I wonder what the Nigerian institute of economic surveyors (NIESV) and some ordinary surveyors are doing about this. Some of them discourage land sales, frustrate property developers and estate agents because of mere c of o and divert Land clients and subscribers to their own advantage even when they know that the client's initial diverted choice of Land is not a committed Land, has a gazzeted C of O, C of O under processing e.t.c.. Where they divert their client might not even be documented not to talk of being registered. The prestige of been a property Lawyer and a member of NIESV is indeed an economic advantage. But the remaininig 3% might be the result of long leg and not just awarded like its worth it compared to the remaining 97% |
