FamilyRe: My Wedding Was Stoped By My Husband Because Of His Friend's Death by agabaI23(m): 11:56am On Jul 17, 2010
I can understand where you guys are coming from but we are talking about a man, his wife and a man's friend here.

Do you guys understand the shame and the emotional wreck that goes with cancelled weddings on the woman's side?

He is supposed to be his wife's best friend. His wife should come before any other and her happiness uppermost.

Yes he lost someone albeit very close but his wife stands a chance of going into labour and possibly dying because of the stress of cancelled wedding and on top of that he slapped her.

Fine even if he was not in the mood to go on with the wedding, why not tell the wife and insist on that?

What he could have done would have been to go on with the wedding in a low key manner. Everyone would understand. The important thing to the lady was that the wedding was done. I would have questioned her insensitivity if she was mad that the hubby did not dance well in the wedding.

A low-key and short ceremony would ave sufficed.  slapping your woman because she begged for  a wedding to go ahead is hugely uncalled for.

He lacks maturity is what I think. He could slap a call girl but not his wife.

I am surprised some girls here are calling her insensitive.

My ex wife Jennykadri has it on point though.

So what do you advise with the baby in her tommy ? undecided
Big father it is difficult you know but then, the man can as well beat her to the extent she might lose the baby before birth.

The truth is that I hate a man that lays a hand on a woman who is not Jackie Chan's cousin.

big father:
It is really sad to lose someone close to you and most especially when the friend was on his way to your wedding, though i really blame your husband for slapping you and i guess this was due to over reaction. Since he has realised his mistake, i feel you should go ahead and marry him, considering that fact that you ar carrying his baby.
Best of luck !
He is a man and is expected to be in control of his emotion if he was gonna get a woman into his home.

' A story has it that a man told his father that he was comfortable to marry because he had a big barn, big farm, his own house and all the material wealth and has come of age chronologically.

The father did not say anything but he bought a a goat and gave to the son to look after.

Episode 1: The goat eats some yam in guys barn and he was mad and beat the hell outa of the goat. Father said nothing
Episode  2: Goat uses its tethar to pull down a bucket of water meant for his shower in dry season. he beat the goat again. Father said niothing
Episode  3: Goat uses its tether to pull down a pot of soup he was preparing to eat with after a hard days job. The guy used his cutlass to cut off the goats heat at once. It let out a high pitch cry that attracted the father.

When the father arrived the scene, the head of the goat was severed from the body.

He told the son, ' Women do worse things. Is this what you are gonna do to someones daughter?'

He slapped a woman
He slapped a pregnant woman
He slapped his wife
he slapped his pregnant wife.

Has he been always like that?

A man should be able to shoulder the pressure that comes with life and still act rationally.

You have to consider a lot of things here before you make your next move. But, he is not coming across to me as someone you can live happily with.

BARCELONA insist they do not care if they have to wait to sign Cesc Fabregas.
The Catalan giants are desperate to nab the Arsenal skipper but have seen the trail run cold.

Arsene Wenger is refusing to play ball with Barca and the Gunners have already have knocked back a £29million bid.

But Nou Camp president Sandro Rosell said: "Fabregas WILL arrive, even if it is not now, it will be next year. We will see.

"One thing that is certain is that we will not go mad trying to sign him. No shareholder would pay £60m for him.

"We will not go all out for him. We would only pay his value in the transfer market.
"

The Gunners were left with a bloody nose when Fabregas told the club he wanted to quit for Spain.

And Rosell added: "Arsenal feel very hurt by Barca.

"They don't want to listen to offers or sell and they are not putting Fabregas on the market.

"There was a strong dispute a few months ago and they have not forgotten it."

I think that is disrespectful and it shows how much they value him.

I was having this conversation with my cousin on whether she is considered a Nigerian or not. She was born and raise in the States to Nigerian parents. Doesn't speak their language neither has she been to Nigeria. To her when a Nigerian asks her where is she from? She considers it a trick question. If she says she is American or from America they will say she denying what/where her parents are/are from. If she says she from Nigeria, they question her ability to speak her parents language and the fact that she never been to Nigeria. So they will call her a typical American.

To me if both parent are Nigerian then you Nigerian regardless if you have not been there or don't speak the languages. Yet where you were born and raise is where you are from. Agree?

If you are a product of two Nigerian parents yet you were born and raise outside of Nigeria are you Nigerian?

If you are a product of two Nigerian parents and born outside of Naija are you from Nigeria or from wherever you were born.
Nigerian by birth.

Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Justice Minister, Michael Aondoakaa, has denied media reports that he has been banned from entering the United States. An online publication had reported that the entry visa of the former justice minister who is on an international assignment with the United Nations has been revoked.

It also reported that a foreign account in South Africa, with staggering sum of $44 million, belonging to the former AGF had also been frozen.
Reacting to the report yesterday in Abuja through his special assistant (media), Mr. Onov Tyuluugh, the former justice minister dismissed it as unfounded.

Aondoakaa who told journalists that his entry visa to the United States remains intact, said: “I have not been banned from entering the United States and I have my visa intact. Secondly, none of my relatives has a student visa to the United States as claimed by a media report. Therefore, the US Government cannot revoke what they did not issue.

“The publication is a great misconception of how the US State Department works. The issue of revocation of visa of any foreigner, including student visa, cannot be a matter for the President of the US, who is considered to be the leader of the world. It is a matter of State Department which ends on the table of the Secretary of State.”
He also denied that a sum of $44 million belonging to him in a South African bank was allegedly frozen, submitting that he has no such account and has never visited the country.

“I have no single bank account in the United States or any foreign bank account anywhere in the world, including South Africa. I have not visited South Africa throughout my lifetime. The allegation of freezing $44million transaction and linking me with it is an April Fool story. I have not done any transaction with anybody anywhere in the world.”

He expressed surprise that the United States, which endorsed his candidature and gave him maximum support when he was nominated into the Governing Council of the United Nations, was now being linked with a spurious allegation of visa denial.

“My being a member of the Governing Council of a UN body was through an election and the U.S. Government voted for my candidature. There was an agreement sent by Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry to all countries, including the U.S. before I was elected. The US Government supported and voted for me during the election in 2009 in Rome. Apart from the US, France, Britain, Germany and all the superpowers voted for me. The records are there.”[/quote]He has been banned!

We've revoked Aondoakaa's visa - US

Emeka Madunagu and Comfort Oseghale

The United States Government on Thursday confirmed that it had barred Nigeria's former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Chief Michael Aondoakaa, SAN, from entering its territory.

Michael Aondoakaa (SAN)

A blog, Saharareporters.com, had reported on Thursday last week that US President Barack Obama ordered the revocation of Aondoakaa's visa for unspecified links to corruption.

Aondoakaa swiftly denied the report, saying that he had not received any communication from either the US Department of State or the US Embassy in Abuja to that effect.

He had said, "In the first instance, the revocation of visa of a citizen entering the US does not go through Obama. It is just a matter of the state department revoking your visa."

However, the US Embassy in Abuja, through one of its top officials, confirmed to one of our correspondents that the former AGF and his family had indeed been barred from entering the United States.

Reading from a prepared text on the telephone, the diplomat said, "The United States has indeed revoked the visa of the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 7750, which provides authority to deny entry to the United States to persons with links to corruption."

Prodded for further details, the diplomat said the information was restricted to the text.

By this development, Aondoakaa's position as a member of the governing council of the United Nations Institute for Unification of Private Laws may be hampered.

Former US President George W. Bush had on January 12, 2004 signed Proclamation 7750, to restrict foreign officials and their family members allegedly linked to corruption.

The full text of the proclamation is posted on http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2004/pdf/04-957.pdf.

The proclamation had earlier been used to bar a former governor of Plateau State, Chief Joshua Dariye, and his family from entering the US in 2004, . . . . .

BARCELONA target Cesc Fabregas insists he has not ruled out staying at Arsenal next season.
The Gunners' skipper has been strongly linked with a move to the Nou Camp and Pep Guardiola's side had a £29million bid for him turned down last month.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is adamant the 23-year-old — who is in South Africa as part of Spain's World Cup squad — will not be allowed to leave.

But despite admitting it would be a dream to play under his boyhood idol Guardiola, Fabregas says he could yet remain at the Emirates Stadium.

He said: "I haven't said that I will definitely leave Arsenal. Everything is possible. Now I have my head and my focus on the World Cup.

"I am very proud to be captain of Arsenal and I love the club and have respect for them. It gave me such pride to be made captain."

Fabregas has also admitted he has been frustrated by Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque's decision to leave him on the bench for the finals.

Barca duo Xavi and Andres Iniesta are filling Spain's creative roles in midfield and Xabi Alonso and Sergio Busquets are the anchormen.

And Fabregas added: "I always want to play. I'm not used to sitting on the bench and I want to be playing at this World Cup.

"I'm always competitive at everything — even on the PlayStation — but that's my desire to win and I have that even in training.

"I've never been a player happy to settle for what I have, I always want more but I respect the coach's decision.

"I know to be in midfield is going to be difficult because we have a lot of good players but I will never give up.

"I've won a lot of caps but if I've not played three quarters of the game then it's not so valuable to me.

"I still don't think my best time for Spain has arrived and I still must carry on working to improve."

I was once in a bus(interstate) and a girl(stranger)asked me to help pay her fare. I looked at her and knew she was not faking. Well dressed and sekzy. I did that for her. When we got down at the terminal, she was looking at me expecting that I would ask for a phone number. I just paid for her okada and that was it. I knew she was stranded.
