Having huge stakes is not about feather-weight Igbos being members of APC, it's largely about the electoral fortune of the Party in the SE. Only a stupid party will give its Presidential ticket to someone from a region, where the people will not vote the Party. It's tantamount to suicide.
The manner in which you guys reason when any matter concerns Igbos baffles me. The hypocrisy and hatred for Igbos you guys can't hide it. Do you recall PDP presented its ticket to Obasanjo and yet he lost in SW? Short memory and wickedness is really evil. Yorubas are evil. Come what may Northerners are way better than you guys.

PoliticsWhy No Sane Nigerian Should Vote Tinubu As President. by Airfixltd(op): 8:16pm On Feb 22, 2022
To be frank, it is the turn of the Igbos to produce the next Nigeria president come 2023. Although there is no official or formal arrangement in this regard going by our lopsided constitution. But then of course, certain things requires common sense for the sake of equity and fairness especially in an already fragile country like Nigeria where tribalism and religion hold sway. To buttress this above, since the return of democracy in 1999 only the SE, NC and NE have not produced Nigerian president. Given that power comes to the South in 2023, the SE should be given the chance this time.

But even if the Igbos are denied the opportunity and for instance the SW produces the next president it must not be Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Truth be told, we have the likes of the current president of AFDB and former minister of Agriculture under former president Jonathan but again I say not Tinubu.

There are a number of reasons why no sane Nigerian should support Tinubu candidacy and I will mention a few hear not minding that gullible and sentimental Nairaland followers of Tinubu will invade this thread to spew their meaningless and usual trash the same trash they spewed in 2015 that have brought them to their knees of abject poverty and suffering under Buhari.

First, Tinubu is not qualified to take over from Buhari because he is a Muslim. If he succeeds in doing that, power will automatically return to the North and of course another Muslim from the North will clinge to power. Put together what that would mean is that the Muslim would have ruled Nigeria for straight 24 uninterrupted years. Therefore, no normal, sane and educated Nigerian should vote Tinubu be you a Muslim or Christian.

Again, recently, Tinubu made a statement that he is ready to fight dirty to become the president. This sounds like the statement of a desperate man and Nigerians can not afford another desperate politician like we did in 2015. In fact this statement sounds more like when Buhari said monkey and baboon will soak in blood if he lost the election.

The point is this, to rule Nigeria shouldn't be by force or threat. In fact any sane mind should know that any aspirant who is making calous statement concerning 2023 election does not have Nigeria interest at heart. This same Tinubu years ago said he doesn't believe in one Nigeria. The question he should be asked today is when did he suddenly believe in one Nigeria that he is so desperate to rule same?

Third, it is crystal clear to the blind that Tinubu is not in the best state of health. A man who can possibly pee on his body in a public space is not fit and can't be trusted with the destiny of over 200 million people. But then of course, Nigeria is an enclave of gullible and blind supporters whose fabrics have been destroyed by ethnicity, religion and the promise of a derica cup of rice.

Tinubu should perish his aspiration to rule Nigeria for his inability to speak up for the same Nigerians he desires to rule who have been murdered in cold blood at different times and location by terrorist, bandits, UGM etc. Tinubu has also failed to call Buhari to order in the manner in which he has ruled Nigeria for the past six years. Instead of speaking up he has tolled the path of demonic silence. How can anyone trust such a man to rule Nigeria?

More, Tinubu was ones the former governor of Lagos state. Every Nigerian should probe into his days of providing leadership in Lagos. What were his achievements apart from promoting agberoism and amassing wealth for himself and his cronies. Unfortunately, Tinubu has succeeded in selling the lies that he is the architect behind all the achievement of Fashola, Ambode and Sanwolu put together. In fact many have gone ahead to buy this lies hook line and sinker. How can you be the architect of BRT without implementing it for 8 years of your reign?

Tinubu has held Lagos in his pocket and once voted in as president the same thing will play out at the federal center. He believes first in himself, his wife and children and then his loyalist. Is that the kind of president we want to have after Buhari wasteful, destructive and poverty ridden regime?

We must also reject Tinubu on the grounds that he is already old. Age is not on his side. Truth is, if Nigerians want this country to move forward, we must go for people of younger age. I do not believe in our youths to steer the ship of our national life at least not for now but an aspirant not more than sixty years resourceful, tested and proven with sterling lerdership qualities will be just fine. Such person must tell Nigerians in clear terms how he/she intends to clean the mess of Buhari regime, improve on our security, economy, education, power, infrastructure as well as improve on our international outlook.

My point is clear, it is the turn of the SE to produce a president for the sake of equity and fairness. But if for any reason the SE are not able to put their ass together then the position let another from the South take but definitely not Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is a no no for me.

PoliticsRe: Reasons igbo wants out by Airfixltd: 9:04pm On Feb 17, 2022
Investigative:
Someone, from one of the states in the North confronted me recently. He said that he was worried with the way Igbos react to national issues with too much hate and aggression.
I reminded him that in 1943, long before Nigeria had independence, in the city of Jos Plateau State,
the Igbos were killed in unprovoked attack by the Hausas, Fulanis and the locals. The accusation was Igbo domination.Eight years later, in 1953, in the city of Kano, an anti independence riot broke out and the Igbos were once again target of horrific ethnic cleansing for mainly
Supporting immediate independence from Britain. At the end many bodies of Igbo men were found dead on the streets.
In 1966, another round of ethnic cleansing by the same Hausa/Fulani group targeted the lives and properties of the Igbos due to the fallout of the January 1966 coup
From 1967 to 1970, the whole Nigeria fought the Igbos for asking for independence from a country where they were loathed. At the end of hostilities that lasted for 3 years, more than 3 million Igbos were slaughtered.

After the war, there was no reconciliation, no integration,
no rehabilitation but outright hatred, loathsome economic policies, infrastructural ostracisation, political disenfranchisement etc against the Igbos.

To make it worse, the civil war actors discouraged the study of history in Nigerian schools in order to cover up their crimes
which they extended till date while they continued the war against the Igbos in various government policies till date.
The Igbos, their lives and properties have remained target of attacks since 1970 in Northern Nigeria. The Bonkke riot of Kano also took lives and properties of
which they extended till date while they continued the war against the Igbos in various government policies till date.

The Igbos, their lives and properties have remained target of attacks since 1970 in Northern Nigeria. The Bonkke riot of Kano also took lives and properties of
many Igbo in 1991.

We also live in fear in every election cycle. When Buhari lost his Presidential election in 2011, he unleashed his people on the lives and properties of Southerners in the North. Many Igbos lost their lives and properties in that attack.
During Miss World
riot in 2002 that broke out in the North, we were also targeted for elimination and our businesses destroyed.

The Igbos also paid with their lives and properties during the Sharia riot of 2000 led by Mohammed Buhari and the Northern religious terrorists.

Very worrying is the
fact that once Buhari attained his lifelong ambition of becoming the President of Nigeria, he did not pretend about his hatred for the Igbos and till date has killed more young Igbo men than any post civil war President of Nigeria. Buhari's hatred for Igbos carries generational
support from his kinsmen and their leader Ahmadu Bello who said in an interview that he will not consider any Igbo for appointment in the North unless there are no foreigners to take the position. His fear which still ricochets across the nation was "Igbo domination"
I asked my friend, are these events I mentioned not enough for the Igbos to remain reactionary and live in mistrust against their neighbours? He was silent.

I asked him if his tribe is subjected to the same cruelty and experience the Igbos went through and are still
going through in Nigeria, what do you think would be their reaction? Embrace and kiss Nigeria? He began to mutter those wasteful words on how peace can reign within the country. The type of empty rhetorics we have been subjected to for several years yet things keep getting worse
The point of the matter is that an average Igbo man hates Nigeria. We know that we are just being merely tolerated, thus we don't want to be part of Nigeria. I don't want to be part of Nigeria either. Majority of Southerners don't want to be part of Nigeria. The only reason
Nigeria exists today is to enable the crooks that run this country unrestricted access to the oil in Niger Delta, a commodity that turned the people to base animals.

If you can understand the reason why the Jewish people bond together and react against anti semitism and
why they treat the holocaust as a very important aspect of their history then you would understand why the Igbos always bond together whenever they feel threatened within Nigeria. It will also help you understand why we react against any Igbo slur from others and why millions
of Igbos across the globe treat Biafra like a cult.

The difference between the Jewish holocaust and the Biafran genocide is simply an issue of colour. The holocaust is white while the genocide is black. Black lives and issues don't matter else Biafran genocide would have
been a global yearly reminder of man inhumanity to man. The Jews lost an estimated 6 million Jews to Hitler while the Igbos lost an estimated 5 million Igbos to Gowon who were mainly children and women.
Nevertheless, it is the duty of this generation of Igbos to make Biafra trend and place her in global consciousness wherever we find ourselves until Nigeria is sufficiently embarrassed into extinction because in truth
Nigeria does not deserve to exist nor attain the status of a nation. She is an embarrassment both to God and man.

@D_Alkebulan
Thank you for this intelligent write up. You know before now I have been a bit silent about the whole Biafran thing. But after reading this article I told myself the Biafran struggle is worth everything in me if not for anything for the sake of my children and unborn generation. Like Esther in the holy Bible said "if I die i die". From today I pledge to give the Biafran struggle the publicity it requires.

Nigeria is cursed and will remain so. Everyone who supports this contraption will die meserably. It is Biafra or nothing else will matter.
PoliticsRe: We May Consider An Igbo President If They Meet This Single Condition by Airfixltd: 7:34pm On Feb 17, 2022

That is, disown and forget him in detention. Disregard his court days so it won't make head lines just like our igboho's silent court appearances. Then we may consider them.

And a strong yet to be unvielled TERMS AND CONDITIONS will be applied.
Oga park well, yorubas have penchant for turning back on their own just to please their masters up north. Have you ever seen Northerners forgetting their own just to please you? Please don't teach Igbos your backstabbing and denial of own to please a total stranger. It is not us and it will never be. When the time is ripe Igbos will take over the presidency. Mark my words.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Tinubu Should Go And Rest, I’ll Vote For Osinbajo – Edwin Clark by Airfixltd: 7:31pm On Feb 17, 2022
Can we allow the Igbos produce the next president at least for the sake of equity and fairness?

Tinubu and Osibanjo should rescind their decision and support a president from the Igbo extarction.

You know one thing I like about the Northerners? They know they have done their 8years and so it is the South and from the SE. But guess what, they will never push it. They will rather allow SE, SS and SW to slug it out by doing so these 3 region will be fighting themselves without knowing it and then dissafection within the South will deepen. That is the Northern political calculation.

To prove them wrong is for SW and SS who have done 8 and 6 years respectively to come together and support someone from SE so power can go back North and then come back South and by then the SE and SS will support the SW because it will now be their turn.

But of course, even though the SW understand this Northern game, greed and hatred for Igbo will not allow them. They will rather dabaru the whole thing believeing they have the vote of the North.

But this their double standard and way of impunity against the Igbos will fail them soon and by then it will be too late.

Are you now insinuating that Tinubu and Gbajabiamila are controlling the leader of PDP in the house? Would you have preferred Gbajabiamila block the probe because Aregbesola is the one under scrutiny? Can’t folks like you see beyond politics?

See guy, stop allowing irresponsible media platforms like PG to deceive you. Read the full story and draw a sensible conclusion. Stop allowing the media to manipulate and guide your reaction to a story. Below in bold is what actually happened. Stop allowing them play on your intelligence.

It is you man that doesn't understand the game being played here. Forget the political party nonsense o, most of the guys in PDP are loyal to Tinubu and consequently can be used to trigger a corruption probe against a perceived enemy of Tinubu that is what just played out I can bet my balls.

definitelyME:
I will be 21 years old by June this year and I am currently out of school(dropped out for some personal reasons last year) but I will going back to school in a few months time since i gained admission this year.. I still live with my parents and to be honest, the pressure to leave my parents house especially from my dad's side has been much this past few years(although he wouldn't say it directly). Although my father is a very well to do man, with lots of properties I can't even keep track of, he always emphasise on the need for me to go a hustle for my own money and not depend on his(which I know is for my own good and I am currently working towards that).. After much thought to it, and not to forget I am the first child of five children, and two of my younger siblings who I senior with 3 and 5 years respectively, will also be writing jamb this year too seeking admission, I am currently nursing the idea to abandon the admission I've gotten this year and go look for a job. A job that pays at least 40-50k so I can work through out the year and make savings of at least 30k every Month, then at the end of the year, I use about half of the savings to start a business that can run while I school. Like okada business. I wouldn't be riding the okada. I will use half of the savings to buy the okada for someone to be riding and bringing weekly income of maybe 10k while me I go to school...

Note- I have already gotten potential jobs I would be submitting my c.v for one of them on Monday. And If I eventually get the job, I would be going to work from my uncle's apartment (he is still young too 27, without kids)..

So would you advise me to sacrifice one year for work or just accept my admission and go to school.
If your Dad is willing to fund your education then no need looking for a job. You could either live on campus or go to your uncle place and school from there. But if no one is ready to sponsor your education then you could tow the path you have just mentioned. But most importantly at your age education should be a priority and not work for now.

It bewilders me how Nigerians especially the youths with all their grammar are not smart thinking people. With all the degree they possess they remain as dumb as a snail. Nigerians truly don't deserve any pity. Just imagine reasons a whole governor was removed simply because he refused to do the wrong things in the interest of the same masses who cheer charades. This Country is deeply in a mess. I give up on it, I give up on the dumb skull citizens who are mad and foundatuonally deluded by tribal and religeous sentiments. Spits!
