Oresegun Olumide
From an uncelebrated artist to an internationally recognized one Oresegun Olumide all within one week, Olumide is being celebrated by CNN.
The graduate of Painting from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos took over the Nigerian social media scene with his unique and hyper realistic paintings. Within the spate of one week, Olumide’s social media followers increase tremendously. His artworks attracted 27.2k fans on Instagram, 25k shares on Facebook, 12.6k on Twitter, 10.5k on Snapchat, 9.4k on Tumblr, 12.6k on Google Plus, and it is still trending. Olumide’s ingenuity catapults him to global relevance.
Foremost international media CNN is smitten by Olumide’s water droplets sliding down the faces of children and wrote: “The hyperrealism created in the oil paintings makes his work seems so life like that it is hard to believe they aren’t.”

Q1 By analyzing the first few terms of this recursive function, the terms are. 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, ...

It can be concluded that the closed formula for the recursive function is

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(n-1) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(101-1) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(100) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 50 for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

Thus C(101) = 52

So f(101) = 52

A proof by induction can easily show the correctness of this closed function but this is another question entirely.

OR
This is an arithmetic progression, with a = 2, d = 1/2

F(n) = a + (n - 1)d

Where, a = 2, d = 1/2 and n = 101

F(n) = 2 + 1/2 (n − 1)

F(101) = 2 + 1/2 (100)

F(101) = 2 + 50

F(101) = 52

CelebritiesMama-g Turns Born-again Christian. by agentofchange1(op): 9:53pm On Jun 07, 2016
Veteran Nollywood Star, Patience Ozokwor aka Mama, Susu, famously known for her ‘Wicked Mother-In-Law’ roles in movies is now a born again christian, who now goes about, preaching in various churches and crusades. Starttells caught up with her at a crusade organised by St. Marks Anglican Church in Eziobodo Village of Imo State, where she shared her Salvation Experience. Here is what she had to say; According to her, she normally organises a personal retreat for herself in the first few days of the new year, when it was time to have her 2016 retreat, she heard the voice of the Holy Spirit telling her to fast for 21 days, she complained that she have so many projects to handle, Endorsements and movies to shoot within that period, and the Lord extended it to a 30 days fast due to her complaints. During this fasting period, The Lord revealed to her, how she will be a voice for him all over the world, how people’s attention will be channeled from her image on Nollywood to The Gospel. She said one of the things God warned her on, was her dressing and appearance. She said that Putting on Makeup, wearing Jewelry and putting on Trouser as a Lady is wrong, she said that she has been preaching to colleagues in Nollywood, but God told her to put off her Dreads, to stop wearing Jewelries and Trousers, that she could have gone to Hell, if she died December 31, 2015 despite the preaching she’s been doing, just because of her appearance. She asked the Holy Spirit to prove to her, give strong reasons, why that was a Sin, and Spirit of God replied that she should browse about it, that Testimonies of personal revelations God gave to people are all over the internet, and all of them are saying virtually the same thing, that she should find those information to help her life. She made mention of her Social Class, how the creme de la creame of the society, will attend her funeral and how such event won’t be a reflection of the position of her soul. She subsequently got to the internet and read testimonies of God’s encounter with people, she read about an Igbo Woman God encountered, and a Woman called Margaret from Edo State, who could have gone to Hell for hating her Husband. She said that people in Church is making God cry, due to their dressing, their loose life and conduct. After that encounter, she gave herself to spirit filled pastors for follow-up. She further outlined what makes God weep, from Galatians 5: 16-20. She also took time to explain how a parent-children relationship ought to be. On this, she said that some of the terrible things children do, is a mirror of what their parents do. She went on to cite an example of a Pastor’s wife, buying short dress for her daughter, but will still come to the church and condemn such dressing. When asked about her Nollywood life, Patience Ozokwor narrated that the Holy Spirit has not specifically directed her to quit or to not. She said that she has not shot any movie since that encounter in January, that she used to get an average of 1.5 Million Naira weekly, but that God has miraculously been providing her daily bread. She warned that it will be harder for colleagues in the movie industry, with permanent tattoos and eyebrows when they eventually encounter Christ. She also said that she should stop being referred to as Mama G, as that name was for when she was in the world. We went further to ask about her immediate family reactions to her new found faith, to which she answered that her daughter was upset with her, telling her that spirituality is a thing of the heart, and it doesn’t need to affect her dress code. Patience Ozokwor replied her daughter that she should be left alone with her Jesus. The brother also thought that she was mad, on hearing the news, and had to call her to confirm that she is mentally sound.She also said that she is happy her Son who plays football in Europe is now born again. Among other things she pointed was her Anglican Church and SU History, How Christian Association of Nigeria gave her a bible and many other things. She also talked about a Muslim leader, who said they have Nigeria in their hands, Fulani Herdsmen, and their deadly strategies. She cited example with Turkey (Istanbul) a Christian turned Muslim country. She also said that Islam is ready to take over the world, but our problem is that Christians can easily lose their faith for money. A look at Mummy Patience will tell you that really, something has happened.

amiskurie:
What are we suppose to do with ur picture,where are your derivation?
content of the link ..

The solutions of a quadratic equation are given
by two methods among which are : factoring
method and quadratic formula. But quadratic
formula (a.k.a, Almighty formula) as opposed to
the factoring method, works in every quadratic
equation so far as the discriminant is non
negative. Many alternative Derivations of the
quadratic formula have been given in different
texts. In this write-up, I shall show a distinct
means of deriving the Almighty formula . See
the nature of the quadratic formula in equation
1.0.
X = -b ± sqrt( b^2 - 4ac) / 2a...........1.0
At this point, instead of using the completing
the square principle for the proof, I proof it this
way.
Given a general quadratic equation of the form
aX^2 + bX + C = 0, where X is an unknown, while
a,b,and c are known numbers such that a is not
zero. Let this quadratic equation be the first
equation, i.e,
aX^2 + bX + C = 0................1
Form a monic quadratic equation by multiplying
equation one by 1 / a. This yields the second
equation i.e,
X^2 + (b/a)X + C / a = 0............2
Let F(X) = X^2 + (b/a)X + c/a = 0
Differentiate to have
F'(X) = 2X + (b/a)
Dividing the derivative by 2 and squaring the
result
gives
(F'(X)/2)^2 = ( X + b/2a)^2
Now add this square -half of the derivative to
the both sides of equation two.
Doing this we have,
X^2+(b/a)X+c/a + ( F'(X)/2)^2
= (F'(X)/2)^2...............3
But (F'(X)/2)^2 =( X + b/2a)^2
We then substitute to have
X^2 + (b/a)X + c/a + (X+b/2a)^2 =
(X +b/2a)^2................4
Isolating the LHS binomial we have ( X + b/2a )
^2 = ( X+b/2a )^2 - ( X^2 + b/aX + c/a)......5
Expanding the RHS binomial we have
( X + b/2a )^2 = X^2 + b/aX + b^2 / 4a^2 - ( X^2
+ b/aX + c/a) .......6
We cancel out like terms to have ( X + b/2a) ^2
= b^2 / 4a^2 - c/a............7
We take the LCM at the RHS to have,
( X + b/2a )^2 = b^2 - 4ac / 4a^2.............8
Take the square root of both sides to have,
X + b/2a = ±sqrt(b^2 - 4ac) / 2a.............9
Isolate X to have
X = - b/2a ± sqrt( b^2 - 4ac) / 2a..............10
We take the LCM of the RHS to have
X = - b ± sqrt( b^2 - 4ac ) / 2a..............11
Q.E.D
By
The unique nature of this method is that, it
saves us the stress of trying to complete a
square which would have led to factoring the
perfect square. Here, we only expand so as to
eliminate like terms.

You see the problem we are facing in Nigeria ?

First of all , is she not a student like others ?

You registered a course I lectures , sat for exams , answered the questions correctly / appropriately , I give you your full mark ...then you pass the course .
but if otherwise , then you fail and have to resit for the course ..irrespective of who you are or where you came from . If by any chance I had to upgrade her score , I will certainly do likewise across board or for similar category as hers' ( which is rare in most cases ).

I believe in fairness , Justice and equity , Why should I think of passing a Governors wife when indeed she failed my course Just because of her class or position. , That is a type ll error ( statistician should know ) ... I know many will use that as an advantage to get huge cash from her , and yet you sit there accusing the government of corruption and sort ...We must change our mindset /mentality if we must make Head ways in this Nation ...

here it is : prove thaT
(TAN 2A- TAN A) IS EQUAL TO (2SIN A)/(COS A +COS3A)
OK .

Proof:

from the L.H.S.,

tan(2A) - tanA = sin(2A)/ cos(2A). - sinA/cosA

=( Sin2AcosA - cos2AsinA)/cos2AcosA

consider the numerator , which takes the form

Sin (x-y) = sinxcosy - cosxsiny ....

..( by definition ..trig.identity )

thus , we have

=> sin(2A-A) / cos2AcosA = sinA/ cos2AcosA .......(*)

Now consider the R.H.S, 2sinA/(cosa +cos3A)

it can be established that

cos3A = 4Cos^3 A -3cosA

thus , => 2sinA/2Cos2AcosA = (*)

....( latent simplifications )

hence the proof .
