Religion / MUST READ: Doctor Narrates His Lovely And Scary Near-death Experience by AhlexOfficial(m): 1:48pm On Sep 12, 2019
A certain doctor identified as Dr. Maxvayshia has taken to twitter to share his experience during his brief excursion to the land of the dead where he claimed to have experienced almost an opposite of what is been preached on earth as "Life After Death"

Read his tweets below ;

Dr. Maxvayshia
@maxvayshia

I will share it here someday maybe.....for those who care to listen.

Between 8pm and 9pm today when i am settled from work, i will share it. Just bookmark this tweet and wait pls. I hope you all benefit from this.

So it was around 1pm on the 30th of March, 2017, a week after i applied for the Job i am currently on. This day was supposed to be the day of my death. I had been ill for the past 48hrs. Yes, uncle brief illness, that guy, yea.

I was lying on my bed, very weak...

..after taking my meds. A few minutes later, it was like my soul was being sucked away from my body. Then and there, i knew this was it. I knew i was going. My journey on earth was to come to an end. I wanted to know the time of my departure so i checked my watch. I always have..

...my watch on. It was 1.04pm. Called my younger brother to give him my last (weak) words. They all watched helplessly as i was beginning to stretch. "Let's take him to the hospital!!" I could hear my niece scream. With my last breathe, i whispered to my brother to tell Dad...

That it has been a honor walking this Earth alongside him. That i was proud to.... I didn't finish the sentence before all went dark. I felt myself being sucked through a huge pipe seemingly filled with flowing clean water. It all happened fast. But something was not right....

I felt different. All i could hear was crying and wailing at a distance but here i was alone in a huge quiet beautiful hall. "Where am i oo?" What is this place? I looked around. No one. I proceeded to open one of the doors and i was seeing my room, my siblings shaking me up....

Tapping me to wake up. The body was me, dead, lifeless but i could feel the connection between i and that body, but here i was feeling lighter, much more alive. This body was sooo beautiful and bright. O didn't like the lifeless one. "Ewwww". I had mixed feelings....

Fear, anxiety and joy. Before i could even reach out to any of them to say i am here, i felt so sleepy and it was like i slept off for a few seconds.

I opened my eyes to a different scenario but still, at a distance, I could hear: "Get dad on d phone" but i was less concerned..

What caught my attention was where i was when i woke up. A whole world filled with beautiful children whose beauty, words on this earth cannot describe. The orderliness and sereneness of the meadows and landscape filled my breasts with indescribable peace and welcome...

I was of course generally confused. Where is this? Certainly not paradise

Everyone there was between the ages of 3 and 23. Among the flowers and gardens, i could see what our world would describe as gnomes, fairies. In my mind i was identifying them since i remembered...

That i was familiar with them in the movies on earth. Indescribably beautiful creatures. A lady approached me, with a smile on her face, carrying a basket of what looks like dairy products and exquisite fruits but they don't look like what we have on earth here...

I mean, what is the most beautiful shade of red you have seen on earth? Beside these colours, our earth's most beautiful colors look like badly mixed water colour. She asked me if i am new to this city. Very pleasant woman (i remember her face). I explained what had happened..

She laughed and welcomed me but asked if i was leaving immediately. In my mind was like "Are you for real? Someone who doesn't even know where he is. Lol. The surprising thing is that SHE COULD READ MY THOUGHTS! She smiled again and said i shouldn't worry that they....

All passed through this phase when they died. I was shook. She said she would show me around. I then felt something tapping the nape of my neck, it was a FAIRY from one of the gardens. I said "Oh a fairy!" I looked around, they were many. The woman was a bit surprised that...

I knew about fairies and asked if i know all the species. I said well yes, to a fair degree. She told me to look up. It was then i saw that what we have here on earth as clouds were filled with fairies, gnomes, nixies, and the rivers were shiny. Water here is not like the water..

We have on Earth. No. The colours there, i believe cannot be painted of described by the best artists. I asked if this was paradise, the laugh from the children and everyone made me feel ashamed. They said this is Oakshire (spelt as heard), a plane of existence not far from...

The Earth and that paradise is still light years away from there. Omg!

She said she would take me to neighbouring cities. I wanted to start walking when i found myself with her in another exquisitely and indescribably beautiful city. I asked how we got here so fast....

She said here in this world, you just think about the place you want to be and you are there. As long as it is within that same plane. People here moved at the speed of thought!

As we were proceeded, i heard a very loud thunderous voice calling my name. It was my dad....

Who had driven from work distances away, driving like a mad man on getting to hear of my demise. He called my name in d name of the Almighty! The lady smiled again and said it looks like it is not yet my time. I said it is! I didn't want to return!!

She said my time will come...

But it apparently is not now. But why? I felt more alive there than on that dirty earth. Lol.

Before I could reply her, a sharp light from just east of our direction opened up, like a portal and i was like sucked into it and it felt like i was caried on a sea of wool....

In a split second, i was back on earth. First face i saw was dad's face with his hand on my forehead and sweating profusely. Apparently whatever he did zapped his strength. All of it. He then offered me a hand and said "Stand up son!"

I was both filled with joy and frustration..

Why bring me back??

I then noticed i couldn't move my body. IT WAS ALL STIFF!!

See jubilation and relief, see hugs, painful hugs cos my body has still. I didn't know how to use it anymore. I asked how long i had been gone, they said 45mins!! Brain dead. I couldn't recognize...

Some faces and places in the house. I had to learn how to use my body again and recollect some faces and names. I was on brain drugs for a while.

Next day, i got a call that i was to come for discussion.....

Let me post these ones first before typing the concluding part....

So it was that my employer, the CEO of my organization, oblivious of what had happened and uncharacteristic of her, decided to interview me HERSELF. What a wawu! But the truth is, i recollected her and who she was but it was my brothers who actually tild me i applied to that...

Place for a job before i passed on. I had little recollection of Medicine or Surgery but i remembered i was a Doctor. I was just lucky she didn't mention anything medical, i would have flopped big time even after passing the first interview and impressing her more....

Attitude-wise than expertise-wise. The whole scenario was just unbelievable and interesting. An experience i will never forget. I will take with me to the grave.

Anyone who tells you there is no life after death has sure deceived you and u either realise it now or later...

..to your shock. Quoting the quran or bible verses wouldn't change anything here. I do hope one or to people can gain something from my personal experience of death.

This is my story, my experience.

My story is told, my work is done. ✏️✏️

Politics / How PDP Agents Travelled To Cambridge To Check Out Buhari’s Ceritificate by AhlexOfficial(m): 4:40pm On Sep 07, 2019
As the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal kicked off few months ago, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) sent a team of lawyers and other party agents to the University of Cambridge to confirm the authenticity of the West African School Certificate (WASC) of President Muhammadu Buhari.

A Cambridge source said that the opposition party did not only send a delegation but also made a request seeking potential evidence, citing doubts about the authenticity of the President’s WASC results.

The source said that the PDP representatives who visited Cambridge were stunned to discover that the President did write the examination, passed and were even dumbfounded when they cited the well kept records of the Cambridge University.

The source said even the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and associates requested Cambridge provide them with a confirmation of his certificate.

“Cambridge Assessment International Education had to issue a certifying statement that indeed President Buhari sat for his examinations in 1961. It was because the institution was inundated with requests for the verification of his result.”

The source said the institution is surprised that the opposition party still claims that the President does not have a certificate even after it had demanded for it and was handed evidence.

This revelation from Cambridge is coming amid the circulation on Friday of a pre-2015 election video, slanted to give the impression that the President’s certificate is still a contentious issue.

In a press statement on Friday by Oladele Peter, the Secretary of Initiative to Save Democracy (ISD) said it is sub judice for the opposition party to continue to make attempts at preempting the judgment of the Presidential Election Tribunal.

“The desperation of the PDP is frightening, very frightening to say the least. They will stop at nothing and I expect Nigerians to be aware of their antics by now. They have peddled all kind of falsehood against the President especially the claim that he does not have a certificate but have always failed.”

He noted that the first attempt to ridicule the President was in 2014 before the 2015 elections, stressing that, if they have any evidence contrary to what has been presented in court and what they themselves discovered at Cambridge and which was tendered in the open court, they should present it.

“The PDP is free to present its counter-evidence if there is any but they know that there is no such document or evidence. They are only playing on the emotions of Nigerians by peddling fake news; a 2015 video deliberately slanted. It is time Nigerians become more aware of this,” he said.

Mr Peter said it is another signal of desperation that the opposition party has even gone to the extent of populating an old video in which the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed was deliberately taken out of context.

“This is a very old video, for those of us who watch Channels TV we were stunned to see the video making the rounds, it’s old and ridiculous. If you watch the video, you will find that Mr. Mohammed never said they should pardon the President, instead he said if someone does not find his or her certificate after 53 years they could be pardoned.

According to him, “it is unbelievable how the opposition party and its backers continue to push a media campaign hoping to confuse everybody, yet in the court of law, their case was clearly shown to be hopeless and baseless.”

Besides the Cambridge University Certificate the President’s lawyer, Wole Olanipekun also presented in court class photos of the President and his classmates. The Cambridge University Certificate was obtained personally by the President’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari who travelled to the UK to secure it in mid-July.

While Malam Suleman Mai-adua, Buhari’s classmate in Katsina Provincial Secondary School presented to the court the group photograph of the school’s class six of 1961 set.

Politics / Tribunal Affirms Election Of Ovie Omo-Agege by AhlexOfficial(m): 3:11pm On Sep 07, 2019
The Delta State National Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Asaba, the capital, on Saturday upheld the election of the Deputy Senate President and lawmaker representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege.

Evelyn Oboro, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the 2019 general elections for the senatorial district, had filed a petition challenging the victory of Omo-Agege, the All Progressives Congress candidate.

In a unanimous judgement delivered on Saturday, the panel dismissed Oboro's petition on the ground that the petition lacked merit and the petitioner could not prove her case beyond reasonable doubt.

Sports / Nigeria: D'tigers Inch Closer To Tokyo 2020 Olympics After Defeating Cote D'ivoi by AhlexOfficial(m): 1:46pm On Sep 07, 2019
Nigeria men basketball team, D'Tigers defeated their fierce West African rivals, Cote D'Ivoire 83-66 points in their first classification game at the ongoing 2019 FIBA World Cup in yet another impressive performance.

The team was inspired by Al-Farouq Aminu with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to emerge the top performer.

D'Tigers who have since set their target on an automatic Olympic Games qualification started in a fierce fashion to win the first quarter, 24-18 points.

Not to be outdone and inspired by Deon Thompson, the Ivorians stepped up their offensive play to win the second quarter, 17-13points as the first half ended with just two points advantage for D'Tigers, 37-35pts.

Some crucial treys from Nnamdi Vincent and Stan Okoye proved decisive in the 3rd quarter against the familiar foes who were not ready to roll over without a fight.

Vincent contributed 15 points, 2 rebounds while Ekpe Udoh had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist in a match that 5 players scored double digits.

Commenting after the game, Head Coach, Alex Nwora again praised the team for beautifully executing the game plan.

"I think we did a good job today to contain a well-coached Ivorian team. I am proud of these guys and their efforts. I think we have one more game to worry about against China on Sunday".

The win is the 6th by Nigeria in as many as seven meetings between both sides.

As it stands, the team is the highest ranked African at the World Cup ahead of their last game against host- China, and a win will see them book a place in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Religion / Benny Hinn Renounces Prosperity Gospel, Says ‘holy Ghost Is Just Fed Up With It by AhlexOfficial(m): 1:09pm On Sep 07, 2019
Popular Israeli televangelist, Pastor Benny Hinn has stunned everyone by stating that the word of the lord is not for sale therefore Christians should not pay money to pastors before they receive blessing.

His statement is shocking because his fame and money largely rest on this same thing, perhaps he has realized how wrong it’s and wants to depart from it.

In that direction, that he announced that he is undergoing a correction of his theology that made him and his family millions.

He disclosed that he will never ask for $1,000 or whatever amount again because he is of the view the Holy Ghost is just fed up with it.

He revealed that some Pastors may not invite him to their churches again to preach and raise money for “church projects”, Benny added that the Gospel “is not for sale.”

“I’m sorry to say that prosperity has gone a little crazy and I’m correcting my own theology and you need to all know it. Because when I read the Bible now, I don’t see the Bible in the same eyes I saw 20 years ago,” Hinn said as his followers rejoiced.

I think it’s an offense to the Lord, it’s an offense to say give $1,000. I think it’s an offense to the Holy Spirit to place a price on the Gospel. I’m done with it. I will never again ask you to give $1,000 or whatever amount, because I think the Holy Ghost is just fed up with it.

Did you hear me?” Hinn asked as his audience responded affirmatively in high spirits.

“I think it hurts the Gospel, so I’m making this statement for the first time in my life and frankly, I don’t care what people think about me anymore,” he stated.

“When they invite me to telethons I think they will not like me anymore. Because when you look at the word of God … if I hear one more time, break the back of debt with $1,000, I’m gonna rebuke them. I think that’s buying the Gospel. lalasticlala.

That’s buying the blessing. That’s grieving the Holy Spirit. … If you are not giving because you love Jesus, don’t bother giving,” Hinn argued. “I think giving has become such a gimmick; it’s making me sick to my stomach,” he added.

Politics / He Said That? These Are Mugabe’s Most Memorable Quotes by AhlexOfficial(m): 3:32pm On Sep 06, 2019
Robert Mugabe the longtime Zimbabwean president is dead.

Mugabe died on September 6, 2019 at the age of 95. He had been hospitalized in Singapore since April where he had been receiving treatment.

After ruling Zimbabwe for 30 years, his final years in power were characterized by financial collapse, violent intimidation and vicious power struggle.

Mugabe was ousted from power in November 17, 2017. He has left behind memorable quotes that address different issues across the world.

Here are a few:

Taking Obama on his stand on homosexuality

“We have this American president, Obama, born of an African father, who is saying we will not give you aid if you don’t embrace homosexuality. We ask, was he born out of homosexuality? We need continuity in our race, and that comes from the woman, and no to homosexuality.” -2003

On Tony Blair

“We have fought for our land, we have fought for our sovereignty, small as we are we have won our independence and we are prepared to shed our blood … So, Blair keep your England, and let me keep my Zimbabwe. We are still exchanging blows with the British government. They are using gay gangsters against me.”-2000

On Adolf Hitler

“I am still the Hitler of the time. This Hitler has only one objective, justice for his own people, and sovereignty for his people, and recognition of the independence of his people. If that is Hitler, then let me be a Hitler tenfold.”-2010

On the economy

“Our economy is a hundred times better than the average African economy. Outside South Africa, what country is [as good as] Zimbabwe? … What is lacking now are goods on the shelves – that is all.” – 2007

On a successor

“Grooming a successor, is it an inheritance? In a democratic party, you don’t want leaders appointed that way. They have to be appointed properly by the people.” – 2016

On staying in office

“Some are saying ‘Mr Mugabe is old, so he should step down’… No! When my time comes, I will tell you.” 2014
