You would have had a solid point if spurs is in first 3 on epl table, because that would definitely show how poor epl is, at present. Man city , arsenal and even leicester are not doing badly in ucl, spurs at the moment are having bad time. Their poor run recently in epl, is a confirmation and definitely reflectiing in ucl. So you had no point to relegate epl's quality on that basis.
