Applied Jan 27, against Feb 2 resumption CO requested for extension letter from my educational provider, bcoz of time frame school diferred me to July 15.
My CO repplied that my visa will b finalised 4 months prio to my resumption date which is march 18.

God is truelly residing in OZ.... We shall recieve our heavenly blessing in that fruitful country.

My story is a little complicated but I'll try and present it as simply as possible, kindly help me read thru and advise me.

I plan to apply for an Australia Visa for me and my wife buy around Sept this year and having gone through the requirements I feel I have met most of the criteria except the issue of marriage.

We did our Trad in early 2013 and the Church Wedding 3months later. A few months later I looked at the wedding certificate and to my shock, they'd made numerous mistakes in our names! I called the catechist and he said we should bring it for correction. wedding was in the far north and we now live and run our business in the south. When my wife went there this year the same Rev Father that conducted simply refused pointblank to make the corrections, he said that's his own policy. He was so insolent my wife was close to tears

Now the error ridden church wedding certificate is of no practical use in its current state, what can I do to have a valid wedding certificate for my upcoming visa application?

can I swear an affidavit to cover this? or will the embassy frown on that?

Can I and do another sharp sharp registry wedding? I'm seriously considering this just to have peace of mind.

Well, you make this situation abit difficult to assess without telling the nature of the problem. Is it with name or what? Has she done change of name in a national newspaper? The nature of the mistake will determine further actions...

I told her to be preparing for her ielts exam now. What next after the test?

Am sure you are given option of master card payment too. Pay thru gtb current account using ur naira mastercard or other banks. It is faster and cheaper. i already used the two methods before.

You need good Bsc or Msc result, high marks in ur BSc/ Msc research Project, very supportive Supervisor, few publications plus Oral presentation of one of ur work in at least a conference, excellent recommendations and good SOP.
More importantly, You need GOD as the competition is always fierce.

Guess you are doing fine. Usually if there is any growth on the culture, you ll be notified before the 8 wks but i pray you wont get such a call. You will come out clean.

Plus..am really in a dancing mode now. I just got a living expenses scholarship now from my school..now with my previous 100% tuition scholarship and my visa...guess OZ is going to just be pretty cool.

Happy Christmas in advance to all in the house. Anyone heading to Hobart in Tasmania very soon? I will be entering there early January. Let's hook up.

Ebola has never been a threat to Australian visa approval of Nigerians.Go and collect ur passport pls. Your agent doesn't have ur visa.

What kinda of agent did not know a good enough account for you? What a high level of incompetence! Sorry for that...go for SVP as advised.

My people, I wish to confirm that I and my family members were granted skilled select permanent 189 visa this night. I called my case officer to enquire about my application status and he told me he would go through my documents and get back to me. Less than 10 minutes later, I get the grant notification from Australia. Let me start by expressing my appreciation to everybody that has contributed to this forum. I am deeply indebted to bosslady, mameta who sent me his write up for engineers australia, jenny kandry, precher and others too numerous to mention. I appreciate your inputs and support. I cant thank you all enough for the kindnes..May God grant you all your heart desires. Thank you. Those looking for PR visa and student visa God will grant you your heart desires

The Lord has done it again, student visa sub 572 granted for family of 5
Submitted application on the 30th sept.
CO called on 28th oct. ( She asked so many question for about 20min) and asked me to go for medicals
Went for medicals on the 31st( cos my hubby is hypertensive which is been managed, the panel doctor asked for th last 6months medical report)
Medicals finally submitted by panel doctor on the 18th Nov.
Visa granted on 26th Nov.
Glory be to Almighty God for seeing us through.

Guess u applied for PR and not Student Visa. BossladyMo has expertise in the area of PR.

Now am thinking maybe d way they handle PR medicals differ from student medical and the Panel Doctor has detected abnormality in ur xray and want you to clear up once and for all.

It is good u emailed CO. Then go to the clinic and follow the Doctor's instruction. They sometimes know better as it is not their first experience. I bet they are under obligation to do what will favor u..trust me.
Now relax and go for the cultures.
You ll be fine.

Damn this people are manipulating things, they tole me it cant be submitted because of the new medical chest x ray required that there is no way it could be submitted. Why are these people full of lies. That the system is design in such a way that they cannot click submit button unless all the test on the page is done. CO gave me only 28 days the new test will take 8 weeks starting next week monday please i need advise.

Well relax bro. Guess they want you to do everything at once. Just email your CO and let him know you can't make the 28 day timelimit as your panel doctor is putting you under 8weeks culture test.

Hmmm.....by d way, did u letter say you shld do sputum culture tests and take xray after?

Yeah, called the hospital to go ahead and submit my medicals and if CO respond that i should go for TB test, then i would be left with no choice, Meanwhile my status still remian incomplete and i did the test since 18th of Nov. Please how long does it suppose take them to submit the test, thought its 2-5 days?

Your First medical shld be submitted within 2/3days all things being equal irrespective of any medical finding. Did you ask them y they cldnt submit yet?Please monitor them n be sure it is submitted. Your CO or MOC is the only officer permitted to request for additional medical unless the rule has changed recently bcs your request letter shld bear a 28 day time limit and if no medical is submitted, CO will go ahead to make decision and of course u know already what such outcome will be..and if they insist they must complete all necessary procedures and you are sure it will go beyond 28days, pls notify your CO. I have read of somebody that was refused based on failure to report within 28 days.

Like I said earlier, TB issue wont negatively affect the outcome. Just the time! Just cooperate with ur panel doctor to follow the instructions of the MOC and u ll soon be cleared.Let us know d updates here so we can advise accordingly. cheers.

I followed Surveyor1 advice, wrote my CO this morning to ask abt my medical update and was told I had been cleared with undertakings. I signed d document, sent in my polio certificate and less than 30 mins later, got my own golden grant letter.

God has done it at last. My Visa has just been granted! Thanks to everyone. Everyone has been helpful...Jenny, bosslad, Surveyor1, etc and my personal person- Juliana who is already in Sydney with hub...u re all great and many thanks

I just called the clinic now they said I should come for the 8weeks sputum test, meanwhile they've not submitted the my medical examinations, should I tell them I will wait for co to tell me or I should just go ahead and start on Monday. A friend who traveled 3yrs said he had same issue co sent email a form to fill that he will undergo d test in Aussie and he did when he got to Aussie no tb. So my concern is should I wait for them to submit and contact my co or I should safe time and go dp it on Monday? This is really bad school resumes 9th of feb

I had similar query but my cultures came negative.

If TB was queried in the case of ur friend, it would mean he was given health undertaken form to sign and this always come after the 8weeks culture with the current reg. They can't waive the 8weeks unless u are given option of CT scan which may not absolutely be diagnostic. In fact if detected to be positive after 8 weeks, you may be asked to do the 6months treatment before the 2nd culture procedure.
Just relax.I will advise u go and start on Monday to safe time. Don't wait for CO. In Abuja, such test is free. So u have got nothing to loose. U may be lucky to meet up with ur resumption date.
Have u been treated of TB before or been exposed to TB patient before?
preliminary tests for 3days may be done to determine your level of exposure to TB after which 8 weeks culture will be done.

Don't worry. Whether active or inactive TB, visa is hardly refused on this ground alone but time is usually consumed.
