After using 0.75 of the cows and 0.6 of goats, we have equal numbers of cows and goats left.

Meaning we have 0.25 of cows and 0.4 of goats left

Since they are equal, 0.25C = 0.4G
Therefore, C = 1.6G

Now put that into the first equation up there {i.e C + G = 5421} and you get 3336 cows and 2085 goats.

I should be right.

now from above information


=> 3x=24 : => x=24/3=8

then y+x=25. ;=> y=25-8 =17

=> y-z=11 ; => 17-z=11 ; => z= 17-11= 6

hence x+y+z = 8+17+6 = 31

let p= (3x-1)(x+5) = 3x^2 +14x-5 so that p'= 6x+14

q= 2x^2 ; q' = 4x

y' = dy/dx = (p'*q - p*q ' )/q ^2

thus => [ 2x^2 (6x+14) - 4x(3x^2 +14x-5)]/(2x^2)^2

y' = (12x^3 +28x^2 -12x^3 -56x^2 +20)/4x^4

y'= (-2x^2 +20)/4x^4 = (-x^2 +10)/2x^4

so that

sin^2 (2@) = (1-cos(4@))/2

thus we have

1-2[(1-cos(4@))/2 ]

=> 1 - 1+cos(4@)

= cos(4@)

=> 263_x +441_x = 714_x

=>2 x^2 +6x +3 +4x^2 +4x +1 = 7x^2 +x+4

-x^2 +9x =0

or x(x-9)=0

x= 0 or 9


hence x= 9 ( which is the required base )
