@kobo These people lack everything. Ignore what he said about them being children of the rich. Is it Islam that asks them to go plastic in hand going to pack food remnants to eat? |
It is very absurd to base this discussion on the theme "shelter" because the President mentioned boarding houses. The issue about providing boarding houses is not just about providing shelter but providing basic life necessities for some of these people and taking them away from the roads, at least away from the eyesore of seeing them with dirty plastics and clothes begging for remnant food everywhere. |
Righton I only asked a question. |
stale story. Feb 2010. How are you sure she is telling the truth before you go on with this title? |
I thought we read the news that the President asked him to resign to face the ICPC charge? |
In the white man's context, they dont pay bride price or dowry, yet the woman still goes to bear the mans name. So, you are wrong to say the woman is bearing the mans name because he paid dowry on her. Pride price/dowry is a tradition, a custom. If you have a sister, will you be happy another man takes her, impregnates her and begin to live together as husband and wife without making an effort to recognise the family? |
hmmmm. That may be a long throw baby. The stress may not worth the effort. |
show me the party in Nigeria who doesnt rig. i want to know. |
Is this woman no more married or is that her hubby? why is his hand right where it is? |
What are these sources that can never be named? Here one side of a story and believe it? Damn! SaharaReporters. So Jonathan is now offering bribe to the UK in respect of oil? Just to secure Ibori? What a big allegation. |
u don get admission first? |
In 2008: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-140654.0.html Even Guardian, ThisDay carried the story. LOL |
ON POWER: We will move to diversify the energy mix by introducing coal powered plants which will employ clean coal technologies. hese plants will be sited to ensure proximity to known coal reserves in Okaba, Ogboyoga (Kogi State), Owukpa (Benue State) and Ezimo (Enugu State). We will also invest in decentralized renewable energy such as wind, solar and biomass especially in rural areas, with limited grid access. We will provide iscal incentives for private developers. We will implement pricing schemes to promote load management and motivate customers to minimize their energy consumption during peak periods. We will also ensure good consumer education on the most eicient use of energy. We shall ensure capacity building within the industry and re-orientate PHCN personnel towards customer- oriented service, productivity and eiciency and sanction recurring anti-customer behaviour. We will introduce power consumer assistance funds for low-income power consumers, who consume below a certain threshold. We will bring credibility to the power reform process by ensuring that those we will appoint will be above board, highly qualiied and driven solely by public interest. We will stabilize power generation, transmission and distribution in the shortest possible time while putting in place a sustainable energy plan for the long term. I am thinking the above will happen in 6 months and Nigeria will begin to enjoy what she hasnt enjoyed in the past 50 years of independence. I also forgot to mention it will cost 50k unlike GEJ's costing billions of dollars. UP RIBADU. |
I guess u were not in town in 2008 when he made that statement. LOL We are only reminding people of what he said, noone is smearing anyone. If you doubt he said it, thats your problem. |
face the fact. which one be smear campaign? No one is talking about GEJ here. It is about the fact that Buhari said Abacha was a saint and never stole a dime of Nigeria money. Talk on that one. |
freegaza:Another wrong assumption. So you want to tell me that those boys that goes swarming for left over foods at public restaurants in Birnin Kebbi are children of rich people? Really? Or are we talking about another type of Almajiris? |
The Tunisian revolution started by someone setting himself on fire, today, see the result. But in Nigeria, they stay far away in the comfort of their homes in Europe and America and cry for revolution, and on the mantle of their house, they write, who wan die? |
What has Oni got to do with a new University established by the FG? So what if I am MJBlige? I guess we need to start posting our ge.nitals to prove so many things here on NL. Who cares who anyone is? |
Lets wait and see o |
LOL - so it is in everyone's culture. |
This is what the die hard critics on NL should be doing to make a point. Self - Immolation. |
The cyber space is replete with hundreds of Nigerian Community Fora, Online Magazine, Blogs, etc. From NairaLand, to Koboland, to NigeriaVillageSquare, to NaijaPalmyJoint, to SaharaReporters, 234Next, and many more. Each of these seem to have one tone, change, revolution, no to corruption etc. Arm chair critics who sit at the comfort of their homes far away from Nigeria, they sing with one voice, change, revolution, out with the old, in with the new, but each day, they make nothing happen. They are capable of offering solutions from the safety of their homes - the solution is all about protests, riots, revolution. But all we hear is big grammar but nothing is happening. Why will it happen when majority dont want to come home and lead, majority are comfortable with where they are in Europe, America etc. Majority dont even vote, so, who will make the change? We are witness changes in the Arab world - Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, Iran - all these are people who talk less but have the strength in themselves and the will to die to effect a change. Why cant these cyber talks be turned into action? I keep wondering. |

sorry o. six months? u gat correct pali? |
PDP, ACN, CPC - Which of these has a break from the so called Nigerian problem? PDP? ACN? Tinubu? Ribadu or who? CPC? Tony Momoh? Buhari? What are we talking about? The past can never go away from Nigerian politics. Even if ACN wins, i.e. Ribadu, the Senate/House of Rep will still be full of the same politicians of the past and the presence. Many here seems to be concerned about the President. Who are those he will contend with in the two houses? Same thing if it is Buhari/Bakare? This is not a military era, the same politicians, maybe with PDP in the majority, will still be in the two houses. So, its not about the President alone, this is for sure. So, whats the point? |
You need some food? Almajiri wannabe? Bring your dirty empty unwashed food plastic. Remember to call your remnants. |
Dint mind them jare. |
I tire o. Even some people hate him so much as to argue here on NairaLand that his name is not really Jonathan. They will argue and argue that his real name is something else. |
I am thinking you are one Almajiri somewhere. No wonder. Sorry for arguing with an almajiri or a wannabe almajiri. May your race never decline. May you born more Almajiris like you. I agree with all the names you have called me, Stu-pid, M-oron, and even more. So, you should be happy now. Abeg. Lets clap for him. Almajiri. No wonder you cant write proper english, because it is not the language of Almajiris. |
ola olabiy:Where in the world is it not possible to rig elections? |
