life,see positivity,think and attract positivity. Find a picture of what you feel best represent your life and feed on it. Good things comes to those who go for life(Jesus is the way,the truth and life). Choose wisely.

I do not know what future holds. This country's situation keep worsening everything and not making things easy. I'm an undergraduate in her penultimate year. I'm sincerely scared of life after graduation. I just really hope life wouldn't deal with me in a messy way.

One thing I've also realized that has contributed to this is that, I was bullied in the past, and I know this has also become a motivation that drives these behaviors of mine. I'm tall. Really tall for a lady, that people talk about and notice wherever I go. This has also contributed significantly to my shyness.

There is nothing wrong with u. U are an introvert and i am an introvert too. U are a loner, i am a loner too. I do same too. I fear gossiper or backbitters. U are ok. many times, i find it difficult mingling with people etc. U aren't alone. I would advise that u make good friends or make friendship with people u can easily flow it. I will get over it gradually.

Well, I'm not the one to judge that.

Good morning, everyone.

I've a serious problem. I would say it's serious for it's making me offending my parents and making them have some negative thoughts and feelings about me that there's likelihood that I may not be a merciful child in future.

My major problem is, I feel shy going out and only goes out only when it's absolutely necessary. Even when my parents wanna send me on an errand sef, I try avoiding it because of this. Even when there's a family function I try avoiding it and only go when it's necessary. Even when I get there, I sit where people wouldn't see me.

When I have places to go and it's necessary, I always ensure its night. Or very early in the morning before there's crowd everywhere, coz I stay is a ghetto-like area in Lagos.

I care about what my parents think of me. I offended my dad yesterday's night, and I doubt if he will ever forgive me. He sent me an errand although which also doesn't require me to go outside though. I did the same to my mum on a day before new year. I'm really saddened by this and really want to change for good. I will be 23 by may, and I'm really saddened by this. My parents are having another thoughts about me that I may not be merciful child even though I'm a female.
