Edo people should decide who they want, no favoritism or fight of any kind. No sons or daughters of the politicians campaign or vote for their parents during elections, they are all in America or Europe enjoying and spending our money. They give them private exotic SUV all in the name of Governors, Senators or Presidents sons and daughters, fly on private jets while you that kill yourself still walk on foot and don’t even have a leaving. What is wrong with our youths of today?

I have never seen Leaders who are so good at being bad and very bad at being good. Adams Oshiomhole and his cronies are on the last lap of overwhelming defeat, after their previous enterprises were successfully frustrated. They would do anything now to stay afloat like a drowning man clutching at a straw.

In all of these, they have learnt a very cardinal lesson with the 'dethronement' of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by the Appeal Court. Yet again, another valuable lesson which upholds the sacrosanctity of competence, performance and character over monetary proclivities is brewing. Like it is said, if you hang around the barbershop long enough, sooner or later, you may get a haircut. The good people of Edo State are ready to give them a clean shave of defeat come Sept 19th!

Unarguably, one of the greatest events that has shaped recent human and global history and left an indelible mark on the course of history is the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the double year ‘2020’ is of course one that would readily ring a bell loud enough in the ears and minds of most people in this generation for many years to come especially those old enough to appreciate and experience the ravaging plague.

While governments the world over made good and largely commendable efforts at supporting their citizens to weather the unexpected storm and provide some measures of relief by making palliatives available and making life a little more easier for their citizens, most Nigerians were left to rue their fate in the hands of a non-existent government (officials) whose pristine interest is only wrapped around their selfish ends and personal pockets…we all know that for sure!!!

Anti corruption fight gave him a unique edge in his electoral victory over former President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election. Major news media worldwide sold his reputation around the globe as a hardy and stern fellow on the issues of indiscipline and corruption.

Hardly was there anyone who at some point was not compelled to buy into the reality of Buhari's growing pedigree, as even die-hard haters of his candidacy, had a momentary quiver in their resolve when confronted with evidence of the President's stiff stance against corrupt practices in his prior years of military rule.

You are right brother. This is what I equally tell others. But some people feel and say that covid-19 is a scam and they can't be infected, or if its real, it can only infect the rich. I don't know why people joke a lot with things that are dangerous and pose threat to their lives and living.

Someone should probably take a friendly message to Chief Bola Tinubu, advising him to stop interfering in Edo Politics, as it will indubitably send him, like his friend and partner in the 'revered' and 'hallowed' act of godfatherism, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, through the hollow path of political irrelevance, into an outright political oblivion.

He probably should do well in making inquiries from his ancestors, who on invitation, once historically came to this land, and having found it extremely difficult to rule, tagged the land 'Ile Ibinu', meaning 'a land of vexation', and then left the people in peace.

There is no time as vexatious as this, when the collective will of the people is at a precipice, standing stealthily upon the edge of a knife, as a result of the overbearingness of those who would stop at nothing to prevent things from being as the people wish them.

The people of Edo State will resist both internal and external invasion as they will never sacrifice a working and responsible government for one fuelled by thuggery and illegalities. The people are unwilling and unable to accept a retrogressive movement to the dark days of thuggery, impunity, violence, profligacy, recidivism and political rascality.
