As long as the visa has not expired or cancelled, you can always travel to the U.S regardless of the original purpose of travel. However, the visa does not guarantee you entry, but allows you travel to the port of entry and request permission to enter the United States. It is the sole responsibility of U.S. (CBP) officials to permit or deny admission and determine how long you may stay.

I have 2 questions. Please anyone that can help.

1. I applied for us visa December 2015, planned to travel in March 2016 but haven't used it since then as I lost my grandpa early in 2016 January. I was out of the country last year to UK in may to see my family and to mourn. This year I intend using the visa with my wife to be when we marry later in the year for honeymoon as i was single when I got it. Will there be any issues?

2. My wife to be went for interview yesterday and she was successful. She interviewed as a single lady. She picked isolo as pick up but the VO circled VI for her to pick up. Will it be shipped to isolo or VI. Please help

One of the requirements for the visa is tax clearance certificate and when I requested it from my employer, I was told to go submit dat there is no individual remittance by the company. You need to renew your passport. UKVI standard is 6 months validity minimum.

Here's my case and I need some guidance please.

I'm a first time applicant, married Dec 2014 and going on holiday to a family friend's who is a permanent resident but without my husband. I have included all necessary documents including an introductory letter from my employer. My net income per month is 390k. However, I am worried because I do not have a tax clearance certificate, although it is stated very clearly in my payslip that tax is deducted from my salary monthly. I head the HR unit in my organization, so doing a letter from the HR unit stating that I pay my taxes doesn't seem like a good plan to me. Unfortunately, I'm going to the embassy first thing tomorrow morning and I only just started hearing this tax thing today. I'll appreciate if you can guide me. Please also share what you think of my chances. I'm not a first time traveller although I haven't been to either the US or the UK before.

I now intend going March to spend Easter with my family brothers and sisters based in the UK. And I intend to spend 3 weeks. I hope it's safe to do so or I just stick to my 2weeks?
