timbros: Just stop.
VVD left Liverpool in a particular position in the table when he got injured. Can you tell us that position and also tell us which position they ended up at the end of the season.
If VVD absence affected Liverpool that much, it will reflect on the league table. You wanted to use league table after first 5 games of the season to conclude anything? Come on, don't sound like a scummy bro. If you want to go that route of using that table, Liverpool were 3rd in that week VVD injured, while the eventual champion, City were 11th. You can see how Liverpool did badly by allowing an 11th placed team to overtake and win the trophy. Find an acceptable point pls, because i don't want to waste my energy explaining how Liverpool conceded most, lost back to back to back and lost most games only in the season in which VVD got injured since he joined them. Take your L.

MorataFC: Let's suspend this unnecessary salayes and all these pointless arguments which contribute no values to this thread, let us discuss the way forward, season starts in less than a week now and we have to act fast in strengthening every key department before the transfer window closes. Where are the areas u guys think we need one or two signings? ( Thank God for CF that one has been fixed ) In the last 3 seasons we have conquered European teams twice, this time around let our charity begins at home So, if "our charity must begin at home" what are the necessary things to put in place? (by fire by force or by juju by prayer ) What are the odds to defend our ucl and win it back to back? (anything and everything is possible ) And also let us take a moment to reminisce on the last season, the good the bad and the ugly.
Lastly will Lukaku be available for tomorrow's game?

Let's put it this way, Of the almost 1billion players City signed, Pep did not want 800M of them, the board forced them on him
When it comes to Cuntay that is where we start hearing he didn't want Morata, He didn't want Bakayoko, He didn't want Zapacosta, He didn't want Barkley, He didn't want Drinkwater
It's only Cuntay they always force flops on The onus lies on you to prove it that Fraudiola didnt want Rodri, Jesus, Ederson, Walker, Stones, Mahrez and other players that City spent hugely on. |

Emmynator: Since when is it a coach's duty to have astute financial sense, i guess pep is helping shiekh manage his money pretty nicely. Inter appointed Conte because they wanted to win, they told him they don't have money to sign young, hot talents and he went with the alternative of old cheap players, that will give them short term boost, what happens after he has achieved the success is none of his business. In all the heights of Barca's financial trouble I never heard anyone blame their coaches, because it's not their fault. Why then will you blame Conte for inter's financial troubles? He already delivered on his domain which is on the pitch, leave balancing books to inter's accountants. That's why i asked Swiz123 to call Fraudiola out and not Conte, but he wouldn't for reasons best known to him. |

swiz123: Conte brought it on them. No reasonable team should sign that retardd. I called him out for what he did to Chelsea, his asslickerss here came for my head, saying that most of his signings at Chelsea weren't his option. He goes to Inter, same thing happens. I know better. Look at the kind of fringe players he brought to to Inter to steal a living. He has stretched Inter's wage bill to its limit and they most now let go off their best players as no one would want to sign Conte's boys.
I just wonder why his useless Seria A triumph didn't save Inter from this embarrassment What was your old moniker when his assslickers came for your head? |

nateevs: Which is why we should stop at nothing and do that deal now.
Lukaku's game style is not based primarily on football intelligence, good technique and finding space, so I do not see how we can get 4 years from him in the PL. It will be extremely difficult.
He will be good first season but he will burn out quickly and will need to rely on those basics, the older he gets, to continue being top class.
If you think he's bad now, wait to see what he would look like when his body slows down. The decline might be extremely painful to watch. Paying like over 200m for Haaland and not stopping him from moving to Madrid or a bigger club in the near future, may not be the best. We are not even sure he will quickly adapt to a new league. With what i saw of Lukaku under Conte, i can see him coming to work hard and follow Drogba's foot steps. He proved wrong, the notion that a player of his age can't improve on his skills. His ball handling has improved and we need that too upfront. He likes the club despite doing him bad in the past and that level of allegiance is what i am not sure comes from Haaland. |
