I went very prepared, I had my petitioner and my joint sponsor's tax papers up to date. The only problem was that my joint sponsor's own was individual income tax return (form 1040) which is also acceptable in place of IRS transcripts. Now they say they are only going to be accepting the IRS transcripts for the interview. And they never deemed it fit to tell us at the In-person document review..

Now I have to start another game of waiting. This whole thing is just so exhausting even for my petitioner and joint sponsor. I have informed the joint sponsor though and he said the document will be ready in 2 weeks..

What's even more tiring is the fact that I have to travel to Lagos from Benin every damn time and lodging in a hotel, coupled with the risk associated with traveling along Nigerian highways. This interview made it 4 times I have been to Lagos in one month. Even if I want use flight, I go fit use flight to and fro 4 times?

I feel your pains, concerns, and financial costs. There is a plot to dissuade would-be LPRs. Just get to know this. Chill and go back to Lagos next month; deliver to OIS the requested doc, the instruction pages, and your passport (I want to believe you've your Passport). Upload the Joint sponsor doc too.

She met another person with the same problem that told her that the best way to get them to reply directly to your mail (without the machine response) was to keep bombarding them with incessant mails especially at night. They both did it and they responded and scheduled another document review date for them without them having to follow stupid Visa navigator link there.

We were supposed to do our interview the same day but unfortunately for me I didn't know the secret on time and fortunately for her she knew and she was able to get them to reschedule her for document review before our main interview date. So she had her interview on the very day we were supposed to have our interview while I did my document review instead of interview on that same day.

The embassy and US govt are creating this backlog. If they don't want legal migrants any more, let them shut down the process instead of these nonsensical tactics.

Those embassy staffers are now puns in the hands of Trump administration. It is so sad and unamercian. I will tell them to be sending mails as you suggested.

Have they checked on CEAC site if the visas was even issued? You didnt answer that question

Lastly let them folow the Visa Navigator and the instructions there. They receive tons of emails so those emails are grouped properly of ypu follow those instructions. Its when its grouped that someone will attend ed to it.

They couriered to his brother who lived in Lagos and now in the US with same category but different interview dates. So the package was turned in, because his brother can't do otherwise and a little print-out of how to know when the passports are back or sth was given. CEAC has nothing to indicate issuance, you just see file was last seen....

PR vs PR is not a problem. The issue is when you come in on a visit visa or study visa and you want to marry a PR or CC when the latter is esp a female.

When they do get the automated response they need to follow PROMPTS in the automated response so that their mail can be seen.

Thank you. On the interview day, the consular interviewer told my acquaintance to get them the petitioner's wife AOS and mailed it alongside with the passports. This was done via OIS lagos (After Embassy told them to mail from Abuja, OIS Abuja rejected and the package was DHLed to a person in Lagos who submitted). No proof from OIS Lagos that it received this package (not good from this third party and Embassy).

Now we do not know where the 5 passports are. US Embassy is behaving like a 3rd world place, no access to them, no modernization of services.

Guys, how can one contact the US embassy Lagos about non-issuance of visas (F4) since Nov5 Interview? Medicals will expire early April. This thingy is getting out of hand.
