People should ask ATIKU about the demise of PDP. This is painful. Not honoring agreement of zoning as clearly provided in the constitution is the main cause of the collapse of the party. The sweat of the founding fathers of the PDP will not forgive Atiku. What stops Atiku from supporting a southerner presidential candidate and support a strong northern vice candidates for him. Definitely Atiku will not fly the flag of PDP in 2027. The opposition coalition is stll looking for a arty to use. Obi prefer to fly the flag on his own - party not known yet. All these signs are pointing to Asiwaju wining the 2027 elections. |
Wasting his money against formidable force of jagaban. Obi should go and ask Papa Awo's experience in the 50s in the North. Much spending with zero vote -- BAKO DAYA. |
G-5 under the leadership of Wike will merge with APC.. Seyi of PDP and PDP governorship candidate will win March 11 election and thereafter defect to APC |
It is good that Prof. Banji Akintoye bow out in honour. The group can not last. By the time Tinubu wins the 2023 election, what will the group be fighting for again. |
Factually, Obi lacks the structure to win this presidential election. He Both Atiku and Obi fish in the same voters pond. They both belonged to PDP. Obi's vote will affect the votes of Atiku negatively. Under the strong structures of PDP and APC, labour party may not win any state for governor. I doubt whether the party will get any senatorial win. The aloofness of 5 PDP governors is an advantage to Tinubu APC and a negation to PDP Atiku. |
Obidient or no Obidient members, we must look at this point objectively. No nation grows when they open their gates of importation without restrictions. What you can do as a government is to grant production incentives to local manufacturers and at the same time increase import duties on less critical items. Machinery for manufacturing should enjoy zero duty. Nigeria spends too much money on tires and batteries . Government should encourage local manufacturers etc |
Igbo Obidient supporters don’t know how to play national politics. You kept on insulting Tinubu every day during the party primary elections destroyed the fact you are not APC members. Tinubu won with land slide you keep on attacking him and his race. When you continue to attack Tinubu, you given him opportunity for sympathy by his people. My advice to you is that let voters k ow what Obi has done in past and what is capable of doing for nigeria if elected |
Pastors in the house please answer |
The chance of Obi is limited |
Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has described as false insinuations in some quarters that he may be asked to step down as presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in ensuring the party produces a consensus candidate. The governor said he was favourably positioned and had the backing of the real stakeholders in APC ahead of the presidential primary election to clinch the APC ticket. There were reports that Fayemi, who is also the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum and other four governors held a meeting behind a closed door with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, suggesting that he was being pressured to step down. But Fayemi in a statement issued in Abuja by the Head of Media and Spokesperson of his Fayemi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Ige, described the report as “absolute rubbish.” He said, “No meeting took place between us and any aspirant about stepping down. We are undoubtedly among the leading aspirants for the position and one to watch in the race. “Our candidate has deep trust and respect among political leaders in the party and also from colleague governors who form a critical mass in the decision-making process.” Ige asked Fayemi’s supporters to “remain calm, focused and not losing faith because of the lies fabricated by political detractors, saying no amount of late-night demarketing will work against the Kayode Fayemi Presidential project.”

5% region will be contented if given VP or Senate president position provided presidency eludes SW. Instead for them to build bridges across the federation, they keep on focusing on Tinubu. Now SW is strategizing in a way that, while you are focusing on Tinubu, a South Westerner will emerge from behind. If APC picks a Northerner as its candidate, the party will be buried. Definitely, a dot in a cycle region will never get presidency in either of the two parties. Arrangement is, if SW get it in 2023, he will rule for 8 years. Then it goes to the North for another 8 years. After that, it will rotate to the South in which case, South South will have it for 8 years - of course, SW will support the SS at the time. SW will ensure that its cousins Edo or Itsekiri gets the presidency. It will go up north for another 8 years. At this time, 5% region would have fizzled or disappeared out of the universe. |
South West has no apology to make to anyone. Even if Tinubu or Osinbajo wins the APC candidacy, the 5% region will prefer to vote for Atiku their master. Siuth West is capable of holding their own destiny at hand. If APC field any candidate from the south outside SW, PDP will win. The best bet is APC to field its candidate from the SW. A dot in the cycle region has made their home ungovernable. Who in the country will vote for you. |
Wike the Thug |
OSUN STATE IS NOT LUCKY WITH THIS TYPE OF LITERATES CONTESTING ON A JOINT TICKET. |
This is the only thread Tinubu's name has not mentioned. Why? |
If there is primary election today, Tinubu will clear the votes. Amaechi and others who are contesting with him is to share from th political booty after Tinubu wins general presidential election |
The most loud mouth, useless governor in Nigeria |
With Ganduje's victory , Tinubu's victory is assured at the convention. |
Atiku or any Northerner will lose 2023 election. Any southern Zones will win the election |
My people from the Yeast, if Nairaland participation can translate to votes, no one region will beat you. Unfortunately, your 5% can hardly fetch you anything. |
