I looked at section 51 (1 and 2) as quoted in the document you posted, I did not see where it granted the minister of works such powers as stated.
From your link
(2) The powers of a Governor under this Act shall, in respect of land comprised in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, or any land held or vested in the Federal Government in any State, be exercisable by the President or any Minister designated by him in that behalf and references in this Act to Governor shall be construed accordingly.

The president or ministers cannot give C of O in states, except Abuja of course.
This is untrue Sir. The Federal Government owns land in all states of the federation. You may wish to refer to the Land Use Act or better still see the attached picture as evidence.

Nothing. I meant he should redirect his advice to the Governors who are the "land owners".

I already have FG this advice last year I hope they adhere to it fully as the president has started facing the agricultural sector properly
Refer to the Land Use Act. RUGA plan failed because the "land owners" were not willing.

Hello
For sea shipping on aliBaba
Pls how long does it usually take for you to receive your order ?
What I am buying is at least 400Kg kn weight
Airfreight won't be okay for it
And I don't think I should use services like SPEEDAF since package is big and heavy
Sea shipping can take between 4 to 8 weeks from China.

I've forgotten NIPOST.

All my packages are now delivered by Speedaf, so far.
It depends on the location of the store. If the seller is located in Hong Kong, your package is likely to be shipped via Singapore Post or Netherlands Post through NIPOST.

Speedaf handles packages from China Mainland.

IzunnaOkafor:
A new wave of competition has hit Nigeria’s telecommunications space, as a fresh mobile operator, Mafab Communications Limited, officially joins the ranks of telecom service providers in the country, launching with a brand-new number range — 0724 — a development seen by many as a major challenge to the dominance of long-established operators like MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile.
The 0724 number series was assigned to Lebara.

Phones › MVNOs Set For Operations by aieromon(op): 2:26pm On Jun 18, 2025
Vitel Wireless (0712 number series) plans for a full rollout in July 2025.

Nigeria’s first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), Vitel Wireless, has broken new ground once again by announcing the successful completion of interconnectivity with all major Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in Nigeria.

The firm is the first MVNO to receive a dedicated number series (0712) from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), marking a significant milestone in the country’s telecommunications industry.

With its new feat of completing interconnectivity with all major network operators in Nigeria, all Vitel Wireless subscribers can now make and receive calls with users on MTN Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, Globacom (Glo), and 9mobile Nigeria.

The breakthrough also marks the first time an MVNO in the country has successfully interconnected with all the major MNOs, setting a new precedent for Nigeria’s telecom sector.

Politics › Re: Lagos Free Zone Gets US Support, Investments by aieromon(m): 8:12am On Jun 18, 2025
I used to be a skeptic of the LFZ and Eko Atlantic City project.

The US bought into the vision and I was sold 💯

Kudos to the Jagaban of Borgu.

On his first day in office, Tinubu already had a plan of action in form of a comprehensive development blueprint that will not only rebuild Lagos but set it on a path of sustainable growth. Today, there is hardly any developmental project going in the state that does not have the imprimatur of Tinubu, as in the development master plan for Lagos put together by his administration.

Nothing else speaks to the boldness and rightness of Tinubu’s creative ideas than the brand new city sprouting out of the Atlantic ocean and the rapid urbanisation along the Lekki-Epe-Ibeju corridor.

He envisioned the Lekki Free Trade Zone, the $3.5billion Lekki Deep Seaport as a sprawling industrial corridor to revitalise the economy of the state. The Free Trade Zone is home to the $17 billion Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex and other multinational companies. It was hard work and not sheer luck that made Lagos’ GDP balloon to over $150 billion within 20years. If Lagos were to be a sovereign country, it will be the 6th largest economy in Africa. What could possibly be a better testament of Tinubu’s leadership ingenuity than this feat!

Let’s shift our focus to the Eko Atlantic City, a new international city of commerce, which has been described as one of the top five engineering feats in the world. A smart city with the full compliments and trappings of modernity, Eko Atlantic City, according to information gleaned from its website, is “standing on 10 million square metres of land reclaimed from the ocean and protected by an 8.5-kilometre long sea wall. The city will be the size of Manhattan’s skyscraper district. In addition, it will be self-sufficient and self-sustainable and will boast a state-of-the-art urban design, its power generation, clean water, advanced telecommunications, spacious roads and tree-lined streets”.

Pre-1999, the Ahmadu Bello Way, the stretch of the street facing the Eko Atlantic City and, indeed, almost the whole of Victoria Island, had become an eyesore. The ocean surge had practically washed off the Ahmadu Bello Way and parts of Victoria Island. Multibillion naira structures, including states’ liaison offices and other business concerns on adjoining streets within that axis, including Bishop Oluwole, Adetokunbo Ademola, Akin Adesola etc had relocated elsewhere. The story is different today. What was hitherto described as a “disaster zone” has become a multi-billion dollar city of prosperity, thanks to a man who dares to dream big.

Not unexpectedly, blue chips big multinationals and embassies have found a new abode in the city by constructing mega and eye-popping structures. The United States embassy announced recently that it is building its new $300 million campus inside the Eko Atlantic City. The developmental vision that propelled Asiwaju Tinubu as governor of Lagos state is in sync with the model that turned Dubai into a global trade and tourist haven within five decades.

Again in 2023,I booked Air peace to Akure from Lagos for a total of 3 people including my kids coming from UK for holiday. Our flight was shifted thrice or so.. On the day of the flight the informed me that the Plane will go from Lagos to Abuja..then go to Ilorin.. Before we go to Akure. I began to wonder why we need to tour the whole of Nigeria before going to Akure.
A similar scenario played out early last month.

Hello,

A friend relocated abroad but was still using his airtel line for WhatsApp to stay in touch with his contacts. He woke up one day and his line has been sold out to someone else in Nigeria. He contacted airtel but they said nothing can be done.
This line is registered to his bank accounts, bvn and nin. What can he do to retrieve it?
The line has been recycled because it was inactive for 90 days. WhatsApp doesn't count as usage.

The number cannot be retrieved.

It is not my job to help you read the owners manual on your car... Now Most modern cars are now using 0w20 and some even 0w6 to 0w16..... It is the responsibility of car owner to follow and read owner..
manual ...
If it existed, you wouldn't have hesitated to provide evidence.

dru23:
Now with 15w50 you only change oil 10k miles and spend only 67k
😳😳😳

dru23:
That been said, if car owners want to dey continue using 20w50 fine by me. But I can still save them money at the same time .. you do the math.......
Sure, as long as you smile straight to the bank. You must care so much about 20W50 users to provide them with an oil weight that you confessed "offers the same protection".

Anyway, your business, your problem. Happy sales!

Don't get me wrong.. I still don't support support the use 20w50 especially if it is not recommended by the manufacturer .........

15w50 rans better at cold temperature than 20w50. But 15w50 and 20w50 rans equally at higher temperature.... 15w50 offers the same protection as 20w50 ,but you save money and time by using 15w50

20w50 will need to change more often at every 3k miles or less. While 15w50 can be change at every 10k miles.. I will advise every 7k

For the 20w50 fantastics . This is for you .. we are here to save you money and time....

Compare the cost and decide.....
Honestly, this shalaye is not necessary.

How can you recommend this oil to a 20w50 user? The same users you have demonised on this forum? grin

calculation:
On this forum, any talk concerning 20W50 always received talk down from you due to bad effect on modern engine. Why do you want to promote this viscosity of oil 15W50? To me, all your talk is to promote sale of what you sell. To your question, DON'T bring it because that is not what you preach.
At the end, it all boils down to putting food on the table.
