I stop to think
what the hell am i doing here
all the years of reading
all the years of writing exams
of what gain is it to me
if this where i end up
what happened to the illusion of a greener pasture
what happened to the promise of a better life
i was told am the future
when do i get to be the future
how do i become the future
all critical thinking
in a moment of boredom.

Sleepless Nights (Thoughts)
There i was awake on my bed
i feel my sleep been taken away from me
i hear the wind whistle
i feel the night creeping in
and thinking to my self
i ask myself what have i done to have my sleep taken from me
it was only but a moment of pleasure
and now the end result hunts me
i think know the burdens i have to bare
i stop to think will i ever be forgiven
will i still be loved
will i ever be whole again
will it work
what if it doesnt work
what do i do
where do i go what will happen to me
these question seems to be all i think of
but these questions do not hold the right answers
All for a taste of the piece of the cake.
