fkj950ax: Don't tell the VO you have only 35k with you o. There is no other cost you will incur at the embassy. Before and after the embassy, your other costs will naturally have to be paid init?
Your DS160 Confirmation Your GTPay Receipt Your International Passport Your $110.00 Reciprocity Fees in Naira (preferably cash) - It is more than 35k
For what it is worth, have extra passport photographs on you. Others WILL ask you to go with Bank Statement, Invitation Letter, etc etc... Thank u so much |

123JohnF: I won't judge some Nigerians overstaying the tourist visa or trying to get more permanent stay. Many tourists, not only Nigerians but Asians, Latin Americans, Europeans, Africans come to visit and stay, on another visa, trying to marry or staying undocumented. America is a magnet, you arrive and see so much comforts, human rights and you want to live in this beautiful land saying I also wish to live a decent life, smell fresh air, drive a nice car, have lots of water, power and wifi 24x7. We all are human and we all want a better life. But each day it's more difficult for foreigners to stay and to fix their immigration status.
Staying as an undocumented or illegal? I wouldn't recommend to anybody. It's a poor very hard life. But who are we to judge? All Americans we are immigrants, many came and fixed their status, many have immigrant parents, grand parents, etc. We all somehow came here yet each year it becomes harder and harder for newcomers, the world and rules are changing and America can't support so many poor people, we can't pay more and more for so many overstaying or getting illegal here. Trump has a business mind and numbers, finances are talking, we can't afford paying each year more and more to benefit so many foreigners on our soil. I am sure u are a native American abi ur forefathers were one of the ex slaves, that's when u can claim it's your soil, asides that u sef na japa |

flourishing247: This is one of the consequences of lies our people tell at the embassy. They will still come up with stricter measures. So people that think they are smart should think again. Do the Honourable thing, get your visa, go on holidays and return back to Nigeria simple. You can live a good life here if you work hard. Stop messing up genuine people's chances of getting visas to visit their families. Hian Uhmmmm |
