SlayQueenSlayer: That is Ikoyi where diplomat and other nationals are more likely to see poor and hungry citizens camped in front of a sitting president's personal residence for alms. This is not good for any self-respecting Nigerian. But the president goes abroad with expensive wrist watches and plane load of others to beg for loans and debt cancellations. He doesn't have shame in the first place. |

Including disorderly conducts, breach of peace, inciting hatred / violence, cyber bullying, etc. don’t go tempting the boundaries of the laws all in the name strong head.
It’s not worth the headache. Fuel price is becoming less. Police extortion and brutality less. More electricity, water and housing. Bhahaha |

internationalman: Mention people like Taal17 and aestake they will be of great help to you. Not sure the sister is the petitioner. She may have been the co-sponsor because folks use their parents for faster movements. If they have already said no humanitarian consideration because mom passed on before i130 approval, she may ask her sister to assume petitioner. I don't know if that means fresh application of i130. But definitely longer wait time! The brother has been in the US since 2015, let him fall in love with a USC or LPR nao. @Annichere, this msg is actually for you. You may involve an immigration attorney. Pls accept my condolence. Tough time and no much good news from your circumstances. |

Sponsorship is the term commonly used for UK Immigration. It exists as well in the Canadian Immigration System, however, It is just commonly known as Work Permit. OP however is a Permanent Resident (PR). Work permit is temporary work visa here. Sponsoring family members is permanent resident visa. |

Taal17: You might get more responses if you post in the Living in Canada thread
Your concerns are valid...certainty to uncertainty The only thing I would add is that you would need two incomes in Canada so your wife would have to prepare to work. Does you FCMG have policy for taking study leave? You can also consider going first and prepping for your family ahead. He said they have done soft landing and went back to Nigeria. I guess at this point everyone has their PR card and can move anytime within the residency rules. |

The gigolo with a shrivelled dick did her a world of good as it's obvious he's only coming to leech off her. That's the only thing in the chicken brain of these modern males. I'm sure she'll find another homely, submissive, virginal and virtuous man she'll be a protective Queen to. |
