I got this response for a job vacancy i applied for last month.


-----Sequel to your application for the position of Customer Service Officer, I am pleased to inform you that your CV was shortlisted for the first stage of the interview.

However, we would appreciate if you can share what you currently earn and your least earning (if you are considered for the role) and also your notice period to your current employer. We would appreciate if your response comes in on or before close of business tomorrow 11th October 2016.

There are two ways to it, you are either upfront and reply with the truth i.e you are currently not working and then go ahead to give the least figure you are asked to give. Or

You tell a white lie, that you are currently helping out in a friend's, family member or 'uncle brother's cousin aunty' store where you don't earn but you are learning the ropes of customer service, you then give the minimum earning you are asked to provide.

It is all about enjoying the process.

Since work experience is what recruiters hammer on the most, and fresh graduates lack that the most, I think they should listen to your advice on how to get it.

Yea it's a nice post but what makes you think fresh graduates don't listen to the advice going by the last few lines of your post? I for one have been consistent in applying for internship positions all to no avail and I am pretty sure there is a sizable number of others doing what I'm doing.

I can relate with the restlessness part, I've got two nieces whose sole purpose is to ensure I go to bed at night totally drained. If this is how training kids looks like, I don't think I want to have kids except if science can provide a means of giving birth to pre teen kids of say 9-10 years

How exactly do you wish to be guided? it would help if you ask specific questions.

My questions are centered around registration but I've been able to get some answers from one of their contact mails. I'll like if you can shed more light on the ones below
1) From one of the pdf files I saw on the website, I noticed my course of study has 1 exemption (A1), to take the 4 remaining papers in the foundation level, is it compulsory I pay for the exempted course as well?

2) I'm planning on taking the exams come May since November is too close, how does subscription payment works, is it annually or how?
When does subscription payment come into play, does it start from when an individual is registered with the body or how?
