Travel / Re: Pls I Need Reliable Travel Agent That Can Help With Canada Working Permit by africaflozy(f): 8:44am On Oct 26, 2021
You can't get it through agent...you need to read extensively about how it works and follow the right steps to make it work.
Else you will continue to waste your money on scammers called agent.

My friend introduced me to one agent when I told him I wanted to try my luck with canada. The agent said they have a special package. He said he will process visit Visa for us, I said ok when we get there what next. He said it depends on us but immediately we are back we will start processing PR.

I dropped the call and started laughing. If I had not read and understood how things work I could have thought he is right and just waste money like that.

See good things don't come easy.
Shalom!

So far Cameroon will make u a RN on completion, ill say its a great idea. Believe me looking for RN up and down after a successful BSc is a headache.

BTW, I tried replying u but "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:" that's the response I got.

Ok thanks!
Update! A lady is in uk presently working as a RN!
She studied in phillipines, wrote NCLEX and that's what she is using to work in UK. She said she didn't come back to Nigeria at all.
Case closed.

Even with PhD you will still need a Nigerian license.
You cannot enroll into a masters in nursing without a license or work with any nursing certifications without a license

Chai! Someone said NCLEX is like an international license that I won't need Nigeria license if I have NCLEX.
Is this true?
Thanks

Cameroon: Start with HND which u can use to work...later travel and work then run BSc( online/on campus)

Cameroon doesn't look at your background ie whether/not u have Science background... If u plan to do MLS then, they will check if u have a Science background maybe Chemistry or Physics

I think this is a good idea .
Can you recommend a school in Cameroon where I can have the HND in nursing. Do you have idea if the tuition and how many years is the HND?

Can I dm you?

If you have money I'll advise you try some other countries. Prolly Europe. Philippines is good. And their certificate Is well recognised in western countries. Only problem is that after the 4years bsc, you won't be allowed to take the licensure exam. U either come back to Nigeria for a 6mths adaptation + 1yr internship Prog so u can become a registered nurse or you move on to other countries using masters to enter.
Philippines is affordable and the education good. So you just have to weigh your options.

Thanks very much.
Since their Certificate is recognized and their program is great then I will go for it and use MSc to move to another country.

If I use MSc to enter another country do I still need Nigeria license or I can just get the license from the country.
For instance, when I finish masters in UK or canada or US can I write their exam to get license instead of coming to Nigeria.
Thanks

I don't know how is done in Philippines sha, A graduate of Accounting 2011 set, I'm 33years, married and with my 3year old daughter here, hubby dey Nigeria and Schooling in the Caribbean, All Saints University School of Medicine Dominica, We run three semesters per year, I'm in my 7th semester that's (400level first semester) started last year January but jumped to semester three in May 2020 because i submitted my University transcript late if not I would be graduating this December. Is the normal four years (Semester 1-8 if you are using waec (2years and eight months), if you are already a graduate before and have your transcript you go into Semester 3-8 (2years). The semester 1-2 is like doing Pre-health. Chat me up for more details.
N/B: School fees after scholarship is 3040USD per semester or (9590usd or 9120USD per year). You can decide to pay yearly or per semester, the choice is yours. Licensure exams is taken twice a year, April and October(You can work in any Caribbean country with your license). After that you can go ahead and take your Nclex. Good luck

Wow! I would have love this o but the fee is high.

Thanks

Please, advice is needed...
I will appreciate your advice here. Thanks!!!

I am 30 and I am about to enrol for BSc in Nursing. Four years program in phillipines.
I want to know if I should go for it, like considering my age. I am Married and husband is very supportive.
Is there any reason why I should not consider phillipines and if yes, kindly recommend any other country.

Note, I don't have science background to apply to any school of my choice in any country that's why I am considering phillipines.

At EMU students don’t pay for quarantine room—it is FREE. In general, when you reserve your room you will be sent to your room to get quarantine since is your room that your have reserved or paid so nothing like paying.

Also, EMU already have some special dormitories for students to take care of such.

If your are coming to EMU, ensure you fill the pre-arrival form online, have your dormitory sorted and EMU representatives will collect you from airport and also follow up

http://orientation.emu.edu.tr/

Oga wip,welldone.
Please, I have few questions about EMU.
I want to come for Masters program without thesis and i selected the 50% scholarship offer, then I used their calculator to get the tuition fee for my course, what I got is 2.296USD. is that the whole tuition for my 1.5years program or just a course?
2) I don't know much about Cyprus but can I work while I study, even if it's menial job?
3) can I travel with my family, husband's is a freelancer so he can work anywhere
4) is the school recognized?
5) what's the standard of living there and is it a place we can easily adapt to?

My questions are much, I am sorry.
Thanks in advance

Good afternoon Sirs and MAs.
Please I am about the embark on Canada express entry journey with my husband and 6months old baby.
Here are my questions:
1) how long does the process take, I am considering the Manitoba Provincial nomination program of skillled workers overseas.
2) Do I have to go ahead with the provincial nominee application before the express entry or vice versa or I will start the two together at once. I am confused here
3) is there a way one can get job offer in Canada to process the express entry, because the person that one to nominate us is not sounding serious.

I will really appreciate replies. Thanks

She is trying to draw sympathy from female viewers but this lie is senseless.

Culture / Is There Anything You Are Greatful For About Nairaland? by africaflozy(f): 7:00pm On Aug 07, 2021
Nairaland has done me well in many ways. Here are the ones I can remember for now:

1) I joined nairaland in 2013, when I was planning to further my education. I saw the thread for the Uni I wanted to attend and met other aspirants there, uptill today one of them is not just a friend but a brother.

2) I met my husband here in 2017 grin

3) I have had the opportunities to work for some people here, and no cause for regret.

4) I was blessed with a token by a woman I didn't even know. In fact I don't know the criteria she used to select me, because I was not aware of the giveaway.

5) my pregnancy journey was smooth, thanks to the pregnancy thread.

Please, share yours.
