Yujin: I know you're angry but you must try and calm down. Look at the bigger picture and see the mistake Edwin Clark is making. Any member of any association is qualified to head it as long as he is competent whether it be in the NDDC, SS exclusive governors association or whatever. Inclusivity should be the right direction and not some parochial sentiment. Honestly, I'm disappointed in Edwin Clark for making this comment. I thought we've learnt from our past mistakes but clearly, we are still neck deep in that mess. South South as a geopolitical region isn't Niger Delta as a geographical region. Some states in the SS don't have wetlands and aren't even close to the delta of the River Niger. How then do you call them Niger Delta states? Remember, no emotion just plain geography and common sense. You are a joke.. Anyone indeed.. Was it not recently Abians were complaining that they don't want an Anambra man as Mayor of Abia? There is a conceptual Niger Delta, a geographical Niger delta, and a political Niger Delta. You can argue your lines based on the context you are using it. |

Armaggedon: Idiot..If we want to follow it geographically, then there will be nothing like South South. Most states of the South South are geographically not Niger Delta.
The Niger Delta region consist only of Bayelsa state, the riverine area of Rivers state and the warri area of Delta state. The largest city in Niger Delta region is warri not Portharcourt.
Upland rivers (including Port Harcourt) Delta north in Delta state, Cross River, Edo and Akwa ibom are not part of the Niger Delta region.
The crafty old man wants to define Niger Delta region in a half -correct fashion that includes all south south states, knowing full well that if the non Niger Delta regions of the south south are excluded, they will lose claim to majority of crude oil deposits in the country. He wants a Niger Delta region where Igbo speaking people and other ethnic groups will produce oil while his ijaw will have the loudest claim. You are bastardd, is ur Ohaneze elders that are stupiiid, and idiota... He stated the facts. But sentiments will.not allow you reason it. |

H28Africa: To be completely honest with you,
It depends on the type of house you want to buy.
Most times, the down-payment is usually 30% of the actual cost of the property.
For some people this is where they get stuck - raising their down-payment.
And this is one of the things we help people to do on our platform.
On our platform, you can create a savings plan and save towards your down-payment.
But for people who already have their down-payment and an active NHF account, the process is pretty straightforward - within 6 to 12 months, you can buy your dream home.
Please don't forget to register for the event ==> https://lu.ma/0s1jaegx
We will discuss this extensively. I will discuss with you. |

Most people don't know that every Nigerian, no matter how much they earn, can qualify for the NHF loan.
We would love to see you at the upcoming live event on the 2nd of September.

I was picking sense to what you submitted until the part you said they behave like they have God on speed dial. Let me sort one thing for you, there is a level of respect I give myself, and a level of dignity I hold dearly simply because I have strong faith in God that he won't fail me. In your canal view, you think death is the end of everyman. Let me tell you, the only reason you mock them is because you're ignorant of the life after earth. Have you asked yourself what if perhaps, God took them because he has a different assignment for them in another world, country, place, state, family? or what if God took them because he has a special task for them? or what if God took them because he just want them to rest? |

Balogunodua: I understand what you are saying...but the official dollar rate as of now will have minimum effect on the people. It in report that 75% of Nigeria importers source their forex from black market which is very high even more than the official rate of now. So this policy will definitely not have much negative effect after all. You forgot the long run and raw material part.
For the bold...majority of Nigerians do not make purchase online infact I'll say 70% of Nigerians don't do it..And for those who do, they don't get it at cheap rate like the official at rate then. So no need to worry about the money in your account, our PPP as of now is still stable. |
Business › Re: Naira Float: Dangote, Abdulsamad Rabiu Lost $5.85bn, Say Bloomberg Index by Afriifa(m): 3:48pm On Jun 16, 2023 |
Balogunodua: Ok... What is right about the nonsense he wrote?
How does dollar rate affects my bank account in Nigeria?
How does my 500,000 reduce to 300,000 in my first bank account cuz of dollar rate? Is simple, although he may not get the exact arithmetic but his submissions are not far from what is visible in public. A rise in dollar to naira automatically communicates a fall in the value of the Naira and by extension a fall in what you have in your bank account. This is because Nigeria is an import dependent state. Meaning, in such an event, you may need to trade more naira for a dollar in other to be able to acquire the same items that you had previously acquired in the previous state. Take for a an example, you wanted to purchase a foreign item on Aliexpress at the fee of say $56, you add the iterm to ur cart when a dollar to naira equaled 500 naira. Thus, $56 equals to 56×500= 28,000 naira. Meaning ur planned budget was 28,000 naira for the item. With the recent development it means the Naira as depreciated against the dollar that's why people like Dangotte as lost more wealth.. This means dat dollar rate must ve risen to 600-700 naira. In this event, the item you had in mind will be sold for 36,600-39,200.. So if you had 200k in ur bank account prior to this incident, using the hypothetical rate calculated above, ur the value of ur 200k now should be around 142k in the foreign market.. N there is no way this will not reflect in the local market in the long run, because we virtually import a lot if not finished goods, raw materials. |

They are far better than tecno, infinix, etc.
Have been using my Redmi Note 9 since 2020, and I have not repaired it once or have any problems with it.
I'm even using it without a screen guard but if you see the phone, you will think is 3 months old.
