We were supposed to do our interview the same day but unfortunately for me I didn't know the secret on time and fortunately for her she knew and she was able to get them to reschedule her for document review before our main interview date. So she had her interview on the very day we were supposed to have our interview while I did my document review instead of interview on that same day.

Wait so do they even know if their passports were delivered to OIS i. Lagos? OIS should have given them something or registered the drop off.

Have they checked on CEAC site if the visas was even issued? You didnt answer that question

Lastly let them folow the Visa Navigator and the instructions there. They receive tons of emails so those emails are grouped properly of ypu follow those instructions. Its when its grouped that someone will attend ed to it.

Have they gone to OIS to see if their passports are there? They would need to book an appointment on OIS site for pick up if they have confirmed their passports have been issued
Have the visas been issued ?

Did they send email to lagosiv@state.gov
When they do get the automated response they need to follow PROMPTS in the automated response so that their mail can be seen.

The White lady that did my biometry today was so helpful and understanding and smiling all through. Unlike our people, she doesn't yell whenever she detects an error, instead she helps correct it without even bothering to notify you.

My question is, why are we so rude to ourselves. Why is an average Nigerian always angry.. I don't want to even talk about the situation of begging.

So I went there today and I was shocked to found a lot of people with my situation. They acknowledged it was an error on their part, instead of the interview they proceeded to do our In-person document review and then rescheduled our interview for 2 weeks time (March 19th).

That's true as I have come to realize in my case. I have sent more than 10 messages to enquire/require for a reschedule for my document review appointment, yet no single meaningful response. I had a few manchine responses that wasn't in any way helpful.. I'm going to my interview on March 4th now and I don't even know if I will be interviewed by the consulate without undergoing the document review..

This whole process has been going smoothly for me until this stage of the process which Nigerians are in charge.

You will get your visa, I had to submit documents after my interview as well.
please relax. WORRYING ADDS NOTHING but stress. Go on with your life, the date on your visa will be from the date of your medical visa. Use the time to prepare for your moving
