My experience with GTBank is not so different from the OP. When I discovered GTB was taking about N50 from every transaction, both incoming and outgoing (all other bank I use only charge for outgoing transactions), and some other funny charges. I decided to withdraw all the money in the account and left it domant. After about 3 months the account had accrued some -N3,000+ with no single transaction done since I left it domant.

I had left my Zenith bank account domant for over a year and Zenith rather added some few naira into the account. So why is GTBanks's own different when they are both savings account?

Some of these reputable vehicle manufacturers used to have plants in Nigerian and other African countries in the past. But worsening economies sent them packing.

Setting up a plant in Nigeria is no problem for these companies. But how many Nigerians can afford to buy these cars when they start assembling them here? Even good grade tokunbo vehicles are out of the financial reach of majority of Nigerians. So, how can they afford brand new ones.

The truth is, these companies are ready to go anywhere there is a good market for their products. But how will they come to a place where more than 99.9% of the population can't even afford a single unit. The market they'll get from the not-so-many HNIs, politicians, and government agencies is just not enough to warrant setting up an assembly here at this time.

Worse, the insecurity situation is another huge deterrent. Those dare-devil kidnappers will only start licking their lips once they know of such an assembly. And those companies won't risk the lives of their employees!

Very detailed and well explained. Most of their cars are targeted at the American, European and Asian market where they have good roads. We then import them to where we have mostly bad roads and then make matter worse by maintaining them with fake spare parts.

Until we have a Toyota, Honda or Nissan assembly plant in Africa with varients built and targeted specifically for the African market, this will continue to remain the case

A wise man once said the experience you create for your loved ones lives with them the rest of their lives. I lost my dad not too long ago, the first time I am losing someone so close that hits home, remembering the experience we had together as a family and the sacrifices he made makes me respect and value him each time I remember him.

I understand that they usually have downtime but if you buy the device from an active agent. He always be down to escalate the issues to his bosses at the backend or troubleshoot for you and truly if you’re fortunate to have good installer.. nothing is as good as the ODU

I concur with this. My first month testing the device with the free data, I used up almost 500GB yet no throttling. Only issue is airtel always have downtimes and those times the speed can crawl. For peace of mind you need to support it with MTN 5G.

The location of the out door unit is another factor that can affect speed. I planted mine not too high, within my burglary because I fear it might be stolen. Raising it on a pole like GOTV anthena will get you crazy signal quality and speed
