Why should we miss a defensive minded player when we can easily outscore opponents with the millions we spent in attack? Remember that the board listened to you and spent heavy on attack? Remember? Or should I dig out the post you listed how much we spent on attack vs the little we spent on defence? Remember you claimed the board listened to you?

Why are we now missing a defensive midfielder and a defender? Can't we simply outscore?
I knew you are praying for all players to get injured so you can type this nonsense above. I also know you were pained with the World club trophy we won, but long may it continue to pain you. grin

Vini is now the most wingers ?

Hakimi best season in football was last season and there was no time in James career that he came close to that
If Vini at his peak could pick James ahead of your Hakimi that he ran ragged multiple times, bring another winger with 2 UCL medals, that heaped similar praises on Hakimi.

You know we have been missing Lavia, a defensive midfielder and James, a defender all through last year but you successfully wasted my time all year arguing that attack was our major problem.

You and Mikel are the same. You don't even know what you want.
Go back to my initial post and see if it's only Lavia's name i put there. Do something to your aging memory, get Ginkgo biloba asap.

You nailed it. Na recency bias dey qorry them.

Put reece in this PSG team. Even in this unfit state, he will still boss games.

But why you bring in Timbros? grin you don turn to Reno omkri that will insert Peter Obi in matters between him and his estranged wife.
Timbros is a good example of how people forget things in a hurry. Imagine a Chelsea fan saying we don't miss Lavia, especially when Colwill is already out. grin

Nothing like recency bias

When Reece was fully fit and balling his best season wasn’t up to hakimi best ,it’s simple and clear
When was Hakimi's best season?

Anyways, most wingers will prefer to play against a peaked Hakimi than to face a peaked James. That's how you know the better defender.

They just won the CWC.

However, having the best RB or AW doesnt translate to wiining always. A tre cannot make a forest. 4 good players can have their efforts undone by dross like Tosin, fofana, badiashiel. Sancho, Jackson plus Enzo that is neither here nor there.

At PSG, you have a complete eleven. So if James goes into that team, na crosses upon crosses you go dey see...which are usually pinpoint.

Defensively, James will floor Hakimi. In attack, James has great output too. Nice crosess, set pieces and free kick specialist also. He was also scoring often at some point..before inury slowed him greatly.

All this noise about Hakimi is because he is fit...plus he is in the best team where their style of play is to starve the opponent of the ball, like barca back in the days. So he is mostly like never gonna face much attacking onslaught from the opponent and he will always have the luxury of attacking.

James have never been in this type of team, yet he still shines.

I am not undermining Hakimis talent....But he is not better than our own REECE. Now? He is..before? NO!!!
Most people here don't have retentive memory, that's why a so-called Chelsea fan, Timbros, didn't remember that Lavia played 6 consecutive matches last season and how he improved our midfield play.

Injury really dealt with Reecy and recency bias is a thing.

James best RB, Cucurela best LB, Caicedo best DM, Palmer best AM etc but by season end, we will be reading posts of agony and gnashing of teeth.
Its almost 10yrs since Chelsea last challenged for the league
When did you start getting attracted to local titles?

Hakimi's defensive ability is overhyped. Offensively he may edge James but defensively, he is not better than Trippier.

Shut up!

I can't believe you still have mouth to talk.

I was the one that originally said "3 consecutive matches". Any amount of matches he played above that doesn't concern me. You can only point two occasions he was able to string three matches together consecutively.
That's how you throw words around foolishly and later look dumb to defend them.

A player you claimed hardly played 3 consecutive matches, played 6 and 5 consecutive matches, with impressive results. Not only that, you also questioned my the fact that Lavia is being missed. I believe you will be one of very few foolish Chelsea fans that will do that on this thread.

Arguing with you is really a waste of time.

Liar from the pit of hell.

He played 5 consecutive matches twice, not 3 consecutive matches twice. Stop embarrassing yourself Timbros. Abi you no know the difference between 3 and 5 again? grin

Lavia that you claimed hardly played 3 consecutive matches for us all his career, played 6 consecutive matches and 5 consecutive matches on different occasions, last season and we saw his influence in those matches. Why would you know when you don't watch our matches?

Obviously, you are not a true fan and no need replying all your mumu questions. Even a one-eyed Lordfalcao understands how much we've missed Lavia in the middle.
