My friend shut up.

In 2015, A certain Dennis Nwanoye defeated a son of the soil to become FUNAAB SUG president.

So also Obinna won the Welfare Director seat in 2012 also defeating a son of the soil.

Don't try to justify your tribe foolishness and stupidity thinking every other tribe is as stupid as yours.

Honestly I didnt know, you know you are more informed than I am. I know LM said he wont leave APC to join APM then and I also know he will not be consequential in Ogun East it's not like we like him here and that will not affect Dapo's vote in Remo/Ijebu side. What I know for sure is that us that voted APC for Presidential in Ijebu will not vote APM on March 9. Even for Kashamu the sentiment here is how can a drug baron rule us so his money politics will reach its limit this time.

As you read it's not even sure he won his senatorial race, so let's wait and see. As for Lanre Edun, we just have to wait and see. APC/APM will split the votes in central and while Amosun is banking on APC votes translated to APM we are banking that that strategy will not work especially in Ota,Ijoko, Atan, Agbara, Lusada and those border towns. Maybe Abeokuta might be heavily APM, but Ifo/Ewekoro will not. APM will also split with ADC in the west so it's not all smooth sailing.

But a sample is this Ogun West vote you have seen APM came up short, it was close but they ultimately failed. That is what is likely to happen. Voter turn out is very low so it will probably go down to the margins. ADC also came up short, I know Amosun seems to believe everybody that put him over will all back Akinlade on March 9 grin.....but we just have to wait and see. it's a high stakes gamble

You said you voted for Buhari in Ijebu. Lol .

Atiku even won some local governments in your ijebu district while Egbas voted massively for Buhari .Buhari won all the local governments in Egba districts.. Go and check the Margin of victory in our local government and compare it with yours...if not for we egbas despite the fact that Osibanjo is your son in that district.

I have told you, March 9 is a different ball game... Apm tried in the last election despite the fact that some voters were confused.. Some even voted Apm for president in my Ward ,many couldn't differentiate between the ballot papers.. check results from Ogun West .

You people didn't know kashamu was a drug baron when you voted him as your senator in 2015? Lol.

Lol...who supported ADC grin grin grin grin

anyway what'sup with APM? why did APM lose?

In Ogun State, the APC won the two senatorial seats.

The state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun was declared the senator-elect for Ogun Central after scoring 88,110 votes to defeat other candidates, including Mrs Titi Oseni-Gomez of the African Democratic Congress who polled 37,101.

The immediate-past Chief of Staff to Amosun, Tolu Odebiyi also emerged the senator-elect for Ogun West. He scored 56,452 votes to defeat the All Peoples Movement’s Olusegun Gbeleyi, who got 48,611. The result of the Ogun East senatorial seat, was declared inconclusive

Bro do you know that LM and lanre edun are not working for Dapo? LM is likely to be declared winner.. Don't rejoice yet.. March 9 is a different ball game.

The fact is that Buhari is an APC candidate and the rally is an APC rally. So if APM members are there they should respect the owners of the rally

Amosun wont be the first politician to lose out in the scheming of his party. Mimiko was in PDP and lost ticket to Agagu, he went to labor and didnt bring crowd to PDP rally to throw stones just like Omisore lost PDP ticket went to Labor, Ladoja lost PDP scheming went to Accord etc.

There are some states where the governor is PDP, but supporting Buhari. Like Gombe He wont bring his PDP supporters and tell them to tear down APC banners at an APC rally

Buhari is not playing it safe because of Amosun, he plays it safe everywhere like he did with Saraki in Senate, Like he did with Oyegun, like he did with Onnoghen until it dawned on him that the result of his election might depend on Onnoghen

What AMosun did was terrible getting people to throw stones and water at the president and Vice.

Tell me if somehow one of the stones hit Buhari what will we be saying now?

I think Amosun planned to emebrass Oshiomole and Tinubu not Buhari.. Unfortunately his supporters went out of control.

If you know what Oshiomole did in the last APC primaries in Ogun state . He substituted names of those that won the primaries with those that didn't even contest at all. You can only respect party supremacy If the process was fair and it's the majority.. But this time around, few people sat down wrote names, deciding those that will contest and said party supremacy.. That action will definitely bring dissaffection into the party. If you see how Tinubu and Oshiomole are hated. It was Apm that organized the rally for Buhari. In fact, right now..Apm is the one campaigning aggressively for Buhari in Ogun state. By March 3 they will all decamp back to APC.

WHy will AMosun be pulling down APC billboards at an APC rally.

If he wants to promote APM, he can do that at APM rally not at APC rally.

The truth is that members of APM are aggrieved members of APC.... Apm members will still support some Apc candidates.. Apm didn't field candidates in some seats.. After March 2 they will all decamp back to Apc.... Osoba's faction are in the minority in Ogun state without Apm that day the stadium would have been scanty.. It will take massive rigging in about 15 local government before Dapo can win... They should have settled the matter long ago immediately after the primaries. Buhari knows what happened in Ogun state the reason why he made that statement.. Buhari is playing safe, he can't just discard Amosun like that.. Both of them are very close even before the game 2007 elections.. Buhari won with ANPP in Ogun central with Amosun in 2007 before the results were cancelled by the demonic Pdp.... Buhari understands the influence of Amosun in Ogun state.

What people fail to realise is that, there was no way either Amosun or ACN would have won in 2011 if they didn't come together...they collapsed their structures and it resulted in victory for them....it was 50/50...they needed a strong candidate and Amosun needed a strong platform...OBJ who dropped his support for Olurin and support Amosun 2 days to d election won't have done so if Amosun didn't present himself.

And incase u don't know, Osoba produced d DG and 4 Commissioners, while Tinubu was collecting kickbacks, it was when their greediness became irritating an bearable that Amosun cut them loose.

Honestly I wasnt being petty grin.... but you made it sound like Tinubu needed Amosun more than Amosun who needed the structure. If he was this good he should have won with ANPP...I mean he should have gone it alone with ANPP to contest the governorship.

I gave you the reasons why he couldn't win with ANPP, in fact till today, some are of the opinion that Amosun actually won the Election in 2007 but was rigged.

I only explained the symbiotic relationship between Amosun and Tinubu.. They both needed each other not like the way you painted it that it was Tinubu that discovered Amosun.

In fact Amosun almost left the ACN for CPC before the elections before Tinubu appealed to him not to go ...it was a mutual arrangement and that's why Amosun is different from Aregbe, Fashola, Ambode that rode on Tinubu's support... Amosun already had his support group prior to him decamping to ACN.

Let's review the facts cheesy

How many slots were conceded? I know Olumide was given for south, and I personally dont like how Twinny replaced Mikhail Kazeem in the north but on the balance of scales tell me how many slots did Amosun concede to Osoba.

'At the meeting held at the basement of the Ibara Housing home of the governor, between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm on Thursday, informed sources hinted that the consensus arrangement could be likened to a palace coup where the Ogun West elders were not given a free hand to choose whoever would be their preferred candidate, rather the power-that-be imposed the candidature of Adekunle Akinlade on them.
None of the supposed Yewa elders could object to the decision of the governor, except Chief Tunji Akinosi, who was opposed to the imposition. He wore a sad look, while filing out from the inner room, the governor had an audience with them. But others could not raise an eyebrow, as they accepted the decision. The outcome of the stakeholders meeting didn’t have input of the Yewa elders at all,” a source said.
Likewise, the aspirants (Tolu Odebiyi, Abayomi Hunye, Tope Kuyebi, Kola Lawal, Abiodun Akinlade, Suraj Adekunbi, Aderibigbe Tella and three others) were not given an opportunity to agree among themselves who should be their consensus candidate.
Shortly after the meeting, it was gathered that the governor directed the elders to go to the residence of the Late Deacon Poju Adeyemi, Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta, to face cameras of television houses which included Channels, OGTV and others, and tell the whole world that they had chosen Akinlade as the consensus candidate.'
This right here is called self-help.

Amosun is forgetting his history. He (Amosun) is a product of Bourdillon and he has so soon forgotten that his so-called detractors of today were his benefactors in 2011. He treated his leaders with scorn. The likes of Tope Kuyebi (Ogun West AC consensus candidate) and Prof Remilekun Bakare (Ogun Central leading aspirant) sacrificed their individual ambition to pave way for Amosun’s quest. Amosun rode on their back to become the governor and he has bitten the fingers that fed him.
“Gov Amosun has forgotten that since his foray into the active partisan-politics he hasn’t been a party man. He has been leaving one party to another. At the formative stage in 1999, he began his political career with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where he, in 2003, realised his Ogun Central Senatorial district bid and soon, he dissolved into APP, later ANPP and to CPC. When he could not actualised his governorship ambition he hob-nobbed with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pitched tent with the Action Congress (AC) which later metamorphosed into the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and All Progressives Congress (APC) He has always displayed arrogance and believed he is wiser than everybody around him in any platform he finds himself.
“The most annoying part of it and it is regrettable, that despite Aremo Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State and the then, leader of the AC in the state never saw Amosun as a team player, he still succumbed to pleas, persuasions and appeal to allow Amosun fly the AC ticket in 2011, it took the interventions of Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Dapo Abiodun and several other stalwarts of the party 10 times to persuade and beg Osoba to accept him as the governorship standard bearer of the party. At long last, Osoba gave him a benefit of doubt and accepted him. And he and other aggrieved governorship aspirants buried their individual differences and worked together to ensure he win and governorship seat and it came to pass.

“But shortly after had he assumed office as the governor on May 29, 2011 than he started behaving funny. He started abusing and attacking the people who helped him into the state. The first thing he did was that he rejected names of four Commissionership nominees Osoba sent to him, to be included in his complied list.
“As if that was not over, he ensured he betrayed Osoba, Senators Gbenga Kaka, Akin Odunsi, Gbenga Obadara and other scores of other chieftains and edged them completely out of the control of the party machinery. He erected his own structure, made himself an emperor without an empire and started calling the shots

I agree. If Amosun cannot accommodate Osoba he will be schemed out of relevance and that is the battle that is going on now. The original owners of ACN are asserting their influence now to regain control of the party after making mistakes, Osoba included. The chickens have all come home to roost now.

why did he run away from the NWC sanctioned primaries? Akinlade would have prevailed there too so what scared him?

Governor is Osoba candidate
the 3 senate seats where all Amosun's candidates. Himself, Lekan Mustapha and Odebiyi

The 9 house of reps I dont know who they rest are but I know Mikhail kazeem was schemed out of his seat in Abeokuta North.

The house of assembly situation was as a result of total non compromise by Amosun and that was what led to the usurpation of those results especially the real fear that Dapo cannot be having himself surrounded by all Amosun's loyalist. This also is as a result of the non compromising stand of Amosun who wants all or nothing.

It's a supremacy battle and we will see how it all plays out.

Lol.. Bro.. For you to quote biased newspaper reportage shows you don't really know what's happening.

There are lots of things to correct in what you even quoted sef.

First Twinny had always wanted to contest for Abeokuta North house of assembly seat and not Abeokuta north, Obafemi owode and odeda fed constituency.

Twinny was to pick the the ticket in 2015 but Amosun insisted on Ojodu to repay him for his loyalty at the State house assembly. Twinny was promised the seat in 2019. But he went to join forces with YAYI group, later he went to ADC, Amosun was dissapointed and said Twinny can't be trusted.. Myself, Twinny, Amosun and Obasanjo are from same ward in Owu. Later ward elders begged Amosun to allow him back, twinny now gave a condition that amosun should give him some of the money he has spent so far. Amosun got angry and decided the ticket will go to Mujota.. Twinny joined forces with Osoba and he was given the ticket.

Now to the Ogun West Elders. All what you quoted there is a bias reportage without any valid source. Senator Anisulowo and several others supported Akinlade.

Suraj, kola Lawal are all supporting Akinlade.. Even Tolu Odebiyi agreed until he was persuaded to join forces with Osoba and Dapo .. Only Isiaq said No.

Now to you saying Amosun was a product of bourdillion.. That's not entirely true. The arrangement in 2011 was more of a symbiotic relationship. ACN wanted to win Ogun State, they needed a popular candidate with wide acceptance. Tinubu knew only Amosun could fit in.
Besides contrary to what you wrote up there, Amosun didn't join AC he joined them when they were already called ACN and neither did he decamp to CPC but he wanted to after Osoba was giving him tough time. In 2011, Osoba wanted Remi Bakare to be Governor, in fact he insisted. But Tinubu knew they will lose with Remi Bakare.. Amosun came second in 2007 with ANPP, despite the fact that most results in Ogun central were cancelled because Amosun won with a wide margin. ANPP won in Obasanjo's polling unit, the results were cancelled due to what inec called violence and obj was the president then. That was when I knew what they call election rigging.

AC also constestd that election but they came a distant third despite the support of your Tinubu, Osoba and co. Amosun came second with a party many regarded as Hausa party then.. This is to tell you Amosun is bigger than your Osoba in Ogun Politics .he defeated your Osoba mercilessly in 2015 again..

Amosun is not a small boy in Politics, he is different from Aregbe, fashola etc..whom Tinubu tutored ...Amosun was already a senator when Tinubu was governor of Lagos.

Bro next time always confirm your facts very well. Like I said earlier don't support impunity just because you hate Amosun. Osoba once nominated the deputy governor, three senate , 9 house of reps and 26 house of assembly seats in Ogun state in 2011 ...he wanted to do same with the local government election before Amosun said No and he was disgraced. If Osoba was a good Elder like you all want us to believe.. Why didn't his Sdp manage to win a single ward in 2015? Lol.. Osoba has no electoral value.. I just pity Tinubu for relying on him to deliver Ogun State.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. If Amosun is so desperate for a Yewa candidate, why didnt he let the Yewa Elders decide who they want for Governor? why didn't he allow an open process involving all the stakeholders? why doesn't he concede some ground and share the slots with the Osoba factions... or so you want a situation where Dapo is governor and all the state house members are Amosun's loyalist?

see Amosun can only deceive folks like you. If Amosun wants to be fair, he knows what he should have done. But all that is too late now.

Your problem is that you lack information.

Who told you that some seats were not conceded to Osoba's faction?

Osoba's son was even given the ticket for Abeokuta South federal constituency.

And who told you that the Yewa Elders didn't have a hand in the emergence of Akinalade? Why do you think every other contestants that were considered all agreed to work with Akinlade except for one.

What Osoba's faction want is the control of the party and also to be the one to dictate to Amosun and give him whatever they like.. But Amosun is saying No, that he will be the one to decide what they will get since he is in the majority in the party.. This is a democracy, majority carries the day.

Osoba can't reap where he didn't sow. How can Probably who left the party in 2015 for SDP, to work for Jonathan but decided to come back two years after they lost woefully at the elections now think he will be the one to decide who gets what?

Politics is not like that. What about those who worked with Amosun in 2015 and ensured that Apc won the state for buhari. How will they feel if those who worked against the party in 2015 are now coming back to get the party tickets.

Politics is give and take my brother.

If they should conduct the Primaries again, your Dapo will still not win. How can you undermine an incumbent governor like that? You think everybody is Ambode?

Bro try and be democratic, You are supporting impunity by saying people who won their tickets in a democratic setting should be denied... Why didn't Osoba faction win any ticket? How can a faction that won the governorship primary lose all the 26 house assemblies tickets , 3 senate and 9 house of reps seats. ..Think about it bro.
