Na wah o. You get long memory grin

The guy is using his usual pin hole camera view to absolve people like the Glazers and other board members (especially Ed Wayward) of blame, like say those ones are just there to collect salary and do nothing.

When Fergie met Pep he had not yet decided to retire as his wife's sister had just died a few months earlier. It was later in the 2nd half of the season that Fergie decided that he could not be away from his wife for much longer and would retire at season's end but by that time Pep had signed pre-agreement with Bayern. Pep was Fergie's first choice, but he didn't push hard enough.

There were even reports that Mourinho was Fergie's 2nd choice but Bobby Charlton who was still very influential at that time kicked against it. Even when Mourinho was finally appointed, Charlton had to be cajoled to accept.

Let us accept, for the sake of argument that Fergie dropped the ball by not pushing hard in a timely manner for Pep, what is the job of all the other management and board who were chopping money on a regular basis and abdicated their own responsibilities. The evidence that most of them were clueless can be seen by the way everything went to shyte the minute Fergie retired.

Appointing Moyes was a very bad phuck-up that Fergie bears huge responsibility for sha. That was his biggest mistake. Followed by not keeping Tevez and selling Jaap Stam.

I think they just weren't cut out for monarchial rule.
They were excellent as Sharifs, viceroys to a Sovereign.
As standalone Masters of their fate, they fall embarrassingly short.

Every noble aspires to royalty.
It was atrocious of the House to finally get the opportunity after waiting patiently for 1,000 years and then act like the crown was too heavy.

-Lord

You might be right, but I think if they had consolidated their energy and forces in one area like Ibn Saud instead of trying to rule the entire Middle East, things might have turned out better for them.

You have to remember that that had no direct links to most of these countries they were trying to rule. One son just appeared in Syria one day and told them he was their king. Their only real roots were in the Western portion of Arabia.

If the Sharif had consolidated his efforts in the Hejaz and Jordan and placed power in the hands of his 2nd son (with the others supporting) they might have held on to power in the Arabian peninsula.

Instead, he spread them thin and handed Hejaz to his incompetent eldest son. As it stands the descendants of the 2nd son are still holding on to power in Jordan.

Didn't want to correct him on that.
The ME is one weird filial soup.
Easy to make errors.

The Hashemites are a spectacular failure by the way and have not changed tack.
The Jordanian branch will meet a spectacular end and I hope that's the last we hear of that dynasty.
They need to go the way of the Bourbons.

-Lord

They exploited their initial advantages as the Sharifs of Mecca and supposed descent from the Prophet Mohammed’s family but then they overreached and overstretched themselves.

The Qatari issue is brothers spat between House of Saud

Saudi, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Jordan are all aligned. House of Saud inherited monarchy in all those countries plus Iraq and Syria but they got deposed in Iraq by strong men and by the French in Syria. Na normal tinz

But last last, Gaddafi tried to kill them, and they killed him. The game is the game

Only Saudi is under House of Saud. The other countries have different ruling families.

It is the Hashemites that ruled Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and even parts of Saudi Arabia (before House of Saud kicked them out).

There are many people who were connected to Diddy and probably hung out with him that will get stained

Preachers Politicians, Business execs, community leaders like the females around Diddy, are envious but cannot do these openly, But when they get invited to these Diddys freak outs they can enjoy what they cannot do on their own because of their positions

Now if these people get outed there will be a lot of blood and scandal

That is why there is relative silence from celebrities about the case. Many of those who attended his parties know they are guilty while most of the rest are still racking their brains trying to remember what scandalous thing they did while inebriated at those parties.

Everybody is trying to maintain radio silence, so they won't come to the attention of the government.

One of the traits of a good goal scorer is being selfish. I don't understand the fuss about Madueke being selfish. You all should tone down your criticism and let him have his way for now. If only Hazard was a little more selfish maybe he would have lifted more trophies with us and won balon d'or.

A player has to strike a balance. There is a level of selfishness that a player will exhibit that people will start wondering whether it is not selfishness but defective thinking i.e stupidity.

I am not a Chelsea fan but i was in sifia pains yesterday after one of Madueke's non-passes.

He said it is a new season as if to say it is too early to be worried or start demanding improvements. I made reference to Maresca and Slot to let him know that it is them who should be talking the early days, seeing that they're new on the job, and not Bin Laden, who's here as manager for the 3rd season running.

I don’t want to use that Maresca or Slot example because it is a double edged sword.

If they start performing poorly now, ETH fans will use them as examples of why ETH deserves more time.

I want us to judge him based on Man Utd standards. Apart from Moyes I have always been ready to give a new manager the 1st season as bedding in time but once it gets to 2nd or 3rd season, you have to start delivering.

Mourinho had excuse of poor transfer support in his 3rd season and Ole had the excuse of shortened preseasons and still finished 3rd and 2nd in the league.

Our friend is running out of excuses. There is no excuse for not making Top 4 this season while playing exciting football.

The wasted 2nd season is majorly his fault.

Nobody is drawing up comparison except that some fans here make unnecessary excuses for the failures of Bin Laden. I brought up Slot earlier and Maresca to show you can manager come in and work with what is available and deliver and if they don't, they'll get fired.

Bin Laden won't last this long at Chelsea.

Wetin dem don deliver?

It is too early to mention them cos they have not delivered anything.

And you definitely drew comparisons between them.

The comparison is also a false equivalence especially with regards to Slot because what is available in each situation is different.

If Slot and Maresca start struggling now and take 2-3 years to settle will you accept if ETH fans use that as an excuse to keep giving him more time?

ETH should be judged based on the standards expected of a Manchester United manager.

ETH has done enough by himself to lose his job, without comparing him to any new manager who might still turn out to be a fraud.

He deserves criticism on his own inept performance.

Diddy most likely stepped on some powerful toes.
They're are basically humiliating him at this point...if e die na pesin kill..he doesn't look suicidal at all.

Exactly. That suicide watch sounds more like ground work by his frenemies.

I suspect he is not the biggest fish they are trying to fry, he just happens to be the one that knows where all the bodies are buried.

It looks like he is doomed sha. He either stays silent and goes to jail for a very long time or tries to snitch and get stitched.

A guy like Diddly won’t be suicidal.

That news has been put out either by his team to make him a sympathetic figure OR by the powers that be who are in danger, so that if he is found dead they can claim he killed himself.
