[s]Hummels was the one who fled competition to settle in a tier 2 team, Boateng has been a started at a tier 1 team for almost a decade, where Hummels couldnt survive

So why are they offering him for sale on Jumia? cheesy cheesy cheesy

You can continue wailing while the coach is giving his confidence in Boateng

under coach Hansi Flick. Boateng been a mainstay in Bayern’s back line alongside fellow veteran David Alaba

Boateng is a regular now in defence the same place Hummels failed and was booted out in 3 seasons
grin grin

Audio confidence to attract Magas to drop money.

If he is so important to your team, why are they now offering him for sale on Konga, when nobody is bidding for him? cheesy cheesy cheesy

You have been wailing about this for the past few seasons yet Boatank still remains a key starter at the club while Hummels was booted out
Unlike Hummels, nobody submitted any bid for the useless defender.

Last year the Club president begged him to leave the team, he refused. He wanted to remain a carry-along player winning trophies with no tangible input.

They will soon ask Segedinho to give them 'Hit and leave the club' ring to force him out of Munich. grin grin grin

Last season:

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has advised Jerome Boateng to leave the club and take on a new challenge.

"I would recommend him as a friend to leave the club," Hoeness said. "He needs a new challenge. Recently he has seemed out of place."

Disgraceful. grin grin

Ziyech on the left, Pulisic on the left, Werner up front.
If he decides in 4-3-3, Mount and Havertz, if he signs, will play AMF.
The thing about these players - Havertz, Mount and Ziyech - is that they can play on the wings and as AMFs. Even Pulisic played as a 10 for USA until Belharter moved him to the left.
And Werner can play on the wings as well.

Benrahma would be nice tho. But not really necessary if we get Havertz. Except we loan CHO.
Pulisic and Ziyech on the left, why?

Pulisic will score a lot of goals as he seems to have mastered the art of entering that hole to receive the ball and move straight to the heart of opposition's defence to wreck havoc. Ziyech should be doing similar thing from the right flank.

Be it 3-4-3 or 4-3-3, all i want is for those front 3 to be causing incessant disasters for our opponents.

CHO with time will return to his peak, we know he got it.

Ziyech is not playing CAM in Chelsea bro. He is playing left-wing where Benrahma will forever sit behind him. Total waste of money and law of diminishing returns. We already have 3 wingers and another 3 capable of playing there on the odd occasion the first 3 are injured.
Ziyech will play LW or RW? I want to believe Pulisic is holding that LW down already and Ziyech RW.

I'd definitely take Jorginho without even giving it a second thought. His game suits Serie A down to the tee. He'd absolutely thrive here. I also won't mind both Chris and Bats at the right price. Former Blues star Leboeuf told ESPN FC on the challenge facing Lampard: “[He needs to improve] all of them. That’s the problem.

“The goalkeeper is a big issue, but you have to go to the main [issue]. If you’re looking at the main issue, it’s the central defenders.

“[Kurt] Zouma is doing great, but I’m not confident about [Antonio] Rudiger, I’m not confident about [Andreas] Christensen. I don’t know what will happen with [Fikayo] Tomori, but I think they need a big guy.

“You saw what happened with Liverpool when they got Van Dijk, he changed everything. Even Lovren and Gomez looked better alongside him..

“You need a big guy to make sure he’ll lead the defence. Look at Ramos. [Raphael] Varane is a fantastic player, but is he still the fantastic player when he plays for France as when he plays for Madrid with Sergio Ramos? He’s better with Real Madrid.

“They need a big guy in the centre of defence, yeah.”

Greatihex, you see another expert view on Rudiger here? No need having 5 CBs in the team, keeping everyone, after we sign a better one. Rudiger is 27, we should cash out on him now, Man utd need a kponkpon CB.

Tomori did not have ACL. He just had a small muscle injury that kept him out for 3 weeks.

How did you determine he's lost pace from this gif? cheesy
You claimed injury doesn't affect the speed of a player, i just debunked that with that line.

Ibime:
C'mon bro. Playing centreback is the least physically taxing position on the pitch. You don't lose speed when you've been injured, what you lose is stamina.
Tomori's last match against Bournemouth, he played rubbish. He was even substituted from that match if i could remember. Not every player will come back from injury and remain decent like Terry and co.

That's one of the moments i could give you. grin I watched few of Chelsea training sessions and i could see Tomori's rustiness. We were not on their ground, Lampard would have used him, if fit. I believe you know that.

Ibime, Airmark, Unlimited22, BlueAngel444 and others, what do y'all think about this?

I haven't really watched much of him, but I remember one time last season when Marcelo was having a torrid run, people were really praising this guy.
Tired of all these rumours o.

Reguilion has improved but a NO for me. I am not sure of him playing without getting injured in a physical Epl with his style.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 7:31pm On Aug 03, 2020
Ibime:
C'mon bro. Playing centreback is the least physically taxing position on the pitch. You don't lose speed when you've been injured, what you lose is stamina.

You don't need much stamina to play centreback cos you get a lot of recovery time between attacks. Lesley King used to play centreback for 10 years without training all week. He would swim a couple of times in the week and play on weekend cos he had no cartilage in his knee. John Terry played the last decade of his career with back problems. You could never play midfield of fullback with these sort of problems.
If you don't follow your post-operation instructions well, you will lose speed after recovering from ACL.

Not getting exposed, depends on the formation deployed at the back

We deployed 3 men at the back and Arsenal kept on using swift counter, targeting the space in our back line. You must be mentally and physically ready for that. I guess Lampard being closer to the players more than me and you, knew who was more ready for such.

Match rustiness can happen to any player, be it a defender or a Striker. The Tomori i saw in training was not ready and Lampard must have seen that too.

It's not about stamina alone, mental readiness is vital so as to make swift and proper decision. The last match he played for us, he was a shadow of his old self and a repetition of that couldn't be relied on in a keenly-contested final.

He wasn't ready.
