Did someone on the inside help you with info about your passport availability or you went there from time to time till you got it.

No, I gave them enough time before going on that Thursday but Alausa have different day for collection according to your surname eg if your surname start from A is on Mondays

Alausa is till in January as at yesterday 4/5/23 may be you should go by July because I captured in January I got my passport yesterday since March 8 which is my collection date got captured at Alimosho on March 15th, but Alausa does their printing. My printout says May 12th.... which is next week Friday. I hope they have printed my passport sha.

No. I went on same day of capturing and opened a file. Within 3 hours i was done. Don't mind the crowd standing outside, just go straight inside to the receptionist by your right. Make sure you come with all the right documents including NPC birth certificate and your NIN match. I had issues with my NIN so i couldn't captured that day. I captured the next week after i have corrected my name in my NIN.

Finally collected my Passport at Alausa. Captured August, It was due since October but didn't had time to keep checking. Only checked once in September. Didn't pay a naira extra apart from the 25k. They didn't ask me for money either, i just grab my passport, sign, thumbprint and log out. Completely DIY, Only attempt this if you have time like me sha. I knew i wouldn't need it anytime soon.
