fatherfaith: i also don't want to beliv him, bt if it true, then i suspect a foul play.
This simply means the whole recruitment process was just a mere formality, nothing credible about it. The nigerian factor still came into play. I had my doubts the moment they started sending SMS's to some ppl because I remember back then on this thread when some said at least most people interviewed were likely gonna be called but it turned out about half of the number or less. Well, its high time one moves on with his life and put off his mind from this job. If its yours, they'll definitely call on you.

I've been hearing it on radio before now, for the past one month COSON has been announcing it. They claim that the musicians have been charging them too high for airplay on their stations and will soon stop airing their songs. Well let's wait and c

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Cardiff Vs Arsenal (0 - 3) On 30th November 2013 by afrokid(m): 7:16am On Dec 01, 2013
nerodenero: Finally, nobody dies whenever Ramsey scores again. Just maybe Arsenal is ripe for Premiership title again. Anyway, if Arsenal survives December, then they are on course.
Actually, paul walker (fast and furious) just died, no disrespect to him though.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Gvapartners by afrokid(m): 5:47am On Dec 01, 2013
Xtaceeey: He/She told u wrongly den.. All call centre jobs ar shift jobs. U work sum days, sum nyts nd sum off.. Dats why u can call customer care @ 1am nd sm1 wud pik it. So why wud dey nt b shift? U wan do 24hrs?

Go and ask her well again
If u want to prove ur point, at least u don't have to take it personal because your last statement seems to be rude. I asked the nature of the job and the man said its not a 24 hour job. They said they need will give the customer care operators between 200-500 numbers to call and collect data and will be under a supervisor. He even said we might be working under long hours e.g. 6am-6pm. So its not the normal customer care job ur thinking. So my dear friend ask before u tell someone to go ask well!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: A Job In Lagos For N55,000 Or A Job In Abuja For N70,000 For A Lagos Resident? by afrokid(m): 10:49pm On Nov 27, 2013

Jobs/VacanciesRe: A Job In Lagos For N55,000 Or A Job In Abuja For N70,000 For A Lagos Resident? by afrokid(m): 10:45pm On Nov 27, 2013
baffylander: Well my dear KID, ur doubts are unfounded as i am currently residing in abuja and have been for almost seven years...i have lived in maitama, wuse 2, sauka (airport road) and lugbe as a corper earning peanuts and as a full time employee and still stand by my point which is a salary of 70k does nothing and when i mean nothing, i mean nothing...u need to work, earn money
and survive on same before you air opinions here.
I know quite a number of people who earn double of the OP's proposed salary who are willing to run out of the FCT at the slightest chance.
OP...its still your call, however reason am well..no be only accommodation expensive for abuja, everything is!
Y will u not stand by your point? Look at those places u mentioned, I guess u have an eye for politics because I'm very certain that a place like maitama and even wuse are for people earning very high or better say politicians, there are cheaper places like maraba, yanya, etc, where u can earn ur money and still save, so forget the '7 years' story
Jobs/VacanciesRe: A Job In Lagos For N55,000 Or A Job In Abuja For N70,000 For A Lagos Resident? by afrokid(m): 10:37pm On Nov 27, 2013
safarigirl: does the job in Lagos come with accommodation? Does the job in Abuja come with a car? What is the distance from the house to the office in Abuja? Will there be available water or you'll have to buy water? Bros chill before rushing cuz of the input of a few. Transport and feeding are high in Abuja, you could exhaust 70k in 2 weeks sans rent here.
Big lie, except ur a reckless spender. Ah ah!

SportsRe: Manchester City To Sign Kelechi Iheanacho by afrokid(m): 11:48pm On Nov 26, 2013
nijanigga: Wrong move, Man city have no history of grooming young talents, they spent too much money buying the "big guys" so there is pressure to win laurels, no coach will give any rookie chance to play competitive matches. Even Arsenal that are known for grooming young talents, today only have Gnabry as the only academy playing breaking into their first team. I would rather go to FC Porto than Man city. But hey, the father want quick bucks, Nigerian mentality, quick bucks, fast money. The man might be eyeing some big house or big party or new car.
Can u tell me which academy the likes of wilshere and gibbs come from if u say only gnabry broke into the first team from arsenal 1st team?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: A Job In Lagos For N55,000 Or A Job In Abuja For N70,000 For A Lagos Resident? by afrokid(m): 11:21pm On Nov 26, 2013
baffylander: Please, please and please, dey lag jejely..forget the accommodation provided in abj, its expensive to survive but....(of course there ia always a but) if you have/ will have time for extra runs, u could consider abj...anything below 150-200k with no time for extra runs is manageable..
Just an opinion of a hustler..
I doubt if you've ever been to abuja because people with lesser salaries there still live fine and the only expensive thing, accommodation, has been taken care of.

Music/RadioRe: Father 'U' Turn Is Dead by afrokid(m): 10:20pm On Nov 17, 2013
Wow! Death is just inevitable, I remember father u-turn back then in the 90's when dancehall music was seriously reigning with him and others like daddy showkey, daddy fresh, papa fraiyo, etc. Father U-turn had a couple of hit track then such as african culture, shakara, amebo and yetunde.
Such a pity he died at a very young age for someone who started so early in life.
Such is life, RIP Father U-turn.
