The rate at which the social media is consuming the time and attention of our youngsters than their books does these days, am afraid it looks like the examination malpractice rooted in our educational system still have a very long tenure to rule ![]() |
“So, Aisha, don’t give up. You are younger and this is your first attempt. I contested three times and this is my fourth attempt” - GMB A child who is carried on the back will not know how far the journey is. He whose advise should be sought is he who speaks from experience. |

With everyone in Kaduna looking forward to his leadership in expectation of good governance, his legacy from abuja preceding him, am sure its obvious he will come out the leading candidate. |
Chai! see what an Oba has caused now! *grabs mic*...*in JEGA's Voice* Oba please let us be careful of what we say or do so that we do not disrupt a process that has ended peacefully |
I must say we Nigerians truly owe The Almighty One (whoever you believe in) some serious gratitude. One is apt to consider what the state of the country would have been, as we speak, if the result had gone the other way round. As much as we congratulate the President-elect for his victory, let's not forget to applaud the out-going president for his maturity in conceding defeat. Am glad even the world leaders didn't fail to see that. God Bless The President Elect and our Out-going President and God Bless Nigeria and Her Citizens. May we experience the positive "CHANGE" we crave. |
Hmn! that |
redcliff:As much as I quite agree with you on they not letting people's opinion influence their resolve to proceed against all odds, I must still point out that having a skill as a singer doesn't qualify them being a good musician. GEJ didn't lose because he was that bad a leader (because to be sincere he has some element of a good leader), but because he was a bad politician (that is, not skilled at politicking). |
Fighting corruption and conducting elections are two different entities. That he succeeded in this doesn't mean he will do well in that. Genevieve is a very good actress, but wasn't when it comes to being a musician!

mchimezie:Am not Igbo, but bros! you're sure you wont need your eyes examined? |
It is this kind of beauty that a man sees then hit the accelerator instead of the brakes when approaching a traffic hold-up. Black is truly beautiful. |

All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. But all play and no work will make him duller |
Too bad, just few days to the new year oh! And. Good for the driver, nemesis caught up with that drunk retard! May God almighty deliver us all from untimely death and may He cross us all over into 2015 In Jesus Name (Amen). RIP to the dead. |
oh Sweet Motherland! How did we get to this level, the giANT of Africa been trodden by an ANT! And you expect the guys that fought for our independence, the likes of Azikiwe will not be waiting at the pearly gates with koboko in their hands to flog all the senseless leaders we've had so far! God save Nigeria |
Great points op! Many people make the mistake of thinking that just because they have a unique idea or a pimped-up version of an existing idea, coupled with a little savings in the bank, they have all it takes to start a company. A lot many have also been misled by too much reading, I know this might sound a little controversial but because you have it all worked up in your head after some inspiration from some success book doesn't mean it will all work up as planned. My point is this: try to dip your legs in the river you are about to dive in to know how cold it is before you plunge. Make sure your new bucket can hold water without licking before you throw the old one away. #mycharitydonation. |

hmn! I neva tut of that, thanks, I'll consider that in my investigation |

Redlyn:And you think true christians who have discovered the truth are happy about it? Sure we know Christ wasn't born on 25th and we are not claiming He is, our joy is just that we celebrate the coming of a saviour and to true christians christmas is not 25th Dec, its every day. |
A nice move. I guess if our government showed similar gestures to victims of bomb blast, at least to compensate for their laxity in curtailing the security challenges, it would act as a balm to injuries. RIP to the Madalla Christmas bombings victims! Its now 3yrs and the story hasn't changed. Its well Nigeria. |
aaronson:Bros do you read at all? Did you miss the last sentence of my post you earlier quoted? SMH4U Its your type on NL that just rush to comment without reading, all just to earn cheap and worthless 'likes'.. And FYI JESUS is so real, the 'fake jesus' you know is there because there is a REAL One. The fact there is a 'fake' shows there must be a REAL. You won't see a fake N5000 note right? That's because there is no real one. |
aaronson:Let's assume you didn't read my comment at all before quoting me, please re-read it again, the answer to your arguments is right there, @rufdyamond was right after all about you. |
rufdyamond:Thanks brother. It just hurts me how people get led away by what they read without giving thoughts to way they read. Happy Christmas |
Who says I can't kill a chicken? Who kills the egg I fry with my indomie? ![]() |
aaronson:I must commend your vast knowledge but it seems to me you read only half the side, you need to balance your knowledge before you make conclusions bro! I'll advise you expand you research to early greek and aramaic literatures, the ones BC and the early ADs, works of the likes of Josephus and plato and some deep theological stuffs before you conclude He was never born! You don't want me talking about the dead sea scrolls and the Mosaic scripts....please do a lot more research. And guys don't let anyone deceive you, JESUS was but wasn't born on 25th December. Its just a began date adopted a long time ago 325AD by Constantine. |
How this one wan take solve my problem now? I tell funke say I travel go kaduna for christmas, hoping I go escape her high christmas demand expenses, this morning she land my domot knock door with plate of rice, my mumu friend open without confirming who dey knock from window! 2 tins dey mind mind now, either she didn't believe me or.... I hope its not what am thinking! Walahi I go kill Mathias if I smell fowl play. |
1995 Christmas, I ate like there was no tomorrow. I remember coming home in the evening after all the childish roaming about and I heard my mum exclaimed 'olympic' on sighting my tommy. I later found out from her one day that the first thing that came to her mind, which inspired her exclamation after sighting my tommy was an olympic swimming pool. |
