I love animals alot cat inclusive but not this short haired type. They get wild as they grow and are known to run away from the owner as they mature. If I can see the foreign long haired cat , I would hurriedly get it.

I kept pigeons, rabbit, chickens and Guinea pigs while I was in primary till my secondary school days.

I have a female GSD currently and intend to get more pets once I get a bigger space.

Please am not the seller of the said dog but am an ardent follower of this section for two years now.I am a dog lover and owner but not a breeder.
I made my comments based on months if observing the Chuck posts.

Knyte criticized constructively, arc bay too which i learnt one or two but what did the Chucky dude add to the thread if not mockery.

My advice to him is that he should always STFU if he has nothing positive to say.And watch reasonable people argue constructively.

Basically, Its quite difficult to determine if a dog is pregnant in the first few weeks of gestation. Watching your dog more closely, you might find some of the following signs.

Discharge from the vulva: This is another sign your dog is pregnant. if you notice a creamy discharge around 3-5 weeks of pregnancy then your dog might be pregnant. this discharge continues till birth and is mostly seen early in the morning.

Change in Nipple color: About four weeks, the color of the nipples begin to turn pink. this is due to the increased level of blood flow in the area. noticing this in a dog that has littered a few times might be a bit difficult, but its easier seen in first timers.

All this and other changes that occurs in your dogs are signs she's pregnant.
some uncommon signs are increased shedding, dog itching a particular spot at the lower part of the belly, and lots more.

Thanks Mr protegee for this info. My dog is seriously showing three of these signs but this I never saw her mate. I took her to a stud but they had to return haler back the next morning because of her aggression on the stud. Rented another male this time to my place and for four days I didn't see any mating. But on Sunday I noticed she is shedding a lot, and no longer plays, always clingy to me when ever i set her free, likes scratching the lower part of her stomach and this morning I noticed a white thick creamy discharge. Could it be that something happened between her and any of the males no one saw?

My bro kuzee I went on sabbatical for sometime. I was almost sacked from work because of my addiction to nairaland,especially pet section. My dog is doing great.

Am so full of regrets right now, I had to return the stud back to the owner after staying at my place for four days and the owner is insisting I pay for services not rendered ooo. I would have come here first before embarking on mating her. Yesterday made it 21 days since she came on heat, she is probably out of heat now.
