Wandeayo: pls guys in the house, i need ur urgent help, i upgraded my 4669 xii decoder with a software i downloaded from a site, after the upgraded, my decoder was unable to start , it ll just blink and off....pls help, what can i do to correct the issue

get urself anoda 4669xii from a friend or neighbour and get urself an rs232 female cable....

1. connect the rs232 from the two decoders
2. on the two decoders
3. go to system setting on the new decoder, search for data transfer
4. click on it, select the first bar option
5. wait 4 it to load......it will then ask you to connect stb.. then,
6. on the dead decoder......
7. it will load till 100%
then your decoder will be alive again.... happy hunting

obnelly: Viasat1 ghana and etv hyde park on old nss7 c band and astra 4.8 ku band will give you thr best of barca v chelsea tonight with good picture quality better than mbc mauritus on w3a.viva fta.

bonelly pls give correct tps and frequencies. the last time Viasat 1 was not popping green as of last week.

for more than 3 hours my w3a refuse to green with my 60cm dish. i got signal 44-53%,54% even close to 60% yet its still red, what could be wrong? the thing don dey tire me.

use an hd lnb like eurovision n u will be fine. My mbc is fine eventhough quality level has reduced (52-53) from 59 but am using a strong lnb with 90cm dish. But u can use 60cm dish with hd lnb if signal improves with mbc. Thank u

Tried tweaking and only got it to 59% and i'm using 90cm dish with strong LNBF.
I'll change the LNBF when d money for dat comes, but between sirus and w3, which one is more interesting?

both are interesting but w3a is more patronised because of MBC 1,3 with football matches in english commentary. but if u r interested in French the best option is Sirius 4 or astra 4a with Francophone music, French ligue 1 as well as Hip hop and RnBs (stv 1). Viva for life

This super max sucks. I used strong for more than 3 years on a 90cm dish for both w3a and Atra4A. I changed to Supermax with the hope of getting improve signal/quality for MBC and TVmalagasc, to my s uprise, its only Vox africa, canal benin etc thats only showing.

I wonder if 90cm can still receive MBC and TVmalgasca anylonger

toba pls use eurovision hd lnb n u'll be fine. 60cm is receiving mbc signal therefore, u shld not suffer using 90cm. thanks

@all use 60 cm dish along side a eurovision lnb to track w3a, it is possible try it. signal ranges btn 63-4 (zimbo) 56 (mbc) viva for life,

Hello all. I was able to track the w3a, how ever i cant get mbc. I only get some arabic and african channels. I used a satellite meter, which showed its locked on w3a. Am using a strong 4669x. Any idea what could be wrong?

@ stiyke u cannot receive w3a with 60cm dish. it is best viewed with a 90cm dish. N.B. try tracking w3a in the evening to get mbc 1, 3 loud and clear with the other channels. thank you.

@ Timothy i dont know why you want to do dat, but to restore factory settings, GO TO MENU AND SELECT SYSTEM SETTINGS, ENTER PIN (0000), GO TO DATABASE RESET, ENTER PIN (0000), SELECT FACTORY RESET, and wait you are done. thank you

@waczy try and contact a pro. installer for him to install and learn from him coz u cannot start with w3a as a first practice lookin at the way u r suffering. A novice would not know the degrees of sats. there should be installers at your location 2 help u. thank u.

@all etv(SA) feed can only be received on Sirius 4 when u have gud signal like 90% upwards, then blindscan. dat means 2 get etv, u must forgo w3a on 1 dish. thank u.

Pls Stevo, srt 4669x or xii is not a multi tv decoder but strong. to enable sound u must update the decoder. pls specify this by telling us your model type whether 4669x or 4669xii or 4669z then lets proceed. YOU MUST BE SPECIFIC TO GET HELP ON THIS THREAD. THANK YOU.

N:B this tp 12728 30000 v/h must hit its highest quality for mbc to pop out. like say u get that tp to be 65, tweek the lnb n it will move up to say 72 then blind scan. mbc= [11192 v/h 3209] tvm=[10978 v 3333].
