Griffon: Two things i'm always on the lookout for; great positional awareness and anticipation skills, these are traits Kounde has in his locker. I'm sure some of the ninjas here who are complaining about his height haven't seen Jules leap.
I'm a big fan of Kounde, and im sure he would thrive in TT's system, be it as a CDM, CB or RB. Boy is just smooth, just the way Tuchel wants his team to play. I suspect that TT is sticking to his 3 CBs formation with Kounde's chase. You could see how he tried to use Reecy in that RCB position late last season. Kounde will execute it well. |

BlueAngel444: If you don't maintain it, it will break
Reason with me, Cesar is 31years old and primary a good full back, plus we don't have more options at RB/RWB other than James and to an extent Odoi and now Sterling.
Silva is 37, do we wait till next season and sign, or we sign now and slowly let him adjust to EPL.
You left Ampadu out, and I do not want Zouma to leave especially if Tuchel decides to shift back to four at the back, I don't trust Rudiger in a back four but it's either Rudiger or Zouma and as it seems Zouma is leaving.
In the long run a back four of James, Kounde, Christensen, Chilwell wouldn't be bad to have in Chelsea. I don't know Sarr or how good he is, but with a 3CB we would still have room for him
Kounde/Ampadu Christensen/Silva Rudiger/Sarr You have a point. |

that your question get has e be. Zouma maybe leaving, Silva is 37years old and won't even start the season with us, that leaves us with Rudiger and Christensen who are yet to renew their contracts which they might.
Even with Ampadu and Sarr in a 3CBs, we need at least 6CBs with all the fixtures next season. If Chelsea don't sign Kounde, Madrid will In a 3CBs, we have Reecy, Azpi, Sarr, Rudiger, Christensen, Zouma, Silva. Why should Zouma leave? Let's even sell Zouma, Sarr has joined. How come Ronaldinho never bounced back Are you stupid by asking me this question trying to give a foolish old age excuse for Falcao's inability to recover? Were you not the same idiiot that told me that Ibrahimovic bounced back at 40? So any striker who is not world class by age 20 can also blame injury? The way its easy to mock your lack of logic everytime you type more than 2 lines should make you go and beat up your teachers Now you claimed Falcao became great in Porto, why did he drop in form after he had ruptured ligament in 2013/2014 season and never bounced back to his great form till now? 2 days out with knee bruises, 6 days out with knee issues is what stopped Belotti?

Why don't you tell us the length of Belottis injuries or which player in the world does not suffer minor injury from time to time
Ask why this fraudulent airmark did not show the lenght of time the injury he highlighted put Relapsti out for. The longest injury Relapsti Belotti had was 32 days. If it takes 4yrs to recover from a 32days injury then you are a dud player.
Imagine adding a 2days bruised knee as injury.

swiz123: You are the one who is confused for mentioning Ozil who reached a very high level of performance that commensurate the teams he played for. And Pogba who in his supposed poor form was offered a significant wage increase which he turned down with the hope of joining a better team with an even bigger wage. If I am to take you remotely serious, then I might as well call Man Utd and PSG slowpoke$ You are always trying to dudge stray bullet you attracted yourself to, by typing lot of inconsequential words. Did Ozil, who was in Uefa team of the year twice before joining Arsenal, replicate that great form in Arsenal? The answer is a big NO as he stopped gracing top 20 in Ballon d'or immediately he started playing for Arsenal. In fact, Ozil's last 4 seasons at Arsenal he was bang average and Arsenal had to do without him subsequently. He is definitely talentless because no talented player should lose form for such long period. Pogba, the reknowned POORgba of Man utd? Well, a talented player shouldn't choose a team to lose form for, so save us the flimsy excuse. He is talentless according to you. swiz123: You have found a way to smuggle another player hoping I will somehow slander Falcao and Lordfalcao for you. Well, in honesty, Falcao was never tested in the highest level of football. He is largely known for his efforts in Europa league and he played for teams with relatively lesser pressure. Did well at Porto, ATM, Monaco. Failed at Man u where expectations used to be high and Chelsea where expectations are high.
There is also the case of his alleged falsified age to consider. Ogbeni, is Falcao talentless or not? Stop dancing shamelessly like a masquerade that drank 2 bottles of crown royal. swiz123: I can't answer for Wilshere cos he injured more times than he was fully fit. Why can't you answer for Wilshere? Talented players come back from injuries and hit the ground running, why didn't he in matches he played after recovering from each injury? He is talentless. swiz123: Fact is, any player who lost his spark early in his career because they had an Injury isn't very talented. Now you have added VERY to it. Keep moving from post to post. swiz123: Fact is, any player who lost his spark early in his career because they had an Injury isn't very talented. Xavi had that same ACL injury but do you expect such a talented Mildfielder not to continue from where he stopped? Totti also had a lengthy Injury but he was just too talented to be stopped. by an Injury. Only failures make excuses with an Injury they had. Why not add Del Pierro to your list so that we will ask Akpororo to call you when next he has a show. Oh, Del Pierro is talentless. |

swiz123: Wasn't Figo the World best player in 2001? Is walcott a striker? Talent get grade guy.
Where did I say he is talentless? I said he wasn't that talented... Everytime Hazard came back from one of his reoccurring injuries, the technical aspect of his game is never questioned-- only his fitness.
This arguement is too flawed that I think I shouldn't be responding to it. Is Madrid and Arsenal on the same level? Ozil lost his Zeal in the later stages of his Arsenal career but his technique was never lost. Up until he left, he was still the most gifted player there. Only his commitment was questioned, not his skill.
Pogba is clearly a case of adaption.... Who doesn't know that Pogba is a baller.. Shouldn't his national team performance reveal the reason for his plight at manure When i mentioned Pogba you remembered it's adaptation problem. Ozil, you remember it was because he was playing in average Arsenal but when you stated that a talented player couldn't lose form for long period you didn't remember there are factors that could cause it. You are not to be taken serious as you are confused. Meanwhile back to your spurious claim highlighted below. swiz123: Talented players usually bounce back after an injury because playing football comes natural to them.... Example, Marco Varrati, Harry Kane, Arjen Robben, Ribery.... No matter how long they are injured, them came back and maintain their level of performance. Is Falcao talentless since he never bounced back after his ACL injury?. Is Wilshere talentless since he never bounced back from injury to that form that made him roast Xavi and Iniesta in Ucl that year? Please don't bring that flimsy excuse of indiscipline for this two as same could be the reason why Owen and Belotti couldn't bounce back. |

If it was about pace Walcott would have won Balon d'or too. swiz123: This ability was reliant on his pace... Sadly for him, Ronaldo had everything he lacked and better at things he was good at. His decline was rapid and this lays credence to my earlier opinion Why are you always mentioning Ronaldo when he was arguably the best striker ever in modern day football. Did i tell you that Owen was the best striker ever? Owen is not talentless as you opined. That's my argument and it's a fact. swiz123: Did you watch the recent El Classico legend match.... No serious footballer would say this below Did Ozil play up to his Madrid's standard after leaving Spain? He must be a talentless player for not achieving that form at Arsenal. Will you say Pogba has delivered the eye-catching performances he reeled out at Juventus for United? He must be talentless. A striker's positional awareness in the box is an eternal skill Is Nistelrooy talented because of this and who told you Owen lacked that too? I hope you know there are drills for this. What happens to a striker with great positional awareness but no goal scoring skill? Vinicius that gets into good positions, dribbles opponents including the camera and play the ball to the corner flag must be highly talented in your eyes. Ogbeni, the most imprortant skill for a striker is goal scoring skill, which Owen had more than most strikers you must have rated above him. swiz123: Imagine showing me videos of top 10 goals to show me how owen played ... Did I say Owen doesn't have other attributes aside being fast? Of course he was a better finisher than Werner.
Owen was never as talented as other supremely talented players who didn't even win best player. Owen relied heavily on his pace, not dribbling or close control. Anyone who spared a moment or 2 to watch Owen would likely notice his pace before any other thing.
Now before we drift too much, talented players always recover form quicker than less talented players... Take that to the bank You typed a lot of words with no substance. You want your striker to be moving like earthworm just so as he can dribble even when there is space in his front to explore and face the keeper. Owen at his peak was not only better than Werner, he was one of the best finishers ever to play football in Epl. If you are a great finisher as a striker, you are not talentless. I hope you are not one of those fools that would call Nistelrooy a talentless striker because he doesn't dribble 5 players before scoring. There's a reason we have dearth of great finishers and old ones are being recycled. If you are scoring goals as a striker, you are a talented striker. |
