Nigerian Immigration Service, Edo
State Command, Bridget Esene, has
said that she was meant to be killed
but her abductors sold her to
suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Esene, who was released by her
abductors on Tuesday, said she
suffered at the hands of the
kidnappers.
Speaking on Wednesday through the
telephone, she said, “The armed men
numbering five trailed me to my
church at Ikhueniro near Benin City
where I was kidnapped.

“I was forced into their car and
driven out of the church premises by
my abductors who later sold me to
another set of kidnappers, who are
suspected herdsmen. I saw hell and l
don’t wish my enemy such.”
She said upon sighting the
kidnappers, she had attempted to
escape but was intercepted at
gunpoint by the hoodlums.
Esene stated that the armed men
later took her into the forest and
some other hardened kidnappers
were on the ground to receive her.

She added, “I was later sold to
another set of gunmen who then took
me deep into the forest.”
Mrs Esene said she was later
rescued by the police and the
vigilante.

Higher institution students are not given credit for trying to solve real life problems. They are taught like primary and secondary school students. Lets imagine a lady gives birth and lost her child and at the same time a the husband's side chick gives birth to a baby. The side chick is not willing to take care of the baby, so the husband arranges with the hospital to present the child to the wife as her kid. after taking care of the kid including supporting paying of school fees, buy of clothes/shoes, going hungry sometimes to ensure the kid have something to eat. I mean the normal sacrifices a mother does for her kid. Then one day a woman appears to claim the child as hers, and DNA test proves she is the mother of the child, child while the husband is the real father. How will you feel?

Nigerian Tribune, Leadership, The Nation, The Cable, Channels and The Guardian were amongst the media outlets that were caught in the hoax.

Checks by Peoples Gazette, however, showed that both the purported EUHRF and Mr. Cullen’s designation do not exist and definitely have no affiliation to the European Union.

An excerpt from the falsified congratulatory message, which appeared to have triggered its circulation was first tweeted by Babangida Buharist (@jarmari01) — a handle linked to President Buhari’s support group BMC, before it was reposted the same day by presidential aide Bashir Ahmad.

The deliberate falsehood perpetuated by the Buhari administration has been severely censured by a cross-section of Nigerians, who cringe at how low the government could stoop in adulating itself with propaganda.

Information minister Lai Mohammed had strongly denounced claims that the abduction was choreographed in a bid to score political points over the preceding administration.

Mr. Mohammed argued that the president, whom he said suffered “many sleepless nights” until the kids were freed, could not have staged their kidnap to deepen the military’s woes.

Rivers and Bayelsa are not willing to be tied to the eastern region again, I don't know of Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom
History is replete with the way the majority tribe treated the minorities in the eastern region. the old Rivers State was at the forefront during the clamour for states creation, and states were created just to appease and win over these people.
