There is nothing wrong wt the keyboard. Just one key popped off and can be replaced but the key is really not useful in your typing as it's not an important key. Attached is the key that popped off

Ve u migrated ur R5+ successful to EU MIUI ROM?

No but I flashed earlier version of havoc and it works (version 3.1 to be exact)

EU rom is less buggy than AOSP based roms for non geeks. Pained me that I couldn't flash official global stable miui rom through recovery and via Mi flash stool

You know why it didn't work? Cause I was contemplating on flashing official if EU eventually doesn't work

I think they just introduce new tree that they use in building those ROMs, so I said maybe I should flash EU MIUI first to check out

Let me know if you are able to return ur R5 Plus to official Global stable MIUI ROM from your current custom rom.
I tried it then with official Global stable ROM (both recovery and fastboot ROMs) with twrp and orange Fox recovery but no luck. D flashing process failed, stopped at Mi logo (soft bricked) . It did not boot to system. I eventually re flashed CrDroid ROM b4 d phone exchanged hands

I'm thinking maybe I should flash EU, I guess it's all about the new tree blah blah blah sha

I had same issue with crDroid Rom on Redmi 5 Plus Vince . I could only connect to internet with sim 1. Sim 2 was just for call n sms. I have let go of the phone sha

I flashed extended ui, that's when it all started I think then now I'm on havoc and still experiencing it, I have change the SIM several times but any sim that is in the SIM 1 slot won't bring up data but call and other things works

Guys pls I need help, my sim 1 is no more browsing, I mean Everytime I tried to use it as my browsing sim it won't come on, won't even display anything be it h or LTE, I have change ROM like twice now still the same thing

Guys pls suggest a good charger (USB + adapter) to me, my budget is 1.5k or 2k for everything even if it will be waybill. Thanks

here's my review....
Ok the headset set is loud enough.. bass is okay for me
When the volume is half way i can feel some vibration when walking..buh when increased it fades away
During calls it was ok..was clear the person could hear wat was going on around me.. it was not noisy tho but call was ok ..the only thing i dont like it dosent sit well in my ear ..chk second pic.. dont knw how to go about it ..looks like it wants to fall off ..but it dosent probably the size of my ear is the issue

exactly a year now (not sure of the day) I got my redmi 5 plus, it's has been awesome journey, flashed some couple of roms and not stopping yet. I don't use screen guard and my screen is still blazing hot and the body is still sexy.
I will invite y'all for the after party

I think it's base on rom, but normally when you unlock bootloader and flash custom ROM the system will ask for your last password or pattern, you use before you flash and unlock.
but I notice something strange sometime back when I flash a particular ROM, it ask for pattern and my failsafe have always been password, I had to flash another ROM since I couldn't find a work-around it
