i think they’re just trying to make headlines catchy. Medias have suffered a lot on false reports not relating to a particular news by exaggerating it. Rape! That’s too much.

However, I had another female acquaintance who was and is based in Lagos - so no excuses for aptitude tests - but wasn't informed of the many opportunities in the industry she was in. Meanwhile, I have another senior classmate who moved to Lagos, did his MSc at UNILAG and has worked in different corporations, and is doing very well. In a few years time, I believe he too will earn a million naira (the industry isn't that lucrative compared to finance or oil and gas). Yet again, I've another who moved to Abuja and got a sales role. Unlike the first three I mentioned, this lass had a second class lower, but she earns more than a million naira and got a company car and accommodation..

Two things characterise everyone: determination and location.

Everyone's destiny is in their own hands.

Determination and location change little or nothing at all with the male folks. From all you have said it’s clear as well! Same as myself, I can relate too. Most of my male friends after school (uni) are doing well as a result of backgrounds, the females asides background marriage and relationships raise them to ladders. If a beautiful and intelligent well dressed lady goes for an interview, her chances are high! Unlike the males, who send you!

As a man, if ones family ain’t well to do, chances are slim. Those who go into fraud is a result of this. Making by hook or by crook! Money no dey talk where e come from..!

A poor a man can affect many generations in poverty. It only takes God to help a man to escape economic woes if no family to help. Tis why guys fight hard to leave poverty in order not to stain coming generations…
