Those countries you cited has no reason to use fuel to run their generating set.

Imagine you want to buy some litres of fuel asap but the thoughts of trekking / walking to get same will be frustrating esp if there is no car to transport you.

Distance apart is still feasible.

Even at that Adesege,filling stations shouldn't be built close to residential or commercial areas.
Have you thot about the series of havoc that has been done as a result of this?
Go to Orile igammu(along Bale street,by Oja bus stop) in Lagos state,a mobile filling station stands there shoulder to shoulder with people's houses .
The lives/properties preserved by building these fuel stations in secluded places is much and far important than lives/properties to be damaged when these fuel station stations are built close by all for the sake of convenience of not trekking a long distance to buy fuel.
If there are proper plans in place,the masses will be provided with transport or safe route access to these fuel stations .
Life first!

I think safety measures should be put in place instead. E.g There is no fire service in the area.

Also, there should be some distance apart between a fuel station and residential buildings.

Why should filling stations be built around residential areas?
I do agree with tizzle,filling stations are not supposed to be built around commercial or residential areas...they should be built in secluded locations ...in the western/european world,its quite rare u see filling stations built close or meters away from residential and commercial areas.

Self employment is another interesting job trend

African ladies returning natural is taking headlines around the world even though some consider it quite a dirty and hectic venture but the south African president,Jacob Zuma seem to appreciate the natural hair revolution as he encourages black women to love and appreciate their kink natural hair just the way it is.
He further advice's they should avoid straightening their natural hair with chemical relaxers.
