I don't give in to cheap blackmail. I see people like you as distractors. Do you think everyone engages in petty politics ? One day you less educated, myopic, backward individuals in all sectors and levels of our society will give way to the more intelligent and broader minded, progressives. Only then will this country make progress.
Right now I am tempted to list the PETTY issues you have against this individual. But on second thought I won't because that will be stooping to your level.
All over the UK and in the US I have met distiguished Nigerians well respected in proffessional circles in europe and America.Contributing a whole lot to the progression of these already developed nations. But I know that these individuals in Nigeria will be seen as unqualified and unsuitable for positions in Nigeria using some petty backward calculations.

@Adigun 101
Murder to you and plundering of public trust are very minute petty issues.

adigun101:

I really hope it is not a mistake. But my point is that this nation can do much better. We have the potentials in human resources but we always manage to undermine ourselves. Nigeria has 29 banks with 29 MDs/CEOs this guy has been there for just 6 months and that justifies his being CBN governor over Soludo.
i don't understand how we reason in Nigeria. This just has politics at all costs written all over it.
The man was drawing programmes to make Nigeria more economically viable throught its financial sector. And people are talking about risk management as if that is our biggest problem now. This is shocking. Nigeria was well set up to be sub sahara's financial hub and we could already see this taking place.
All that cut short because of politics and people on this thread are trying to justify this !
Well I sign out this thread for good.
No be my papa get naija ! lipsrsealed

@ Adigun because of Nigerians like you i will not forgive nor will i forget Soludo's Sins. I will expose all his crimes from 2004 to 2009.
You will run and hide your face. Adigun 101 shame will overtake you on behalf of Soludo from Deceit to Murder. You will hear facts and then as you kneel at the feet of your soludo a man you know not yet asking why. I will remind you of your text on this thread.

Sanusi will do better than Soludo because i will stand by him and support him once he holds onto truth. As for Soludo i am still hunting him down he must pay for his crimes. He must be exposed. His web of Murder and deceit must be unwoven.

I pity his wife and children suddenly like a hawk i will strike their lying, killing benefactor by the grace of Almighty God i will succeed.
Politics / Re: Soludo Gets A Second Nod by Affalatus: 5:28am On May 04, 2009
Soludo ended Nike's existence on earth just because she greeted him telling him that the writer of the NEEDS program asked her to greet him. The writer of the NEEDS program used to be a friend and an ally to Soludo when ideas and development were the issue but when praise and commendations came Soludo saw him as enemy number one but he did not have the heart to kill him at least not as of this morning.

Just because of a greeting SOLUDO just a simple greeting. What were you afraid of? That she would tell the world what. What could she have proved? You panic way too easily that is why you fail too often, SOLUDO.
Politics / Re: Soludo Gets A Second Nod by Affalatus: 1:22am On May 03, 2009
I suggest Martin Oluba as replacement for Soludo.
Politics / Re: Soludo Gets A Second Nod by Affalatus: 10:56pm On May 02, 2009
I helped make Soludo into an acceptable commodity in the minds and hearts of the Nigerian people. I had dreams of using a man good on paper but weak in reality and developing an acceptable image that would drive economic development i ended up creating a monster.

This is my redemption. Did you say EFCC? How many billionaires have they prosecuted. Soludo can spare 10 billion Naira to save himself. Apart from this, I do not want to cut down the tree i planted i am hoping someone else will do it for me especially as snakes have started to invade my house from it.
Politics / Re: Soludo Gets A Second Nod by Affalatus: 10:07pm On May 02, 2009
Soludo!!??!! This man deserves a thorough investigation and if i am called into the team that must investigate him then he is ruined because i will start by asking him the following questions before i begin to throw facts at him.

1. Who killed Nike Ayilara a CBN staff in 2006 and why?

2. Where and when were the Banking reforms and some particular financial sector reforms in the NEEDs program written and by whom?

3. What informed the CBN capital base requirement of 25 Billion Naira?

4. What informed the creation of the 2 naira coin?

5. How and why would redenomination of the Naira have in any way have helped the Nigerian State?

6. How was over 6 billion Dollars mopped from the FOREX market from October 2008 to December 2008 and by whom in preparation of what?

7. In the face of a devalued naira and increased inflation vis a vis inflation rate you brought interest rates down? What manner of Economics informs this?

The answer to these questions rests my case.

Politics / Re: Soludo: Decision Time For Yar’adua by Affalatus: 5:41pm On Apr 19, 2009
Just as Lucifer was so admired by the angels that a third of them joined him in failed quest and he was thrown like lightning down and has since fought to scuttle all of God's plans so to story of Soludo is walking the same path.

Till date Lucifer still has followers just like Soludo Soluekwensu.
Politics / Re: Soludo: Decision Time For Yar’adua by Affalatus: 5:28pm On Apr 19, 2009
Soudo's story reminds me of the story of Lucifer. Lucifer got to a great position just like Mr. Soludo he thought he could lie to God, Steal from God and even Kill GOd.
Soludo stands accused of lying and he has lied to the Nigerian People especially about the origins of his banking reforms incorporated in the NEEDS programme. He has stolen from the Nigerian People using his mentor OBJ to enrich himself by the use of obnoxious straight from the then Presidency's directives which are not worthy of the term law and Yes he stands acussed of instigating the killing of one young lady at the CBN to hide the mentioned lie here.

He will not escape i have made my life the business of bringing justice to him and his household. I will not rest until he is tried or i am dead. He knows me very well and he knows i am the one writing this.

He should stop avoiding to defend himself. This is a man that knows so little about Consolidation that he cannot defend the origins of the 25 billion Naira capital base. This is a man that knows so little about economics that he listened to someone present the Redenomination idea to the OBJ Government and rushed to present the 2 Naira coin to the Nigerian people saying it will have value.

@IKEY MAN can you bet the lives of those whom you love on the belief that i am a mere mumu.
Politics / Re: Soludo: Decision Time For Yar’adua by Affalatus: 8:53pm On Apr 18, 2009
Yar'adua should sack Soludo and keep him in prison i have a water tigth case for his imprisonment Nigerians need to be introduced to the true nature of Mr. Charles Soludo. CBN Liar and possibly link him to at least one killing in 2006.

What do you know about Consolidation? As the Bible was written by God through men so too was Consolidation written by me and presented through this devil you are in love with. Glory be to God.

@ Frank-C

Responsible statements you do not seem to care about. Soon you too will get the sword of wickedness visit you. Then when you say see who hurt you i will say you are drunk abi.
Frank-C:

@Affalatus

I just want to know, how much were you paid and how much was budgeted for this 'project'. Was the VI meeting as reported the only meeting? Look, Soludo stole your idea from where? Okonjo Iweala also stole your idea? And the whole OBJ economic team too? If i have a smart idea and i want it to fly, i first discuss it with my boss and he often insist that i present it in a meeting. You know what i do? I present it as a suggestion he made to me on an informal level during the meeting.

With the number of people claiming consolidation as their idea, i wonder whose idea it really is. Lets stop this nonsense and celebrate a true Nigeria product- B.SC, M.Sc and PhD all in UNN claiming the best graduating student in all. Yet a professor to many western University and research consultant to many world economic bodies. He got there too with some body's idea? Lets stop fooling ourselves, some people want the financial sector to be like what it was in IBB days and those are the guys crying kill Soludo.

Unlike many of the guys 'whose ideas he stole', that guy will earn double that digit if he leaves CBN today and still want to work in a formal sector. He's got the brain, the focus, the tenacity and the boldness to tackle difficult task, including convincing the overbearing OBJ on certain financial sector reforms.

Lets leave that guy alone!!

How much you say? You are sick in the heart. UNN indeed like i didn't go there too. May God turn your tomorrow into a wake up call because i see you only see what you want to see you live in your own fantasy.

If you want to find the truth i can give you more than enough directions to it but to post what you posted here is near unforgivable. May God help you in your truth.

@ Wiseguy: Tell that guy that as long as there is breath in my lungs i will bring him to book.
Politics / Re: Charles Soludo Makes 12 Million Naira A Year by Affalatus: 7:24am On Apr 03, 2009
People only know Soludo from the lies that have been placed in the media. I know Soludo better than his wife and even the president. If killing were not a sin i would kill him. He stands accused of stealing Nigerian funds i mean how can he explain spending a hundred times more than he earns. How come people the Nigerian people now tolerate fraud. How can someone whom earns 12 million Naira as basic Salary spend over 12 Billion Naira.

I wrote all the policies that worked within his tenure from 2004 and i parted ways with the devil around early 2006. This is a man that had redenomination presented in the OBJ days then rushed to start making 2 naira coins to steal the idea he did not understand after 2 naira coin failed he rushed back to the idea owner with inducement before he started the redenomination drive this is after i left this devil i was also not a part of the common year end for banks.

By the way i was not paid a dime and had my life threatened. Someone died and i still suspect Soludo so there that is my story.

I do not want to castigate anyone at this point. I do understand what the country is experiencing. Rebranding at this point is like telling a cancer patient at the height of chemotherapy with the pains and body chemistry changes associated that there is hope at the end of the tunnel.

Another angle to all this is this: The Greatest Professor of Marketing i know in Nigeria Professor. I. C. Achumba told me that the best way to destroy a bad product is to give it a very extensive, false and far reaching advertising as being wonderously perfect. Why? Because a trial will truly confuse and convince you.

Religion / Re: A Question For Tithe Payers by Affalatus: 6:48pm On Mar 06, 2009
Tithing is not christian in any way.

It is a perfect product of Judaism for Judaism in relation to the Order of Levites. And if you want to talk about Abraham and Melichezediak sorry wrong spelling i guess tell me what was given to the high priest and what he did with it. And why did Melichezediak not make it compulsory? Did Jacob pay tithe?

Did the apostles pay tithe after Christ died and rose? Remember Ananias and Serphrias wrong spelling again i guess.

Charity begins at home. What of the sick, those in prison and homeless? Do you tithe rather than help them? Give money to churches that build citadels of science, buy jet planes, contest for Priesdency and claim to have Miracles on tap on demand than to the wounded beggar at the gate of your homes.

May the Lord God bless you all as you read my text. He came to set the captives free but so called "men of Gpd" mordern day Pharisees bind those whom Christ freed with false dogmas. Remember those whom believe in a law are subject to that law and breaking that law would consist sin unto them even if it be spitting on the street.

Hear this all Isreal the lord our God the lord is one.

Politics / Re: Has Anybody Considered Ojo Madueke For President. by Affalatus: 6:32pm On Mar 05, 2009
You want an Igbo for President. Does it have to be a man? Is it a must the person must have wealth that cannot be accounted for? Is it a must that the person must come from a disgruntled minority within a particular tribe in order to foster ample room for divide and rule tactics?

Do Nigerians want Progress? If yes look for Progressive people with pragmatic ideas and credentials that border on the protection of the principle stated at a time by Marcus Cicero: The greater good of the people should be the chief law of the land.

As for me as an IGBO man if all the IGBOS in PDP suddenly died except Ojo Madueke i would still not want him anywhere near the candidacy for Presidence.

His has not shown for me the rugged scares of a true leader in the defence of truth, the upholdment of Justice or the projection of a greater hope for Nigerians as a whole or in sections except maybe his children and Kinsmen and i think i still need to interview them least they too are not happy with him.

Business / Re: Nigerian Economic Crisis: Who Should We Blame? by Affalatus: 1:39pm On Feb 05, 2009
The nigerian economy in crisis.

The SEC chief blames the banks for the current economic downturn and mainly for the stock market plunge. He blamed the ways the banks gave out loans and their way of raising money.

Lending is a vital part of every capitalist economy, but sometimes not paying back the loans can bring out the cons of a capitalistic system or a free market.

In Nigeria, 388 billion naira in such loans could not be recovered, why? Because mainly the loans where used to buy shares in the then thriving stock market and the colaterals used to borrow such loans where also stocks. In an event of any bear market, consumer confidence will plunge and a big sell out will make the market fall further thereby making the borrowed money depreciate with the stock prices and as the collateral also depreciates, this causes more kaos and panic. Even if the borrower sells the stocks, plus the stocks, he cannot pay back the loans and the banks are left with collateral in stocks that are almost worthless. In this kind of scenario, the borrower or investor loses everything and the bank too loses the money it lent out.

This is very similar to what happened in the US, only for what we have in Nigeria may be less stable and a bit more risky. there also, the crisis was ignited when people took mortgage, they couldnt pay back the money they borrowed for their homes, while the homes depreciated in value and they were forced to go into foreclosure. The lost their homes and the banks got stuck with real estate far less in value than the money the lent out to the home owner. The crisis hit the banks real hard that Government had to intervene and many people lost their jobs, many more their homes.

What we are seeing here in Nigeria could be worse than what there is in the US. why? Because the stock market is more volatile than the real estate or housing market, i.e a housing crisis could be a bit more stable than a stock market crash.

As a solution, we can see how the Government in America reacts to its crisis. If successful, we can borrow a few startegies and save the economy.

Also government can buy and hold a few stocks to reduce the amount of selling and dealing that causes the stock to plunge back as soon as they start gaining some ground and people start selling off again. the sec can also intervene and try and enforce a minimum holding period for some stocks so as to eliminate some trading done by investors to profit from turmoil like this.

The executives responsible for this shouldnt go unpurnished if the is proof of their wrong doing or carelessness.

At first, the Government officials thought that Nigeria was immune to the global economic crisis. I dont blame them, though I dont know why the thought so, but I also though we were immune to the crisis citing our growing revenues from crude oil sales. I thought we were heading into a boom like in india and china only that ours is not fuelled by manufacturing or information technology but by crude oil.

I did not expect the crude oil prices to fall back quickly and now we are stuck in a correction following the overvaluing and manipulation of share prices in the stock market.

Anyone knows where we are heading?

How about the loans given to indigenous oil firms that could not operate to full capacity or were producing with a target of $140 per barrel?

Business / Re: Naira Vs Dollar: The Crash Of A Pampered Currency? by Affalatus: 12:13pm On Feb 05, 2009
The Naira is being set to crash against the Dollar by Nigeria's reserve Bank the CBN as it claims it has to safe guard its Foreign exchange reserves. Nigeria looks set to face inflation from scarcity of international trade products and a drop in world wide production levels.
