Just as anticipated,
prices of Eurobonds have increased leading to a drop in yields, almost all corporate bonds are trading at a premium right now
it will drop further once the anticipated eurobonds starts maturing or are called,
there is bound to be so much dollar liquidity soon.
Can you tell us the one that is currently ongoing that one can invest in? I have a dom account with zenith with over 20k$. Thanks!

Pls what are your reasons? We have so many Zenith Bank customers here. Zenith is one of the best banks for wealthy customers, if you have huge sum of money, Zenith is the best choice.... I have over 100m with them in different investment channels and I am growing rapidly. But Zenith Bank is not too good for starters or someone trying to build up his/her finance, I know they sometimes discriminate or undermine poor customers, that's one thing I don't like about them as well.

You got it right. That is why I advised the guy who I presumed might be a starter. If not that I have huge sum with them, I would have moved my TBills to another Bank. The fear of fear won't allow me to move my huge some to another Bank.
Zenith Bank's TBills rate is very poor compare to other Banks. Early this year when TBills was 15%, Zenith Bank gave me 14.25 for my three TBills while GTB gave me 14.65 when the rates dropped to 14.85%.
I also have a good sum in 5 digits in a domiciliary account with them, but fear won't allow me to move it to another Bank for any dollar denominated investements. As at the last time I asked them, I was told they don't have any.

Having seen that the cost of a meter is less than 20USD, I hereby withdraw my earlier submission.
This country is in a mess.

I disagree... The price is not reasonable... Did we buy MTN mast in order to receive network from MTN? It is only a country like Nigeria that everything goes... How much is minimum wage? Even the useless governors were shamefully bold to come out and say they cannot pay #30000. Now you expect a Nigerian to buy prepaid meter at #70000. This is a big nonsense.

We have useless leaders whose ability to think comes from their Anus
I meant 36k is reasonable not 67k.

Will the meter be my property after buying or the electric company's? If it is going to be mine, then I can tweak it as much as I like, but if it's going to be the electricity company's property, then Bleep them! How do you expect me to buy a device that will aid you in billing me?! If you care about billing me correctly, then don't expect me to buy the fucking device.
It is your property once you buy it. It is better than estimated billing. I don't think you need to tweak it since the prepaid meter is better than the useless estimated billing. Ordinarily, it is supposed to be given free. We accept whatever the government dishes to us. Nigeria is not a country at all.

ubee:

Firstly your claim about paying for the meter back in 2012 sounds really dubious because this prepaid meter payment started three or four years ago max.
However, by saying that it's reasonable for the masses to pay almost 70k for a device that is truly worth far less than half of that price shows you off as lacking a capacity to think rationally.
You feel because you paid 35k(as you claim) then it's okay for people to be fleeced into paying 70k today?
You are selfish and unreasonable.
Are you the one that paid it? I paid to IBEDC through a staff that helped to secure the meter which was delivered in 2016.
36k is reasonable not 70k.
I wouldn't want to sound low like you did. I know how to respond to things like you.

There is no difference in charges between sec and pry markets.

I have said it and I will repeat it again. The end of GTBANK has started and the management is not noticing. When I opened my account with them 2002, they were just wonderful but over the years as they began to break records and emerge the biggest and best bank and importantly began to hire so kind of staff. Initially, I thought those bank staff of their were ex first bank, and UBA but I found out they were core GTBank. The first bank and Union bank syndrome has caught up with GTBank. The we cannot fail syndrome.
It is particularly sad that a bank would steal from customer. GTBank has been stealing from me with their SMS charges. I did a report and complained to my account officer. The poor guy didn't know how much the bank charges per SMS. Whatever was their charge by SMS I was still been stolen from by GTbank.
I used to speak highly of GTBank until I opened account with Stanbic bank. It had to be so when my account officer was frustrating my TB plans.
And the bank is not apologetic. They thought because Innoson was not schooled they could cheat him. Them no know say omo Ibo get sense no matter his/her level of education.
They also charge N20 per page to print statement of account while zenith charges 10-15 Naira per page.
