Romance › Re: I Need Help On What To Do Please. by AfricanApple(f): 11:15am On Dec 12, 2014 |
the ability to recover is in your hands. it is a choice you have to make: move on and enjoy your life or stay back and live miserably
is it possible to love another than yourself? if you truly love yourself then you will not let anyone, not even your parent destroy you and your self esteem with selfishness
whenever you are going into any relationship always have it at the back of your mind that anything could happen at anytime.
besides you are still young, get up and use your time to achieve something, set a pace for yourself, start saving umbrellas for the rainy days instead of dying untop a man who might not give a damn about you
but dear lady, do not overlook the reasons why he broke up with you. check yourself and amend the amendables so that the same stone will not trip you twice
live and love dear |

Celebrities › Re: I Am The Sexiest Man In Nollywood - Benson Okonkwo [pictured] by AfricanApple(f): 10:01am On Dec 12, 2014 |
this dude just abused the word sexy but at least he said one truth Until the gay movies came along you weren’t really popular… You know Nigerians and their mentality. A lot of Nigerians are Hippocrates; they enjoy Indecency but pretend about it. It is not like I am supporting the injection of Indecency into Nollywood but what I am saying is that we should stop pretending and I am going to be very blunt about this because I love saying my mind no matter whose ox is gored. These Nigerians have Indecency on their phones and they enjoy all these things behind closed doors but then, they come out and criticise us. Please Nigerians, the movies I did were just movies; I was only acting. This is Benson Okonkwo and I am talking straight. I am an actor and my ability to interpret any role given to me is what makes me the Benson Okonkwo that I am today. take a look at maheeda, when she was a gospel singer, she wasn't popular but after she started doing indecency stuffs, suddenly everyone started calling maheeda. can someone pls answer this question: is hypocrisy part of our culture |

Politics › Re: Its Official, Atiku Congratulates Buhari by AfricanApple(f): 8:28am On Dec 12, 2014 |
Matthewbriggs: Develop it ... Let it be your turf. One of the problem with Nigerian politics is that over the years smart people have ran always from politics leaving it for touts. With your similar excuse. Its high time technocrats starts taking politics serious if not they will watch as their hardwork is been brought to the ruins by clueless agberoes.
Now the difference between political argument and any other argument in other sections you visit is that politics argument are more issue and fact based ... Your argument should appeal more towards logic and less influenced by emotion or biase.
Also be ready to be attacked ... You must therefore have a very thick skin and be able to logically defend your opinion.
The first step is to understanding Nigerian politics is start by from the past. Do deep background research on key political actors, parties, and Nigerian's political history... Get their back story this would enable you have a strong idea of the context of the current issue in discuss. Also follow current political events shaping the nation keenly.
Its okay to be biased, just defend your stance with hard fact and figures instead of conjectures.
You would be fine.
Also one last advice ... You need to understand how propaganda works ... Because politicians thrive on it.
wow!! I learnt one today |
