But will they hear and pay him the money? |
This Reno guy has become something else these days. Well, I feel for those who are cheering his delusion. |
Sometimes you wonder if these guys a living in the moon. But of course party loyalty comes first and that is the start of our problem. When party is put even first before real governance and the governed you hear all manner of lies. Kalu is only playing politics. See my siggy jare for investment |
Flags are just flying at half mast upandown. Anyways RIP to them dead persons. See my siggy for real investment. |
Since the assumption of office by Governor Hope Uzodinma, the once peaceful IMO state have become a den of death and blood, kidnap and unwarranted attacks. We have seen the emergence of dare devil gun wielding and hardened criminals taking turn to prove a point in their killing spree. Traditional rulers, politicians and common citizens have been hit by this ugly trend without any political, religious or cultural will to end this madness. It is no longer news that if there is any peace in IMO state today, that can best be described as the peace of the grave yard. In all fairness, Hope Uzodinma whether guilty of all that has befallen imo people or not has shown the highest level of negligence and incompetent to the situation on ground and so deserves a vote of no confidence. Recall, that Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra states also shared in the mindless terror which has gradually snowbolled into a normal phenomenon in IMO state today. But the difference is that the governors of the above mentioned state took bold steps, made concerted efforts to end insecurity in their various states atleast to the bearest minimum but only Hope Uzodinma. Hope Uzodinma must be reminded again in case he has forgotten that he is the chief security officer of the state at least for now whether he actually won the election that brought him into Douglass house or by the act of the Supreme court imposition. Which ever one, he must own up, man up and discharge his primary and first constitutional responsibility as a governor which is to protect lives and properties of the good people of IMO state. Personally, I am fed up with the blood bath in IMO state. I am tired of the kidnapping and endless insecurity. The trend is no longer acceptable and should be condenmed by all lovers of peace, freedom and right to life. One of the ways to achieve this is for every hand to begin to write, every voice must begin to speak up in calling on Hope Uzodinma never to seek reelection again. It is a mandate for all and it must be achieved. Governor Hope Uzodinma is not fit to be a governor and this he must be told this in very clear language without ambiguity. The good people of IMO state can not continue to die like chickens. Our traditional rulers have become endangered species. The political class is not left out. The question is for how long? Enough is Enough! Hope Uzodinma is not fit to be a governor. Every voice should begin to speak up for IMO people. |
adamsmith914:I wish I had enough time to reply your outburst. But sometimes, ignorance are pardoned. |
Most likely a member of a secret group. What you just narrated are pure signs of one who belong somewhere. |
A few hours from now, 2021 will be in the past whilst we launch into the year 2022. It is therefore worthy that we thank God for seeing us and our families through the year 2021. For some it was their worst year, for some it was the best while some other people might be indifferent about the year. Which ever divide you belong just thank God and be hopeful for a better and greater 2022. To those who helped us in a way or the other thank them too. Also appreciate those amazing business partners and work place colleagues. Your boss could deserve some appreciations too. Same to your spouse, children and relatives. Just find a way to appreciate all for the year ended. It is also key that we forgive those who trespassed against us. You know why? "To air is human but to forgive is divine" Avoid laziness which tendeth unto poverty. Step out and do something for your life and stop expecting from people and when they dissapoint they become your enemies. No, you are your own enemy. This year set achievable gols and pursue them with every thing in you. Be accountable. Be responsible. Develop strong characters. Learn new skills. Build and maintain great friendship. Just try out new things and see how they turn out. Be focused. Be determined. Invest. Be deligent and be your best. Stop being the Nairaland online warrior. Your time on Nairaland this year should profit you. Obi can't remain a boy all his life, he should learn to grow up. Nairaland is an amazing platform and thanks to Seun tribes. Use it to your advantage. Resist the tempatation of tribal war and bigotry. Make sure to spoil that juju following you up and down and making you hate and insult other tribes but your own tribe. To our political class una well done. We can see national and states budget are already being signed in preparation for 2022. Please use the budget for what it is intended. Don't share this one among your cronies leaving our roads in shambles, our institutions in a mess while advancing insecurity and profiting from it at the expense of the masses you swore to protect. Finally, commit the new year into the hands of God. Remember, He is the vine we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. Peace be with you all. Thank you all for year 2021 and welcome to a more fruitful and rewarding 2022. Happy New Year to you all. |
jaeyking:Toxic fellow claiming discipline |
Malory:Don't mind him. Claiming discipline when he can't even control his emotions on a faceless forum. Now imagine what he can do physically. |
Honestly the parents of this boy are mad people and needs to be questioned. What kind of publicity stunt is this when the world is grieving over Sylvester's tragic death. How are these people able to cut cake and eat knowing very well this boy is in tears whereever he is? This is utterly shameful and there is no justifiable reason for this taboo. What a family. Tueh! |
jaeyking:Who gives a Bleep about you mumu? |
jaeyking:I disagree with you that you instil discipline in them, because you are not disciplined yourself. For the fact that you can use uncivil words like "SHUT UP" at someone you haven't met before clearly shows you are not disciplined, so stop telling me how you try as a teacher to discipline students. A teacher who lacks basic characters shouldn't talk about discipline you hear? |

jaeyking:Why do you feel so hurt about that word? Oh you feel you didn't contribute in one way of the other right? Have you ever voted in this nation before? Who did you vote for and what were his achievements? Let me tell you something you don't know. It is because our government schools are in terrible state product of your voting over the years that private schools are springing up here and there. If you had voted wisely, i bet you Sylvester may not have gone to Dowen because the closest government school to his house would have been just fine and so he will go to school from home where he could have been properly looked after by his parents. His parents failed does not exhonorate you please. You claimed to be a teacher, what are you teaching them? How sure are you that in the same class you teach there are no worst of than the ones who killed sylvester? Please don't claim right here. We all are guilty in one way or the other that's the point you are missing. |
igbeke:If it were me, by now that school would have gone up in flames walahi. I have no chill for naija justice system. It is all about the rich wins it all. |
jaeyking:All of us failed him. You know how? For the fact that we keep on electing useless leaders who are bent on destroying everything about Nigeria. The decay in our educational system are all evidence of bad leaders we have been casting our votes for. If had voted right people, maybe our government schools would have been working better and who knows maybe sylvester wouldn't have gone to Dowen. That's just one way we all have contributed to his death. So when we are told to elect leaders wisely, that advice means a lot of things. |
The more I try to pen down something about the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, the more tears rolls down from my eyes like I have known the young lad before now. But the truth is I don't need to know him before I can feel the pain of Sylvester's death for one reason is that every life matters and secondly the circumstances that led to his death is indeed ugly, disturbing and in the most criuel manner. First, parents are indeed failing nowadays in their primary responsibility which is raising children. The death of master Sylvester is a pointer to failed parenting and a failed system. Which ever way you look at it, the mindless killers who tortured sylvester came from a home, had parents and maybe attends church or mosque. The big question is what are their parents teaching them and what are their religious leaders telling them? The holy book said "train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it" these mindless boys who beat sylvester to death what kind of training were they given? I need not bother my head asking same question because I know there is a total collapse of parenting today. Every parent is now busy with chasing money. House girls and boys are now the managers of home especially in the circle of the rich. Growing up, my parents made us learn the rudiments of life from cleaning to cooking, from washing to morals. But today the reverse is the case. All parents do is position their wards for cruise and enjoyment. No thourough upbringing. They neither know how to cook nor wash their cloths or dishes after eating. House maids are there after all to do it for them. The right teachings are missing and what we have are shadows yet we call them children. They are children who are only good at pressing phone and watching all manner of nonsense. How will such children not beat up a fellow school mate until he dies? The death of Sylvester is such a painful one and is condemnable by all sane minds. But Sylvester parents have to share from the blame. I am not being heartless here, after all young sylvester is now gone. But most importantly is that we must learn from this sad event even as parents. Truth be told what this young lad went through is a daily occurrence in most schools. In some schools management are aware but for some reasons are doing nothing about it. Reading the account of this sad event from Sylvester Oromoni Snr, sailient points were made. First, their son had been a victim of mindless intimidation for sometimes which he had reported to his parents. Secondly, the killers had threatened him severally with death which he also told his parents. Thirdly, the killers had requested of him to describe the private of his sister which he also mentioned to his parents. The question is what did the parents do about all of these report brought home by their son Sylvester? It is very clear that for once, neither the father nor the mother made effort to report any of those anormally to the school management for prompt action. Even at a point when the father thought of changing him from the school because of all the unfolding, yet he changed his mind and left Sylvester to stay back Dowen College. From the account it was also established that Sylvester himself at one point told his parents to change him from Dowen College Lekki but his requested was never granted. The most sad part of it all has happened, like I opined earlier we must learn from this. As a parent, it is utterly dangerous to be indecisive. Again, as parents we must always pay attention to the reports being brought back from school by our children. Everything must not be termed a child's talk. We must also make out quality time with our children, so we can always examine them physically, emotionally and psychologically. We have a terrible system in Nigeria that makes all of us vulnerable and endangered species. Imagine Dowen College trying to cover the truth claiming Sylvester had injuries from playing football. Even the players playing for satan club have never been badly injured like that. To make matter worst they declared a two days shutdown of the school and were ready to reopen the third day using exam as an excuse like nothing ever hapoened. Who does that? That is how careless, callous and insensitive the system we find ourselves in can be. Just imagine we had a working system, couldn't the school management have noticed the hoodlums some parents were paying millions of naira for as school fees for? If we had a working system couldn't they have noticed the kind of children they were breeding before they got out of hand? Couldn't they have reported the matter as it is knowing fully well that life was involved? But no, they chose to hide the truth, aid and abate evil for reasons best known to them. But who cares anyways, the chicken have come home to roost and justice must prevail. I also heard that one of the criminals involved in this destardly act has been flown abroad by his parents. Then I ask myself why? For what reason exactly was he flown abroad? Is it to exhonorate him or what? But then that also speaks volume of his parents who could conceal such rather than come clean but decided to jet their son for fear of arrest I guess. Nigeria has become a very dangerous place to leave in. No where is safe anymore. Just recently I saw a picture of a young boarding school girl who was rapped to death by her school mates or something. What these events means is that our schools are no longer safe. Cultists, drug addicts, homosexuals, lesbians now have a field day in our secondary schools. That is how low we have fallen as a nation. Dear Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, farewell! I have never met you before, but I am in pain that you had to depart this wicked world like this. Everything earthly failed you but heaven got your back. Adieu young lad! Adieu! #justiceforsylvester |
Ubi Frankline himself couldn't even muster the courage to mention the celebrity by name yet he is trolling others for not speaking up. |
Honestly the death of this little boy should be a serious source of concern to any sane mind. To think that one of the boys who participated in the torture has been flown abroad by his parents goes further to show the extent of mindlessness that runs in some parents. This week, a picture of a young girl allegedly raped to death in another boarding house surfaced online. The question is what are we teaching these children? But of course what can we possibly teach them when life is all about money and cruize. Today parents hardly subject their wards to home training instead they get house girl or boy to do all the work while their wards play game and galivant all around. Our pastors and imams are busy preaching how to make wealth leaving out morals. What has happened in Dowen college is the height of mans inhumanity to man and should be condemned by everyone with iota of human in him or her. The perpetrators must not not speared including the school management who have been cooking up lies to cover their sorry ass. |
