Birth Story: long one, bear with me.

I just want to give all the glory to the Almighty God, for making me a mother again, because of situation surrounding my marriage I did not want a second baby instantly so I went for family planning have been on family planning since October 2018 till August 2020 that I discovered I was pregnant, I was in serious shock because I never miss my injection appointment. I just discovered I was unecessarily weak and I was craving for food I will not eat on a normal day e.g bitter leaf and eba. So the journey began.

I first bought the pt strip I saw the double line I told myself this is impossible immediately I took my self that same day to do scan and I heard I was 12 weeks gone grin

Telling hubby was hard because the condition we were in didn't warrant for us to bring forth a baby, still I had to tell him, he was shocked like how come but we move.

NO TWO PREGNANCY'S ARE THE SAME

from the day I discovered I was pregnant I had severe morning sickness ( Hyperemesis gravidarum) I had convulsion as if I will die the next minute, vomitted like no man's business, spitting and a whole lot of things, ending of second trimester I enjoyed a little bit but tiredness was on another level.

With my first baby I went to work till I gave birth, but with this second baby by 35th week I was tired, had serious leg issues that it was always hard to stand up and walk had to stop going to work at week 37, because every time I wake up I could not move my legs or do anything cry

COUNTING DOWN TO GIVEN BIRTH

Daddy sleeping
Baby sleeping
Mummy looking

Join me to Thank this Awesome God.

Baby came forth march 25th.

Waawu! Congratulations mama...I tap into fast and easy delivery.

Birth story. Its gonna be a long story grab your sit.
March 21st 2020 was our wedding day, before the wedding dh already has plans for baby already,we started trying immediately,my mum was already expecting she knows when I see my period and she will call around that time to ask how far,April,May,June, she kept calling and she was always disappointed,i was also scared cos I thought once it will just happen cos I married as a jjc.But I kept praying to God finally July came and I missed my period,dh came that morning nd I broke the news he was so happy and the journey started.
August 25 2020 my birthday I joined this platform when I saw red blood that morning as I woke up although it was not much but I was scared dh was on night duty when he came nd I told him with tears he was crying too I thought i had started loosing the baby gradually, immediately we went for scan I was about 8 weeks gone, the sinographer said there was no heartbeat I was searching online when I found this thread and joined,i asked questions about it and I could remember people here calmed me down by evening the blood had already stopped,i didn't go for scan again cos I was still having ms and it gave me hope.
First trimester was not too good,i had ms but not too much.
Second trimester was really my honeymoon stage I had energy, appetite I was working I was so strong dh will try to slow me down but I just always had the urge to work
Third trimester too was good until about 33 weeks when I started having serious backpain but I kept enduring,i had energy too I was still going to work till I delivered, ohhh I had heartburn too, ulcer resurfaced but I kept on moving.
Delivery day.
I was given injection and a tablet under my tongue. The pain was worth it,i saw my prince and I smiled. My baby boy came at 12:15am March 24th.I give God all the glory for the process.
Signing out from March 2021 team
Coming back maybe 2023 for my pink jet.

That's amazing. I pray for fast and easy delivery too. How's the big boy doing?

My birth story
My husband and I had been dating for 6 years but we broke up ate 2019 cos I felt he wasn’t been serious with his life and our relationship, so I moved on a month after to a worse fellow luckily my husband never gave up he was adamant about leaving me. Thank God for corona , early March he called it quits that he was done. I even deleted all his pictures and ours the start of lockdown he called me to spend the lockdown with him and I felt it was two weeks , so I went that’s how we rekindled our love again, lockdown ended I came out pregnant I wasn’t even aware till July. He said I planned it, I didn’t I guess it was Gods plan. He came to see my parents few months after and we set a date for our wedding. My labor room story , I know people here can remember me complaining about baby not coming forth I was excessively tired and just anxious to see my baby , so I booked an induction for the 15th which was a week after my first due date, I went for check up on Friday the 12th I was checked and the consultant said I’m 2.5cm dilated he will admit me and commence the induction at night . To be continued

See suspense again angry

It happens at times. I can't remember the week, for like two days my baby was not kicking like he should but i have heard it severally that it happens so I was not bothered. I only decided that if it continues till third day I will go for scan.
You can get the Doppler mama talks about or you should go for scan if there is no changes.

Is someone also in my shoes.Scan dates keep changing although baby is fine but I keep wondering what makes it change o.Its now April again. What to do o

I am.searching for the best emoji to use but I never see....hahahahahahaha
Just give me your EDD lemme register you in April jeje

On a serious note, don't mind scan but use your LMP, that's more accurate than scan. My last scan too extended my EDD but I am not bothered so far I know what my LMP says, which is more important.

So mamas, I went to a good private hospital today to register and the doctor that attended to me explained everything to me, from what he said

-malaria drug is just to prevent the baby from having malaria at birth, or treat the woman if she is having malaria or it's symptoms.
- no correlation between malaria and jundice
-there are two types of jundice but mostly what causes it is infection z ABO incompatibility and he mentioned few other factors too
-i can still treat malaria but not with fansidar

Safe delivery to us

Mamas,i have been a silent observer...i was jz forced to comment when i saw worries of mamas concerning malaria drugs and jaundice...I can never rubbish watever u were told to do during ur ante natal classes(as a matter of fact,it's important to adhere),they re ur caregiver, they can see u and know u..If ur doctor gave u anti malaria drugs, pls use it...my own point is Jaundice and Anti-Malaria drugs has no connection....Easy peasy delivery to everyone

Thanks we appreciate. When I was about 12 weeks or thereabout, I told the doctor that I was exposed to mosquitoes in my first trimester and that he should give me malaria drugs to prevent malaria, he asked if I have malaria symptoms and I said NO. He said there was no need but I can just take fansidar to make myself happy. Hearing that, I used my sense to decode that he was saying I don't need it since I was not having malaria.
I said this to buttress your point.
In fact another nurse told me last night that malaria and jundice are not related.
I guess the information we are exposed to in our various clinics are based on expertise and well we will all be fine jare

Probably the nurses wanted the pregnant women to take the malaria drugs too, hence the tales of jundice.

God bless u million times for this...was about writing this wn i saw ur input....Wondering where these mamas got their fact that malaria drugs should be taken compulsorily during pregnancy, even when u ain't having malaria...I don't take any malaria drug during my LOs pregnancy(why should i do when i have no malaria?)..and there was NO jaundice..

Wow! This comment just relieved me.
I can sleep well now. My hubby is A+ and I am also A+

Registering in another hospital won't make a difference though my own point of view.Ur lo will be fine o we were told at my clinic but I also thought it's when one have malaria and I had it twice so I used it the second time I vomitted after like 30 or 40 minutes I used the drug and I was ok afterwards.I wish mother's that have experience can talk about this.

I am changing hospital now because someone told me she used the place for her two kids and she is no longer using the place now because their negligence is too much...

We're doing great by the grace of God. pelvic pain is lipsrsealed Especially when walking and the frequent peeing too is not left out.

I noticed blood stain when I wiped after peeing yesterday morning and I thought I over did it but after some minutes that I checked back, I saw little blood stain in my pant. I changed and waited and kept on checking, wiped after peeing to see if anything changes but nothing happened since then. Though, I was forced to go to the hospital by my husband in the afternoon to complain and all they did was check my blood pressure and listen to the baby's heartbeat which they confirmed was perfect and then check my cervix and was asked to go for scan since the cervix was still closed, I jejely went back to my house.
Though, I'll be going for scan this morning

Mama, have you gone for the scan and what's the result. I am sure you are fine and LO is doing good too.

My pregnancy story

P.S: long post alert

I got married in July 2019, hubby and I already planned to wait for 6 months. Our reason was that we had a not too sweet and partial distance relationship. So we wanted to bond, enjoy and work on a family project before bringing children into the game.
As usual, two months later, MIL asked my husband what's up and he told her our plan, but mama vex no be here. She called my mum and whoever cares to talk to us, I won't blame her she is old and we are the first to get married even though hubby is the second son.
We den decided to give up on our plan and then plan to get pregnant.
Before we could say jack, I realized I was pregnant in November. I was shocked because that was the first sex we had without practicing withdrawal or pill(I used it just once).
I thank God and we didn't even inform anyone.
December came, and there was so much task for me, work and MIL's retirement. Three days to end December I started having serious cramp and I eventually lost the pregnancy. I would have died because the doctor even prescribed wrong drugs, but God used hubby to save me.

January, we went back to our base and I forgot about what has happened, then we waited for my period to show.
Five weeks later, AF showed and we started trying for another baby, but nothing happened until June.
July came and the situation had turned me to someone with just a prayer point, mehn! I prayed and I decided to watch my body closely to know when I am ovulating.
After I had been tracking my ovulation for a while, it helped me detect when it would start, and we started having sex every other day. On the day my ovulation was to end, it was Monday and I told hubby very very early in the morning that we should have sex, already we were having sex for a reason not pleasure, so that morning the sex was terrible because no one was interested. After about 1 hour of trying to make him cum, he eventually cum and we both relaxed. Deep down I knew I had done my part which was a great work, I then left it to God. A week later, I did a test and it was negative. My heart sank and I gave up on getting pregnant in July.
We travelled that same week and I went to a gynea in a repuatable hospital, he told me we are still a week to clock one year in marriage that he will shift my appointment to the following month, but he said something may happen before then, which I didn't believe.
I told him to give us drugs to treat infection first that probably I don't treat the first miscarriage well due to wrong prescriptions. He gave us drugs and asked my husband to come for test. Hubby's result was very fine and I was happy about it. The following day which I was supposed to start the drug I went to prayer mountain and I was there for complete three days to pray but I couldn't fast because of the drug I was taking.
The last day, hubby came and we had vigil together. When I was going I bought socks and used it to pray that my baby will wear it the following year and I also sow seed with all the money left with me.

When we got home on Saturday, I felt slight cramp and although I was expecting my period that day, I brought out my pad and felvin to ease the pain but my spirit told me not to use any drug yet that I should wait for the blood to show. I laid down and slept without feeling any cramp again till evening. Then, it occured to me that my AF doesn't behave like that, I called my SIL, who happened to be a nurse, I told her it's like I am pregnant she said I should wait till morning before doing a PT.

That was the longest day of my life, I couldn't sleep well, I was praying and waiting for day break. At around 4a.m, I did the test and alas, two deep lines grin

Chai! Immediately, I sent text message to my SIL(we were in the same house but different rooms).out of happiness, I messaged my dad, too, because when he visited in June he told me I would get pregnant in July, which I said Amen.
When it was morning, everyone started rejoicing. I called the gynea and he told me not to be too sure yet that I should come the following day(monday, 27th july, our first wedding anniversary). When I got there, I had a blood test and it was positive too. This, pregnancy is our first year wedding anniversary gift from God. God heard my pleas and cries.
Few days later, I started having cramps, I called the gynea and he placed me on duphaston, which I used throughout the first trimester.

First trimester: I had strong nausea, I eat well but my sense of smell was on another level. I couldn't work or do much things, I got tired easily but God took control, and we travelled back to our base since we were waiting to avoid losing the pregnancy. Also, we didn't have sex for 6 months, according to doctor's warning.

Second trimester: terrible indigestion started, but I was very strong and healthy. I could work and slay very well. Likewise, I was glowing like halogen oven grin

Third trimester : we are 38 weeks now. indigestion is now bearable, I was working but stopped last week due to tiredness. I am still glowing and slaying grin. I still have energy and we are doing fine to the glory of God. Just frequent peeing, Braxton Hicks and pelvic pains. As you can see, I am awake due to the frequent peeing wink

By the grace of God, I will come back here to share my BS.
Thanks mama zaynie for giving us the privilege to share our pregnancy story. May God bless the TTCs. Amen
