HazzanTazzan: You're def a fool...
To even face me and say rubbish.
Firstly, they sold me a car without custom paper... I asked for custom papers before making payment but they said papers will be brought out after I pay...
After payment, story changed... they didn't know it didn't have papers... pay extra 60k for the papers...
Engine is almost dead...
Gear is almost dead...
And so on...
So you in your shallow mind believe cars45 wrote these things on their report for me and I bought the car?
In short, you're a bastard to even defend what's not defendable... This was the exact story they told me only that in my case it was some of the original registration particulars. Then some online nonentities Will be insulting me and talking nonsense just because here is an anonymous online forum. |

helpishere: Naija used cars with wrong oil, tiny plugs irrespective of number, thermostat removed, fan permanently on, air filter clogged, using seahorse as gear oil, using abro for power steering fluid, using winter tyes and all season tyres on the same car and when the end result is giving the owners nightmare, they look for a place to sell. The used car dealers will put the car in their shop for months telling them that no buyer o and will be using the car in the meantime adding 6 litres all the time thus ruining the nozzles. Then after 3 months of waiting, the owner because he has been made carless, decides to sell the car and get his money instantly. Cars45 will evaluate and pay the seller instantly and will advertise the same car without repairing the defects, documenting all the pros and cons. Their strong online presence made afangsoup(now 4 days old soup) to leave his base to buy from their yard. That is the state of naija used cars and that is why we should make everyone follow the owner's manual for proper maintenance because our friends or relations might buy these crappy cars as their first car. I should ignore you since you lack objectivity in your comments and you do not speak as an intelligent being. I refused to be dragged to your levels. BYE |

@helpishere, I did an underground search and i discovered previous owner was an offshore engineer. i called him and he told me he bought that car himself in usa, he used it and shipped it here he serviced it with mobil 1 and fusch personally. he gave it to his brother when he was relocating back to usa. back in akwa ibom, my mech is competent and i still get advices from kingreign. now you see you're a busy lice. |

helpishere: No wonder you are seeking for a pound of flesh. It is the reason why we need to sit up and pass the information around. A Mercedes compressor is a supercharged version and so it does not tolerate our fuel and coupled with the 20w50 oil, the engine will pack up followed by the gear. It is glaring that the previous owner having destroyed his car thru his stinginess quickly offloaded the car on them and the new buyer had to rectify what the previous buyer did. Is it cars45 error of judgement buying such a car? Now you are crying fraud and you are not taking any initiative to stem the root cause of why naija used cars are crappy. The oil, the plugs and the many ignorance of the practitioners in the field. If your mechanic could not detect sludge in that engine before allowing you to pay, then he is the Uyo version of kazeem. And you are blaming cars45 for buying the car in that dismal state and selling in that same state. I think they should engage good mechanics as their consultants to verify cars before they purchase it from the owners. Go to the housing estate on the road to Ibom hotel and tell the woman there to give you correct afang soup and not the 2 days own wey you call yourself. I go pay |

I SAY THIS, CARS45 are scam and dishonest. i wanted buying a c class and called kingreign but he was busy so i left akwa ibom to lagos with my mechanic, we saw an ad of a 2005 c230 kompressor and called its seller who took us to their ikeja office adjacent mobil station. saw the car, my mechanic wasn't able to scan or drive it reasons known to the cars45 staff who wore their id card. the car was clean inside out we asked for papers they said the paper was avialable and after payment we were given the document which i didnt check due to my being late. we started driving and towards berger ojodu its engine knocked. we towed it to ladipo got new engine only for the mechanic to tell me they brought that same car to him and he adviced them to replace the engine and gearbox as the gear stops selecting when its hot. long and short i replaced both engine and transmission. only to discover they only gave me some copies of the car papers and not all. i spent 480k to put that car and its document back in shape. |

michelin latitude or even pilot sports tyre 20" cost between 135-150k brand new. mpg is horribly poor for a vehicle of its size n class. suspension is too stiff for practical daily commute. parts are very cost and quite scarce. terrible blind spots due to its build. not practical in hauling people or cargo due to its slopy shape. |

I am not paying duty on this car, so i am not shipping it to Lagos, I am shipping it to Benin, Popularly known as Cotonou, I see most people don't know Benin is the country and Cotonou is just a city. Car will come through the land border to Lagos. Understand now? Send this car to Abuja, to Kingreign. I believe he can restart it but you're gonna spend some good cash. |

chukel: did you actually read this before posting. You just made a caricature of your self. I numbered your goofs. 1. What is Internet meant for and why is ur oga even advertising his feat here on the Internet. The number 1 bolded shows you were sent. 2. Where will you read the principle of compression and engine vacuum if not on the Internet. You are really not smart. 3.you still referred us to the Internet to watch youtube. What are you even saying. 4. You finally exposed yourself. Like I said earlier, you are not smart. If you noticed along the line, poster said misfire was intermittent. He said loss of compression is responsible for misfire. Is loss of compression intermittent too? Meanwhile, the symptom that brought the car to the workshop was constant. Op, just listen to other people's input. No one is an island of knowledge. Overseas, when intermittent issues are brought to the technician, they try to simulate the problem or probable cause of the problem to produce the presenting symptom. Only cylinder 1 misfire will not make that car go into limp mode. I have an infiniti Qx4 2002 that has cylinder 1 misfire. I'm the only one that knows that cos I scanned it. You can only notice that subtly on idle. Thanks bro, you see why I'm attacking him. Don't mind the nnam ikot |

torres89: selfish Nigerians
no one willing to accept another man's view
most people kept shouting swirl valve
well did any of you bother to read on the principle of compression and engine vacuum
let's stop being parts changers
what kind of mechanic looks up the internet for solutions
that's a very dull mechanic and I will say that anywhere.
owing to the fact that similar symptoms on two different vehicles will never or might not point out the main culprit.
checking the net should be very last resort.
only check the net for rare vehicles with silly cases.. not this easy one
the main problem here is this :
most peeps don't even understand the principle of pressure or engine compression I doubt if most of you guys understand the working principle of an engine
that's why most peeps here have a pile of return jobs u even see cars lined up in their garage for as long as a year. just because of their shallow knowledge on diagnosis
as for those of u who recommend the mechanic work on the engine, please kindly Access YouTube and watch videos on MRO facilities, then u will know y local mechanics shouldn't open your engine
am tempted to mention so called big names here who have a very shallow knowledge on diagnosis and can't tackle complex issues . but I won't and no one should force me too
cause have being to their garage and studied their work ethics
iin fact let me just stop
honmusa is the best Pls do. |
