Hmmm.....finally I have to actually comment on this thread. I ve been a follower of this thread ever since i stumbled ON IT. Peoples comments here made me to actually watch healer.....I wanted to see that guy that could actually take over my likeness for LMH....lol....since i watched city hunter I cudnt stop looking for that guys movie. Thank God for this thread sha.....after watching healer....i wanted to see that guy's movie AGAIN. I read comments about Empress Ki but i kept ignoring it cos I dont really like MOVIES with village settings....and with the lenght of empress ki...i didnt want to go for it...but finally I tried watching the series and wow....the series was sos so good...made me sleep late cos of the urge to know wat wud happen next.... It however got me tinking cos i dont think ive seen a movie where almost all the major casts died. I kinda felt bad/sad somehow sha. But these koreans are actually very good. I dont know how but they make sure they get one glued to their movies that you will want to see the end.
And thumbs up to u guys here. For u guys to even know them by name its means uve really gone far in watchin their movies. Thanks to u guys am becoming less LMH and more JWC. Am really lookin forward to his other movies/series. Am not really attached to any of their girls but that empress ki babe...menh she is good....she's same girl in secret garden I tink.....I tink shes the only korean girl ive seen without the 'DEAD FISH KISS' as u guys call it

Lol, Ahjumma Healer didn't get a makeover, she simply cleaned up nice. As for PMY having a makeover did you really see any difference? Just new dress and makeup. No drastic alterations of her look or hairdo.

I also enjoy Cinderella dramas, just that I love seeing the stages and process behind the scenes of the programs we watch on TV, competition for a certain time slot etc.

They probably make them have bad hair days so the average Korean woman can relate. Besides, many actresses want to be known for their acting rather than good looks. Except the drama is about 'looks' like BoaB, if it's a girl-next-door role, bad hair all the way.
Besides, it makes a 'make over' appear better. You know those times the guy gives her a make over and she steps out looking stunning, and the male lead is like *opens moutb and eyeballs increase in size* " So, you're this beautiful..."

Funny enough, out of the 100 'makeovers' I've seen in a Kdrama, only 3 or 4 were really a drastic improvement. The rest 97 looked just the same as they were before jare, just with better clothes lol

You are so correct: for 'girl next door' characters I understand why they would play down her looks with a bad hairdo all thru the drama like PMY in Healer (I say it again, it was really unflattering!!) but somehow her beauty was still mesmerising

It's good though when I see truly beautiful actress allowed to showcase her looks in a drama. Like That Winter The Wind Blows woow. Now I know who's Korea's most beautiful.

A combo of my bias and the storyline. I love anything that has to do with the happenings in Broadcasting networks. Can I really keep my expectations on a low? Highly recommended, but highly doubtful lol.

By the way...just wondered why these days, they give the female leads such unflattering haircuts. As if to downplay their attractiveness. Making them look 'plainer' so they will appeal to everyday women who will relate to them?

Happened in Healer with Park Min Young. Gave her a short, asymmetrical bob that made her look like a girlish boy

The woman in Falling for Innocence has a hair style that makes her look far older

In Masked Prosecutor, the leading lady as a weird pixie cut too. They no want make their female leads fine pass them abi, these male actors

Just my observation anyway.

This May June is bombarded with awesome dramas and you just have to take your pick. Being who I am I know I probably won't watch more than 2 or 3 of these upcoming dramas - maybe less, but I just wanted to note that they are ALL fabulous in their own rights and we may have a few we are rooting for thanks to the leads, the supporting cast, the storyline or just no reason

The ones I'm definitely watching out for...

I've been online all morning looking for any new detail or trivia from the drama. Never in my life have I been so geared up about a drama, and to think I was advising you yesterday to play it cool with Masked Prosecutor.

Yep, you got it bad for this drama. I wish I knew exactly what excites you the most about it---your bias Kim Soo Hyun, the whole cast, the storyline? It reminds me too much of Pinocchio, and the pairings of the leads are soooo random. It bothers me. I will support it for Gong Hyo Jin, but I don't have high expectations. You should keep yours reined in



Don't worry when Scholar Who Walks the Night is about to start, you can tease me back LMAO

I like her sarcasm. Of course it would have been nice if he paid for her, but he didn't and she simply used the word 'punished' in a light way. Not like she'd enter a cab with hope of someone else paying. Who does that.

The guy is not serious jare. If he'd paid for her as well as the others she might have been touched by his effort and given her number.

Giving a guy your number doesn't guarantee you have to date him or even pick his call. Sometimes just humor them, after one or two or hundred calls they will give up the wasted effort. And if he turns out to be your kind of guy, then it's win win.

I just now am about finished watching them both in That Winter, The Wind Blows. I'm halfway thru the last episode. They look so perfect together. But I read that they are just friends not that they ever dated, but they are close.

It would be great if Producer was full of cameos. That will make me definitely watch. The Hong Sisters, the famous writers behind this drama, I noticed like using top actors for cameos. They did it in Master's Sun and The Greatest Love.

Hwang Sun hee, I see from her profile she was in Master's Sun. I don't really know the cast accept for JSW. I like his serious side (Good Doctor) and his dorky side (Birth of a Beauty). I'm eager to see what next.

He had paid 100% upfront even without asking for milestone. The guy was so nice as he loved the pace and quality of work that he gave me a bonus of 1000 Philippine Peso. na im freelancer bounced on top of it and deducted 100 Philippine Peso as their own cut. and forwarded me $109.13 as my total pay!

Its good you dumped the project. Everyone knows their rep now so it would not look too bad that you have one or two abandoned projects.

Just avoid them in future and never do those off site interactions thru email unless you are close to the client. Do everything thru Freelancer and make sure the 100% milestone has been paid even before pressing that ACCEPT PROJECT button.

You don't need to take any tests. As for your profile, what is missing? If it's something you can fill-in easily why not just fill in the details they want, like portfolio and CV, education bio and such? My Bro has only half filled his profile and he withdraws all the time

I know the normal exchange rate is much higher than going through hisenjos method but considering its saving me a lot of stress and effort I just put it down as necessary cost. Until I get my card back.

Hello all, one rajat07me offered me a job to write 500 words articles for $1.25. I'm to write about 2500 words per day and the contract, as he says, should last for a month. Out of beginner's naivety, I accepted the project. Yesterday, I received my first two jobs on the project. The jobs were two 1000 words articles which I was instructed to submit in 20 hours. However, I quickly realised that the jobs were not worth the pay at all. In fact, the time it took me working on them almost made me not the deadlines set for me on the two other (better paying) jobs I'm presently handling, plus the fact that the said rajat07me is quite overbearing in his mode of communication. Another issue is that the jobs were sent to me by mail, and the said rajat07me insisted I submit by mail, without making provisions for payment, which I initially objected to, but had to succumb after viewing the myriad of positive reviews on his profile. However, though I have submitted the first of the two articles, but he has not acknowledged receipt ever since. Thus, I didn't bother sending in the second and the deadline for submission has since elapsed. I want to opt out of the project. Is this possible? Especially considering the fact that the price on the initial bid made by the said rajat07me was $88 and freelancer have already deducted $8.8 from my balance. I'm really confused on which step to take now. Peeps in the house should please help out brother. Thanks all.

I just h8 these kinds of people. This has happened to me in the beginning. I didn't just let it go though. I made sure I stalked the client's profile and bid on all his jobs so that I could badmouth him in the message box where people could see I even stated that the user was using a fake country, that he is not from US but from one of those Indian Asian countries. It was after those complaints and the ones I sent to Freelancer that I noticed Freelancer found a way to make sure you can't choose a fake country in your profile mission accomplished!!!

----- I normally use my debit card but this was an emergency so I was really glad. Also, it saves me having to go to the local bank and deposit my cash lol. While I wait for a new card I'll be using this option. My last one was compromised hackers.

He was not that bad in frozen flower,just that i had problem with his unclad scenes.

Well well I had no probs with any of his scenes both clad and unclad ^^

I just felt for the role he didn't fit. He was too manly and stiff. Joo Jin Mo was not convincing an actor in that film at all. I much preferred Lee Jun Ki in King's Clown. He and his costar killed it, even though the whole idea is different.

I just transacted a withdrawal through him yesterday. It was very smooth and painless lol. I didn't even have to leave the house, saw my deposit right in my balance.

Steps
- Contact him. I used his WhatsApp contact.
- He will give you a PayPal ID to use for withdrawal straight from your Freelancer account
- wait a day or two for the withdrawal to be processed from Freelancer
- Once you are your Freelancer account has been debited of the needed amount you can be sure he will convey your funds into your account same day. Mainly in minutes

Today is Wednesday, one of the days for applying for withdrawal on Freelancer (the next will be Sunday). If you do a withdrawal application today you can get your money on Friday. I definitely recommend @hisenjos.
